Frühauf Genuss in Rottach-Egern

Currently only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the cuisine is still excellent, with classic Bavarian dishes (roast pork, schnitzel, venison), as well as modern options (salad plate with spring rolls, zander, etc.). Prices are a bit high, but the quality is top-notch and the portions are generous! Parking fees at the Wallber parking lot are waived for visitors!

We visited Mayer zum Kirchner in Rottach-Egern again and were absolutely thrilled! The quality of the food is top-notch – fresh, regional, and prepared with great attention to detail. Every course was a real highlight. I would especially like to highlight the service, which was simply incredibly warm and attentive. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. A restaurant that impresses on every level: wonderful ambiance, excellent cuisine, and a passionate team. Clear recommendation – we'll definitely be back! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We were disappointed with the Postillion Tegernsee. The food wasn't up to the quality of the other restaurants we've visited. The roast pork was okay, but the Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) were swimming in oil and not particularly tasty. Furthermore, we were barely acknowledged by the server, even though the restaurant isn't very large. We would have liked to order more drinks, but the waitress simply didn't respond. As a result, our visit ended rather early, which wasn't what we had hoped for.

We were a group of 10 and received quick and very friendly service. The freshly prepared food was also served promptly! Everything was wonderful and truly delicious! The cozy and rustic atmosphere perfectly complemented our stay!
