Yuma Sushi & Tapas in Aalen

There was a lot of indoor space, and although it wasn't as good as Japanese sushi, it was a decent sushi restaurant in Europe. If I ever visit nearby, I would go back.

This restaurant is completely overrated. I'm definitely never going back. 1. As soon as we sat down at the table, it smelled funny. We realized the table had probably been "cleaned" with an old rag, because the entire place smelled bad. 2. The windowsill next to the bench was covered in dust and cobwebs. It hadn't been cleaned in a long time. 3. I had the "Yuma Curry." I was hoping for a lot of vegetables, but it only came with two small slices of carrot, two small slices of zucchini, and a few lettuce leaves on the same plate. So that's called a "curry with vegetables and salad"? 4. Drinks are overpriced.

Price performance is completely excessive… We won’t visit again… Old review Food was good but too expensive for lunch. Drink 8 EUR, normal size only. Service takes a bit of a wait. Very nice and modern restaurant but very expensive

The food is always worth a visit and we have eaten there very, very often. For some time now, however, it has been noticeable that the portions are decreasing and that savings are being made on sushi, for example salmon or tuna is replaced with cucumber or similar or that previously 3 and now only 2 pieces of tuna etc. are served on the plate. Some people may not notice this, but given the prices, this shouldn't be the case. First the prices were increased at the end of the Corona period, then the 19% VAT instead of the 7% VAT was added to the increased prices on top. Afterwards there was another increase and now there are significant savings in the use of goods and some of them are replenished with “decoration”. Please reconsider the strategy and don't think that this will go unnoticed. Otherwise highly recommended and actually 5 stars, but unfortunately only 3 for the reasons mentioned above.

Since the opening, the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly, especially when it comes to fish... but I'm not surprised, I just happened to see the delivery and the corresponding "fish and seafood"... it's a shame, I'll definitely not eat here anymore, you can get better quality at the weekly market.

Unfortunately there was no congratulations or anything similar (at the Delphi, for example, you get dessert and music...) Overall we were satisfied and would come again 👍

The sushi selection is huge, so there really is something for every taste. We particularly liked the opportunity to put together our own individual plate - so we could enjoy exactly what we wanted. Both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions were creative, balanced and perfectly prepared. A real highlight for everyone who appreciates good drinks with their food. A big compliment also goes to the service: the service was extremely friendly and attentive, just the right amount. We felt well looked after without it seeming intrusive. The only drawback (but that's complaining at a very high level): the volume level at the beginning when the restaurant was still full. Overall, an all-round successful experience – we are already looking forward to our next visit!

We reserved a table for 9 people, the service staff was friendly and the drinks came promptly. Unfortunately, out of 9 glasses, we had 3 dirty glasses. Furthermore, the food was not served at the same time, so that out of 9 people, four had already eaten by the time the remaining 5 food was brought to the table. A social fiasco Cleanliness should be the be-all and end-all. That doesn't mean good service. The taste of the food was ok. The tables could be placed more airily so that you don't always have to block the chair from the neighboring table. Not even the service staff came through to serve properly. Less is often more. Conclusion: I cannot recommend this restaurant under these circumstances.

We have been there twice now and have been surprised each time by the consistently high quality. The prices are a little higher, but definitely justified. Tempura shrimp was cold and sticky. An absolute disappointment for the price. The dish should be served with wakame. Was only brought upon request. I was here some time ago and I have to say the quality suffers. I probably won't come again. Price and performance no longer match, which is a shame.

I think the menu is particularly inspired when it comes to fusion cuisine and there are some things that aren't available everywhere. Ultimately, everything I ordered wasn't seasoned well or prepared sensibly: sugar syrup in the cocktail completely at the bottom of the glass with the last sip, no tube or something similar to stir through, ceviche without lime juice was way too spicy, etc. The service was nice, but there was hardly any more towards the end. The shop is also comfortably furnished, but then they have the cheapest paper napkins in a small paper bag at the table. I was rather disappointed for the prices quoted.
