We were at Binderbräu on Easter Monday around 6 p.m. with a small dog and, even though there were only a few guests in the restaurant, we were sent to the back and cool dining room. The Saxon service was friendly, but didn't appear often, so we decided not to order a digestif. The atmosphere in the Brauhaus Tegernsee and this restaurant are worlds apart. Beer is also cheaper at Tegernsee.
By chance...
...we stumbled upon Erich Schwingshackl and his culinary skills. We always treat ourselves to a special meal for our wedding anniversaries, so we decided to try his cuisine. We combined this with a stay at the Naturhotel Rebling, where the restaurant is located.
On Friday evening, the time had come, and we treated ourselves to a seven-course gourmet menu with friends.
The table was beautifully decorated, and we sat in the center of the small gourmet restaurant. We were the only guests in the area that evening, but this didn't detract from the service or the food at all.
Mrs. Schwingshackl looked after us excellently and gave us very helpful advice on all our questions about the dishes and drinks. She was also open to our requests. Her husband then cooked us an outstanding menu, which was a delight from start to finish. All the dishes were a taste experience, and the presentation was also a feast for the eyes.
This meal is worthy of its Michelin star, and the price was perfectly reasonable.
The feel-good atmosphere that the Schwingshackl family has created in this small, fine restaurant deserves special mention. And then there's the magnificent view that stretches far beyond Deggendorf...
The area surrounding both restaurants is completely surrounded by a balcony. A summer dinner here is certainly a very special experience – both in terms of the cuisine and simply because of the magnificent view.
Spontaneously went out to eat on Rose Monday, ate in the restaurant, the service was very friendly. The food was great, exactly as hoped. It was fresh to recommend to us at any time. Always my pleasure
Had to throw away the kebab as it was inedible. The flatbread was really good, but the meat was hard and impossible to chew. Like biting into the crust of a roast pork. Really scary, don't want to know what kind of meat it was or how old it was.
We ate there today and felt very comfortable. Not only was the food really good (we had the buffet, which was completely sufficient and had a few surprises), but because the staff served us very kindly and gave us many tips. We would love to come back 👍
I had to !!!25 minutes!!! Waiting for the burger and fries I ordered, even though there were only a few guests there. When I asked when I could expect my order, I was simply left standing and ignored. I can't put into words the unfriendly face of the employee. For me, NEVER again McD Bad Tölz!
