Very good down-to-earth Greek. Very good price/performance ratio. Top recommendation, very nice terrace. We are always thrilled.

Have been here many times now, always very good quality and always friendly service. Always a lot going on and yet everything always fits together in a short time. Reservations are actually a must to be sure you get a spot.

A visit is definitely worth it, even though the restaurant was packed we were served promptly. Everything went very quickly ☺️ and the service was super nice. The price-performance ratio is still right here, you get portions that fill you up at a reasonable price. We will definitely come back.

We came very late. Nevertheless, we all still got gyros with rice. It was very tasty and the waitresses were very friendly. Always my pleasure

Greek cuisine with the unfortunately typical habit of using meat that is too lean and the zaziky with little garlic and cucumber. German, of course. What's unbelievable is that in this restaurant the toilet is one spiral staircase down... what do impaired customers do? That's not inclusion. Therefore only a few stars. Unfortunately the next day our clothes smelled like food... U

Passed by here by chance and immediately turned around and stopped in. On a Friday lunchtime it was well filled here. We received a very friendly welcome and got a place for 2 without booking in advance. Great selection on the menu and good salad buffet. I saved the location in Maps straight away. Highly recommended. Price and performance are right here...

Old traditional restaurant that has been Greek for many years. Good Greek cuisine, there are also Swabian dishes, although I haven't tried them. Very nice outdoor area. Enough parking spaces. I cannot provide any information about the hotel operation.

The food is amazing as always, but it is always packed and very loud. Well, that's just how it is. You have to go through it, as a hearing-impaired person you stop listening at some point. But you have to go through it, unfortunately the weather is no longer suitable for sitting out. Then maybe it would have been better. Still a great place, the service is quick and friendly. Had dinner in the restaurant for the first time today. It was very busy, so always make a reservation! Not a long wait for food. Fast service and super nice, funny staff. Food was great!!! Will definitely come back. Greek is highly recommended.

Spontaneous visit to the Waldschenke, 6:30 p.m. outside terrace was already pretty full but still managed to get a seat for two people, the drinks were delivered promptly after ordering. For food we had the village plate and the Crete plate, both were very good, and the food was delivered quickly. To finish off with an ouzo or liqueur. I can really recommend it without hesitation!

Food great - no overnight stay I've been coming here regularly for 9 years, and during Corona it was great to be able to get food here. The Waldschenke got us through Corona well. I love the food here and the staff, they are all without exception nice and love their jobs; It's always full here, everyone is running, full of energy and yet they talk to you briefly and ask you about things you've told at some point. So attentive and always up for a joke. Ordering food over the phone is difficult because it's always busy, but I like to order it on the spot and wait... - they take good care of you while you wait. If I come spontaneously with my girlfriend, they always have a place for us. Waldschenke Best!!! Thank you!!!

The Greek food is great! The order is taken and delivered quickly. The ambience is always clean, as are the sanitary facilities. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The outside terrace is large and always clean. The parking spaces are large enough to easily park.

We've eaten here a few times and we just have to thank you in this way. This service in this restaurant is unique!! The most recommended Greek restaurant far and wide. Go and enjoy the evening.

Sensationally good Greek food, from gyros to liver...Very cozy beer garden...Staff super friendly... The only point of criticism is that the kids didn't like the ice cream so much, so maybe the manufacturer should be reconsidered...

The hustle and bustle that used to exist has subsided somewhat and makes a visit to the Waldschenke much more pleasant. The menu offers something for everyone, whether Greek or German. From gyros to roast beef, so to speak. We now enjoy going there again.

It is a very popular place, it is always full of people, this speaks for itself that the food is good, the hospitality is great and everything is ok.

Telephone reservations were botched, but luckily there was a spot. The noise level in the restaurant is incredibly loud. Food OK. Lots of meat, tomato rice and tzatziki - Greek standard. We also had a fish plate with various fish, but everything was fried in breading and greasy. We were disappointed given the recessions.

Super nice and uncomplicated contact by phone in advance to make a reservation. Check in was also very easy, but the room was great and clean, everything was tidy and the mattresses were soft but comfortable. We felt very comfortable and would come back at any time.

After the old review was deleted, here again for the owners who obviously don't think much of criticism: We were in the restaurant with 5 people on June 1st, 2023. Various dishes were ordered, including a gyros plate. The waiting time was 45 minutes and the restaurant was moderately full. The service was ok, nothing more, nothing less. The entire dish was lukewarm rather than really hot. The fries weren't crispy, the tzatziki was rather bland. The meat, however, was dry and fried to death. All in all a disappointing evening regarding the food. We wouldn't come back.

Even when it's busy, you don't feel like it's taking long if you want to order something or wait for your food. The atmosphere is friendly, bright and with constantly changing decorations. The tables and chairs are comfortable and care is taken to ensure that they are clean for the next guest. We would love to come back 😁

Went here for dinner on a Friday evening and luckily had a reservation. It was completely full. Despite everything, the service was very nice and the food was very tasty and plentiful. We really liked the fact that there was a self-service salad buffet.

Hervorragendes Haus inkl. Restaurant - alles super ordentlich - sehr gute Essensauswahl und Getränke. Beim Campari-Spritz muss es ein großes Rotweinglas werden mit Eiswürfeln. Der Service war super schnell, ordentlich und gewissenhaft. Wir sind auf Durchreise und haben’s rundherum genossen hier einzukehren.

Wir waren gestern zum Abendessen in der "Waldschenke". Es war ein sehr netter Abend, das Essen war sehr gut. Den Salat kann man sich selbst am gut befüllten Salatbuffet zusammenstellen. Die Getränke waren sehr schnell am Tisch. Das Personal war jederzeit freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch der obligatorische Ouzo hat nicht gefehlt. Die Preise sind voll in Ordnung. Auch sonst hat alles gestimmt - deutlicher Daumen hoch 👍- klare Empfehlung. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Sehr freundliche Begrüßung, aufmerksames und zuvorkommende Bedienungen, schon alleine deswegen sollte man mal vorbeischauen. Das Essen ist super, Portionen genau richtig, habe mir noch eine Vorspeise mit meiner Schwester geteilt (panierter Schafskäse, auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen). Mein Junior hatte als Einziger "schwäbische Küche" und hat sich das Schnitzel ausgesucht, er war begeistert. Sämtliche Teller und Platten waren nachher komplett leer. 🙂 Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Danke für den schönen Abend.

Selbst wenn das Lokal bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt ist wird man immer noch mit Super Qualität bedient. Freundliche Bedienung sowieso immer. Gibt's so nicht mehr oft. Großes Lob !

Einfach Bombastisch. Wenn möglich würde ich 10 Punkte vergeben. Service der Hammer super freundlich und der Kunde steht hier an erster Stelle. Geschmacklich ist es super. Auswahl super. Salatbuffet gute Auswahl. Hingehen und genießen. Reservieren unbedingt erforderlich sonst wird es schwierig. PS. Versucht das Gyros mit Metaxa Sauce

Hervorzuheben ist das Essen. Absolut top 👍🏻. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant ist schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Im Sommer kann man auch draußen sitzen. Parkplätze sind genügend vorhanden. Da wir unsere Weihnachtsfeier hier hatten, konnte ich nahezu alle speisen der Karte sehen und probieren. Es war alles sehr lecker. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Essen super und für den Preis okay,doch leider ist es ziemlich überfüllt und man hat kaum Platz mit den Stühlen. Mir kommt es auch so vor als würde man wollen das man schnell isst und Platz für den nächsten macht.
