Simply fantastic! I was in the Waldschenke and had gyros with kalamatis, the taste was absolutely perfect! The meat was super tender and spicy, and the calamatis went perfectly with it. The portion was generous and the price-performance ratio was totally right. Add to that the warm service and the cozy atmosphere, you immediately feel at home. I will definitely come back and can only warmly recommend the Waldschenke to everyone!

Exceptional cuisine, fantastic creations, excellent flavors. A wonderful surprise; it's a shame we hadn't been there sooner. No matter what we ordered, everything tasted exceptionally good and was superbly presented. From the sensational tuna cubes and bouillabaisse as starters to the truly generous portions of monkfish slices and meagre as main courses, to the dessert of mocha parfait and the fantastic coconut cake with mango, there was absolutely nothing to criticize. Simply superb. After the truly fantastic tuna cubes, I was skeptical as to whether the rest of the dishes would be as high-quality as the rest. Thankfully, this fear was unfounded. The crispy fried meagre with risotto and a delicious beurre blanc was just as unique in flavor as the monkfish slices with shrimp and calamari. The portion sizes for both main courses were truly generous. The coconut cake was a wonderful finale. I'm not a fan of cakes, as they're often dry. But I was proven wrong here. Combined with the various mango variations, it was a nice finishing touch. Only the chili threads bothered me a bit while eating. All in all, excellent service, friendly and attentive, and good value for money. We'll be back, that's for sure! Unfortunately, the photos didn't turn out so well.

We had Pizza Mare and Margherita, which were very tasty. Service was very friendly and good. Gladly again. Price-performance very good.

The Naturfreundehaus Braunenberg offers its guests a lot. Since Corona there have been nice huts here that can accommodate up to 8 people. There is also a great playground for the kids and, when the weather is sunny, benches in the middle of the natural meadow, simply great. The drinks and food are ok. When the house is full, it can happen that the tarte flambée is served cold or that one or two drinks are forgotten. But otherwise you feel completely comfortable here. The waitresses are super friendly and the view of Aalen and the Ostalb is a dream. A must: walk the nature trail instead of the road.

Went for dinner yesterday with 5 people, fast and friendly staff. Salad came after 10 minutes and the main course was served shortly afterwards. Great pork medallions, the sauce is nice and thick and really a dream with delicious spaetzle. It's been a long time since I've eaten this well and no other restaurant in the area can keep up with it. We'll definitely be back.

A good, home-style restaurant. The food was excellent, simply good German cuisine. Reservations are recommended!
