A wonderful evening in a truly fantastic restaurant! The food was simply delicious, fresh, and prepared with love. We'd especially like to highlight the incredibly friendly and patient service – despite our large, lively group, the team was always attentive and welcoming. We stopped for dinner. The food was excellent, but the service was poor. We started eating and they didn't bring us water or wine, there were no tablecloths, and there was no bread. Even worse, years ago things were much better. Today, unfortunately, not even the price. Never mind.

As always, Maria and Giovanni prepared a wonderful evening for us. The food was fantastic.

Definitely the best Italian restaurant in the area! Super friendly service, beautifully decorated, and delicious food! The drinks were also very good, and the pizzas were incredibly tasty! The pasta could have used a bit more salt, but when we pointed this out, the waitress immediately offered to take it back. Really extremely friendly and attentive! The style of the restaurant in the former factory is also really nice. We always enjoy coming back.

Very good food in a very pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is located in an old locomotive shed that has been beautifully renovated. If you look closely, you can even see the old tracks still lying in the ground. Unfortunately, parking is limited, as many of the spaces in front of the building are privately rented.

Food was spot on. Tasty, delicious, wanting more. Great menu. Speak to waiters to get recommendations. Only slight downside is waiting times. But then cos place was 90%full. Atmosphere ok, but due to numerous conversations, you get that blocked in effect. Definitely a place to return to.

Once upon a time, it felt like Bella Italia there — you could taste a bit of Italy in every bite. But now? It’s a circus… completely adrift. Yesterday, I went there for dinner with my wife. It had been a very long time since we were kids-free and finally had some time just for the two of us. So we thought, let’s do it like in the old days — go somewhere romantic, dress up, throw on a nice shirt, and feel a little important again. And that’s exactly what we did… until, well, everything was ruined. We arrived, the staff was very friendly, and we got a table. We ordered bruschetta to start, then a steak (medium-well), a pizza, and some drinks. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get the bruschetta — and that was after asking for it twice. Then, almost 2 hours later, after asking again, a clearly annoyed waiter finally showed up, and didn’t even believe that we had ordered so long ago. Five minutes later, we got an undercooked pizza and a steak that was rare, basically soaking in blood — definitely not the medium-well we had asked for. We ate a little bit of both dishes and called it a night. In the meantime, I think they realized how badly they’d messed up, so they covered part of the bill and told us the drinks were on the house. Anyway… sorry to say it, but what used to be our favorite spot is now one to avoid.

UPDATE 3/14/25 Courteous staff. The table space was 🙈 terrible, as the staff stood right next to us and talked, which made me uncomfortable as a guest. I felt like I was being watched while eating. After the starter I said the cutlery was needed, but it ended up in the clean cutlery drawer. It does not work. Starter delicious and pizza too. OCTOBER '24 An old factory building, the background noise is loud, nicely furnished, sometimes the chairs are too close together. Staff very friendly. Pizza was very good, lasange was a clear portion for small eaters. Taste good. Noodle very good, portion generous.

Even though we arrived shortly before closing time, we received a very warm welcome. The food was simply fantastic and we really enjoyed it. I highly recommend this restaurant!"!!!!!

Food was ok but nothing special for the price, had pasta with beef fillet tips, very dry, tough meat, the pasta was good. Mixed salad for 7.50 just a few lettuce leaves. The service was nice

An excellent restaurant This Italian restaurant impresses across the board! The atmosphere is stylish and inviting, with elegant furnishings that invite you to linger. The quality of the food is particularly impressive. This time I had the pasta from the Parmesan loaf - a real taste experience! The pizzas that I tried on my previous visits are also highly recommended: crispy edges, perfect base, fresh ingredients and ideally seasoned. Here you can see that quality is very important. In addition to the excellent food, the restaurant also scores with a great location and very good public transport connections, which make the visit particularly pleasant. Conclusion: If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a stylish ambience, you should definitely try this restaurant!

The owner and waitresses are friendly and considerate. The price is reasonable and there is always space (I have been there many times in the last few months and there has always been plenty of space). Good wine, excellent all-dente pasta and often extra specials of the day. The place is easily accessible and the parking lot is just a few meters from the entrance (a plus for people with reduced mobility). In summer, tables are set up outside. Particularly noteworthy (in contrast to many restaurants) is the speed of service despite the large selection of menus.

Great concept of converting old railway architecture into a catering business. Of course the food was also very good, I would love to come back.

