Llorona in Bad Tölz

The food was delicious (burrito with beef strips) but the waiting time was a bit too long.

Delicious food, friendly staff, fast service, what more could you want?

I've visited many Mexican restaurants, but I haven't had something as tasty as Llorona's in a long time. The kitchen is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+ and the service was also great. When I'm here again, I'll definitely come back 👍🥰

Waited too long for food, but it didn't taste good at all.

We had a good appetizer, then we waited an hour for tacos and enchiladas that never came and then left hungry. The chef was sitting at the next table!! Too bad

Unfortunately I have to report the following: I was a guest at Liorona today: everything was okay until I asked about the bill. The service was good, the outdoor space in the sun was a dream. After I asked the waiter three times for the bill, 40 minutes passed before I asked for the bill again at the counter inside. The ladies behind the counter immediately reacted angrily and called me rude, which was then loudly repeated outside in front of the other guests. An amount of €15.90 was then called, which I rejected because it was obviously too little. The request for a receipt was rejected. Quote: then give me 20 € and that's it.... I then accepted, again pointing out how rude I was as a guest. Thank you very much... Gastronomy is different... certainly in Tölz too.

Absolute juice shop. We waited three quarters of an hour for a beer. My colleague is already shaking badly. After asking three times, his beer finally arrived. Insane performance. Simple portion of sweet potato fries still not at the table after an hour. Where do we live then? The drinks taste like weed. All of this in combination with the main street, not recommended.

We had to wait forever for our drinks + the waitress with the white dress was super unfriendly and couldn't even make an effort to say hello. Our second order was also not served when asked. Unfortunately I can't recommend going there.

It's nice to sit outside, even if it's right on the side of the road. It's quite tight inside and we had to wait quite a long time for anything to happen. However, the food is very good and tasty 😋 And there is still room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness 🙄

“Great Mexican food!” The tacos were super fresh, the guacamole was to die for, and the salsas had just the right amount of heat. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was totally relaxed. Perfect for a chilled evening with delicious food. 9/10 – I’ll be back!

Great restaurant with good food from great people. Every time a highlight and an absolute win for Tölz. Portions are more than decent, always of great quality and without exception everyone in service was friendly and extremely accommodating. The ambience doesn't have to hide from the Jailhouse, which is four times as big and well-known.

We had a take away and in my burrito came two big pieces of an extremely SPICY chili, which I didn’t order to! The food is amazing, but it was very uncomfortable to eat that spicy unadvertised.

There is nothing to complain about when it comes to food. One of the few restaurants that offers authentic softshell tacos. Burgers top, burritos top, quesedillas top, beer selection also top. Of course it's not the cheapest in terms of price, but you can taste why. Everything is homemade (except for the extra chili sauces, of course). Unfortunately I have to agree with the many reviews regarding the service. We were there on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The terrace was full and all but three tables inside were reserved. At the beginning there were only 2 completely overwhelmed waiters in the restaurant. One was constantly busy at the bar and the other brought out orders and took them from the terrace. They were obviously trying hard and tried their best, but on a day like this (and the weather forecast had predicted this for a long time) and with so many reservations, I can't have just 2 people for the service. After about an hour a waitress came and took over at the bar, but that was just a drop in the ocean. We saw several couples and groups come in, sit at a table and leave without being able to place an order. Of course, we don't know whether someone lost service at short notice, but the many reviews regarding the service suggest a systematic problem. Of course, this spoils the whole experience in an otherwise excellent restaurant.

The food is good, the service and cleanliness needs improvement. We had to wait for about 15 minutes for a waiter to come and take our order. The place had multiple flies at our table. Meanwhile the waiter / barista was chatting with a friend and petting her dog. He did not wash his hands afterwards. For the drinks we ordered we again had to wait another 10 minutes. The food took over 30 minutes to arrive. The food itself was very good and authentic.

Everything was great 👍🏼 We were following a shipment "My restaurant, your restaurant" Thanks for the contribution and the wonderful feedback. So we tried the restaurant and were completely satisfied. In German: Lonely top! If we're even close, we'll come back. Verdict: highly recommended!

Because of a bad weather front, the two of us spontaneously came in here in the evening and luckily got a place. The restaurant is decorated in a suitably Mexican style and offers various delicacies from Mexican cuisine: burritos, quesadillas, tacos, ... There are hot sauces at the table to spice things up. The drinks menu is also great, there are various types of Spritz and a refreshing Radler with a touch of rosemary. The service is very friendly.

