Very friendly and empathetic waiter. Nice, quiet rooms, nothing intrusive and you don't sit on a presentation plate. The food was excellent, only the carrots were a bit too crunchy, but I think that's a matter of taste. All in all highly recommended!

One of the few restaurants that is open on Tuesdays, therefore very busy. My steak was very good.

We discovered this restaurant during our holiday at Tegernsee and we really liked it there straight away. The kitchen is recommended; We had lunch there 3 times and were very satisfied 3 times. The innkeepers are very friendly and accommodating. We will go there again on our next vacation!!!

Was in this restaurant with my wife at 2:35 p.m. on September 18th, 2024 and wanted to order food, but it was not possible because we left the restaurant after 20 minutes. The reason was that we were sitting at the table and were not noticed by the serving staff. The staff - 3 women - found it more important to have their private conversations than to pay attention to us as guests. We were looked at astonished at times 😲, but none of the ladies thought it necessary to see us as a guest and carry out a service. We were in this restaurant some time ago when we were served a burnt duck. We - have found that nothing has changed about the poor service in this restaurant. According to our knowledge, the restaurant cannot be recommended as there are restaurants here that offer excellent service. It seems that in this restaurant - the satisfaction of the guests is foregone.

Female waitress “welcomed” us, visibly annoyed. There were two of us (with a dog) and outside of rush hour (4:30 p.m.). Sorry for that. She assigned us a table in the passage and thus right in the middle, even though everything except two tables was free. Of course not really ideal with a dog. Table still needed to be cleaned. The waiter who was responsible for us was nice and, after taking the order, came up with the idea of ​​perhaps seating us somewhere else. We ordered cheese spaetzle and veal cream goulash. The portion of cheese spaetzle for €15.90 was too expensive for the small portion. On top of that, the plate wasn't clean in several places. To be fair, the goulash was good, but could have used more spaetzle.

It couldn't be more Bavarian. Great, rustic 🍺 beer garden with a menu for every taste. Prices for Rottach Egern will soon be sensationally low. Portions more than sufficient. It should be noted that there is pork knuckle day once a week and extra pork roast days on three days, from Friday to Sunday.

The Gasthof zum Rosser is centrally located in Rottach-Egern. The beer garden is located on the busy main street, but that doesn't detract from the enjoyment. The service is very friendly and the food tastes excellent. The price-performance ratio is reasonable. Gladly again.

Since we only wanted to eat one beer and the Kaiserschmarrn, we had a soup and a main course. Plus one or two beers and various wine spritzers. We can say it was a great stay with great service & ambience. It was a successful first evening. I feel really comfortable here🤓🤓🍺🍺

The onion roast is not recommended. The roast beef is not of the best quality - comes close to the sole of a shoe. The onions are served with a brown sauce. Fried onions are a better choice for me. A pity !! Because the entire location makes a good impression.

Genau das, was man in der gemütlichen bayerischen Urlaubsgegend erwartet. Ein Gasthaus, in dem alles stimmt. Deftige schmackhafte Gerichte, ausgesuchte Getränke von Bier bis Wein und Schnäpsen. Dazu ein super freundliches und kompetentes Team. Man fühlt sich wohl und ist sicher, dass man wiederkommen möchte. Findet man leider nur noch selten.

During our Tegernsee vacation we went to the Gasthaus Rosser several times to eat here, where we were always satisfied until our last visit. Then ordered venison goulash with spaetzle and red cabbage. The meat and the red cabbage were good, the spaetzle were almost cold and the approval was ketchup on the spaetzle instead of cranberries.

Wir hatten eigentlich ein gut bürgerliches Restaurant erwartet… wurden aber sehr überrascht. Super nette Bedienung mit toller Empfehlung … wir hatten Beide den Saibling und das war ausgezeichnet gut.🔝🔝🔝🔝 Besser geht nicht!!! Also immer wieder gerne dorthin!!! PS: bitte unbedingt reservieren

Um 16.30 Uhr , entweder vom Vortag oder zu lange im Ofen warmgehalten.Knödel hart und trocken . Die Bratkartoffeln zum Tafelspitz nicht frisch zubereitet. Krautsalat zum Rosser Teller gut. Irgendwie hatten wir das Gefühl die Bedienungen hatten untereinander keine Korrespondenz.

No matter when you are in Rottach-Egern, a visit to the “Zum Rosser” restaurant should always be on your plan. The food is first class, the prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly, considerate and always open to a nice conversation. All in all a nice place to spend some time. But what you should always have on your list is a reservation, otherwise there may be waiting times.