Unfortunately the vegetarian bowl was a complete disappointment. Comparable to a supermarket salad. Only the very nice service saved it. After the complaint brought 2 different sauces. The Chesodillo tasted good. Hence 2 points

Excellent, authentic Mexican place in the very Bavarian Bad Tolz. Fajitas, quesadillas, tacos were great. Well, maybe a little towards Texmex, but forgivable :)

The Llorona (Crybaby) is directly opposite a paid car park and the Isar. You can sit well outside and present yourself on the side of the road, so to speak. It's quite tight inside and sometimes you have to wait a long time for something to happen. However, the food is very good and the drinks (caipi) are also delicious. Personally, I would never come back if they offered Caipi and couldn't do it properly. So... I'll be back! :)

Delicious! Everything was tasty especially the tacos de cerdo.

The tacos are very good, we tried everything: beef, pork, shrimp and chicken. They are corn tortillas. All very good, as Centeo-Americans we approve of the place. We will return 🫶🏼

We discovered this restaurant purely by chance and were completely thrilled. From the inviting ambience, the detailed decoration to the authentic, very tasty food. The portions were sufficiently large. Great value for money. The service was very courteous and friendly. Extra requests, such as a delicious hot sauce, were fulfilled. In addition, the service was very understanding of food intolerances and the kitchen was very flexible in this regard. It was a very delicious evening. Many many thanks. And thank you also for the leisure tips in this beautiful holiday region.

The location is central to the pedestrian zone, opposite the river. The location is therefore very nice. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside and enjoy the sun. There is enough seating in the restaurant. The menu was clear and there was something from all the classics. You shouldn't expect high Mexican cuisine, but it wouldn't fit either. But to sit nicely and enjoy a tacco, burrito and chili con carne, it's all worth it. The food was well made and tasted good. There was no dedicated parking space. The service was nice and helpful. Conclusion: recommended if you want to eat nicely, with a good view and fancy Mexican food.

We've eaten there several times. The food has always been very tasty. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. There is a waitress there who is extremely snotty. If you don't want the job, please do another one. Once the wrong food was brought and we were kicked out for it. Sometimes we had to wait about an hour for the food. It would be nice if the service became more professional.

I love Mexican food, but unfortunately my expectations were not met. I don't like coriander in my food at all. You can't cancel it either, as the dishes are already (pre?)cooked with it and the herbs aren't just sprinkled on at the end. The tuna carpacchio as a starter and my friend's burger were great, but if I had wanted something like that I wouldn't necessarily have had to go to the Mexican restaurant. Sorry - I tried the tortillas anyway, but unfortunately it wasn't quite my cup of tea.

Fantastic food, great service; very kind personnel and nice and cosy atmosphere with cool decors. I had the burrito with gamba’s, spinach mozzarella abd a lot of other tasty things and it tasted sooo good! The home-made tea was great as well! So yummy! I loved it!! We’ll definitely be coming back if we ever visit Bad Tölz again!

Complete recommendation! We were greeted very nicely and my daughter was immediately recommended the rosemary lemonade and the children's plate. She was happy and enjoyed it ☺️ The food was great even for the adults and the price was reasonable. Great service and very cozy. We'd love to come back.

Haben Essen zum mitnehmen bestellt, die Burger waren auf den Punkt gebraten und auch die Verpackung ist genial weil sie sich auffaltet und man einen Pappteller aus der eigentlich würfelförmigen Box erhält. Der Innenraum war sauber und ansprechend dekoriert, auch der Preis ist absolut im Rahmen wie ich finde. Gerne wieder.

Waren hier an einem Sonntag Abend zu zweit. Nachdem wir herausfanden welche der Türen der Eingang ist fiel direkt auf, dass die Atmosphäre und die Dekorationen super sind. Hatten eine nette und zuvorkommende Kellnerin. Ein Stern Abzug weil wir circa 40 Minuten gewartet haben bei Schätzungsweise halb vollem Lokal. Als das Essen kam war uns aber direkt klar, dass sich das Warten gelohnt hat. Hatten den Llorona Burger + Süßkartoffelpommes & die Fajitas de Pollo und beides war wirklich wirklich fabelhaft. Der etwas erhöhte Preis ist 100% durch Qualität & Quantität gerechtfertigt. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend und kommen gerne wieder (Leute wie ich, denen Koriander leider nicht schmeckt sollten sich bei der Auswahl aus der Karte bewusst sein, dass dieser voraussichtlich in vielen Gerichten / Dips enthalten ist)

Das Essen ist einfach hervorragend, frische Zutaten und mit liebe zum Detail angerichtet. Die Preise sind fair und es ist alles stimmig . Das Servicepersonal ist freundlich und auf Zack ... Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen 👍👍

Essen/Service jedes mal top. Im Sommer kann man draußen schön sitzen und die Abendsonne genießen.

fajita chrispy chicken: schmeckte nur nach koriander(frischen), aber very too much! mein mann (zum geburtstag) fajita mit rind: einfach nur scharf und bitter, denke verbrannter paprika oder chili, kein hinweis in der speisekarte wg. der schärfe wartezeit auf karte, getränke und essen jeweils grenzwertig… mein mann hatte in den fast zwei stunden ein! bier. kam ja auch niemand zum bestellen. wir lieben den wirt; jürgen, aber da muß geschraubt werden, in zwei stunden kam niemand um eine weitere getränke-bestellung auf zu nehmen! aber als personal sich nach neun hinzusetzen um zu essen…… ich war jahrzehnte bedienung: jeder kann gerne essen wann zeit ist, aber vorher drehe ich noch eine runde um zu schauen ob alles ok ist. auch auf‘s bezahlen mussten wir warten. espresso und tequilla gab‘s auf‘s haus. bzw. zahlte der wirt! für keinen guten service! sorry nachtrag: und für unseren hund gab es kein wasser, wir hatten auch keine möglichkeit eines zu ordern; unser hund hat auch alle spinnweben unter unserer sitzbank eleminiert!

Leider zur Zeit etwas versteckt in der Baustelle. Das Essen schmeckt prima und ist für die Menge und Qualität gar nicht teuer. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ein take-away Cheeseburger hatte nichts von einem guten Burger. Kein Patty , sondern ein 6cm hoher Fleischklops und ein großes , dickes Bun .... na ja.

Wir waren heute auf einer Radtour über Mittag zu Gast. Sehr freundlicher Empfang von Bedienung und Chef, den wir fragten, ob es auch was "Kleines" gäbe. Seine Empfehlung: Quesadillas. Haben wir dann auch bestellt und waren top zufrieden: Quesadillas absolut lecker, Salat knackig und frisch. Unsere Empfehlung für Mexikanisch in Bad Tölz!

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 7 zum Essen. Das Essen war gut, allerdings war an jedem Gericht Koriander, auch an denen, bei denen es auf der Karte nicht ausgewiesen war. Einige von uns mögen dieses Gewürz nicht und hatten deswegen Gerichte ausgewählt, bei denen es nicht dabei stand. Auf Nachfrage erklärte die Kellnerin, das doch überall Koriander drüber gestreut werde. Der Erdbeer Margarita war mit Himbeeren, leider viele Kernchen. Fazit: Service gut, man sitzt auch schön. Essen gut, aber nur, wenn man Koriander mag. Parken kann man gegenüber am Isarkai (kostenpflichtig und oft belegt) oder auf der anderen Seite der Isar im sehr günstigen Parkhaus. Der Fußweg vom Parkhaus zum Lokal sind nur gute 5 Minuten.

Auf die Karte mussten wir bereits 15min warten, auf den Cocktail und einen Minztee haben wir dann 45min gewartet. Der Minztee war leider eine heiße Limette mit Minzblättern... Das bestellte Essen kam leider nur bei meinem Freund an - leider auch nicht die korrekte Bestellung und somit müssten wir es zurück gehen lassen. Dass bei einem Paar das Essen getrennt serviert wird, ist mir ohnehin fremd. Nach insgesamt etwas über eine Stunde warten ohne Essen, haben wir bezahlt und sind gegangen. Unser Essen wurde dann in der Küche abbestellt - es klang, als hätte man noch nicht einmal damit begonnen. Die junge Kellnerin war sehr am Rennen und fleißig - wirkte dadurch aber auch etwas gestresst. Die ältere Kollegin war dagegen recht unfreundlich. Es war von den Gästen recht gut besucht, was vielleicht eine Entschuldigung ist, dennoch merkte man auch anderen Gästen die Unzufriedenheit an. Der Nachbartisch stimmte uns mit der unmöglich langen Wartezeit zu und zwei andere junge Gäste sind wieder gegangen, nachdem sie nicht mal eine Karte erhalten haben. Vermutlich ist das Lokal einfach unterbesetzt... Sehr schade...

mexican food the best i ever tried in baveria including munich. its not so common anyway in baveria. tortilla chips cheese, quesadilla and guacomole all very good. fresh ingredients. onion and tomatos good quality. ambiance & location very nice. i would come over to bad tölz for mexican

Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Essen ist sehr gut und Portionen sind ordentlich. Preislich muss ich sagen ist es vielleicht ein wenig zu teuer. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen.