The map is not small, but it is a bit confusing. Many dishes with fish. Portion sizes are sometimes absolutely not price appropriate. Good taste. It is very elegantly made. Unfortunately the service was a bit grumpy. It's much more comfortable downstairs than upstairs. One of the employees changed a light spot because it was blinding someone in every direction. Unfortunately, a tip or question from a guest about the direction was met with a stupid answer.

Food and service really exceptionally great. Price performance is simply great. I can really only recommend it. Keep it up. Location lovingly furnished and made the best of it.

Addendum: We gave L’Osteria another chance and have to say that we don’t regret it. Everything was really excellent, both the food and the service. Maybe it was because the bosses took care of everything themselves. We had the pistachio pasta and the steak with shitake, both of which were really excellent. I hope that the quality remains so high and doesn't decline again. However, one small point of criticism remains: the seating is very narrow, so that you almost have the feeling that the table next to you belongs to your own.

Great original Italian food (not just the standards of pizza, pasta and desserts) also served by Italians. Atmosphere more chic than cozy, well suited for business meals. Pizzas were large, pasta seemed rather small on the large plates, but was enough to fill us up.

We were there yesterday for the first and last time. The waitress with the beautiful black curly hair was really nice, but the other, slightly older lady with grayer hair unfortunately ruined everything for us. We paid, gave the usual 10% tip even though we weren't really blown away by it (food + ambience), were first looked at stupidly, then "threw" the money into their wallets. We didn't need the receipt, she crumples it up and curses loudly in Italian instead of saying goodbye properly like any normal person. Sorry if your 10% tip isn't enough. Maybe you shouldn't work with people when you're like that, or at least don't curse them directly to their face. It really annoyed us a lot, I'm also sorry that I'm writing about the recession here now, but maybe something will change. The 3 star service is only for the other service, she deserves 5 stars. :) The food itself was quite good, a bit lacking in the spinach ravioli, but that's a matter of opinion. The balsamic sauce that is on the bruschetta is super delicious, we want it too. Wine was also very good. There are a few meatless dishes, so you won't starve if you're a vegetarian :)

A pizza the size of a wagon wheel. Too much for a woman. Good taste. The advantage is that you can have half of each prepared differently.

Bruschetta was already black and there were simply chopped tomatoes on it, no garlic, no herbs, you didn't taste the olive oil either - I've eaten better in a beer garden. Pizza was also pretty black on the edge and my daughter didn't eat it. So with the prices and everything fancy, I imagined something better. That was definitely the first and last time.

Not very comfortable due to the architecture - very loud. Food is very good. Prices for wine are slightly higher. When it comes to staff, it depends on which waiter you catch and whether you are served attentively or not.

Very nice family-run restaurant with VERY good cuisine. That's why it's very crowded during the week and therefore a bit noisy.

The location is really nice, the people are really nice too. But unfortunately the food is rather okay and quite expensive. I was here for the second time and both times the food was okay, but not a special highlight. There are better restaurants in Aalen.

I ordered sardines as an appetizer, I expected a bit of culinary art, but for the first time in my life, someone brought me canned food on a plate for €18. The second course was ravioli with spinach, greasy, tasteless. As a bonus, the server forgot an item from the order twice, leaving empty plates and cups lying around the whole time. The price-performance ratio is absolutely disastrous. Scented overpriced misery.

Food is always at a TOP level. The parmesan spaghetti in particular is something special. All in all, they offer good food at normal prices in a nice atmosphere.

Here the price-performance ratio is in no way correct. They describe themselves as fine dining, but they are far from it. The food was okay, but not high Italian art. The prices are unjustified. The service is a disaster. The dishes from the starter were still on the table when the main course arrived and the dishes were not cleared away afterwards. No demand for espresso grappa etc. Hospitality nil. Had a 60 euro voucher, 50 was just deducted from the bill, so you still feel cheated. No apology, nothing. All in all not a successful evening. Excellent food and great service - we had a (spontaneous) wonderful evening. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back.

The food is always very tasty. I really enjoy every visit. The wine, the lasagne is my personal favorite and the atmosphere is nice.

Old locomotive shed or factory, cool location. A good view of the kitchen is possible through the large windows. Some of the prices are high, but also really tasty.

Very good upscale Italian food. My wife and I spontaneously got a table at 9 p.m. The service was very attentive. Food came quickly and was excellent. We'd love to come back.

When we gave our review a year ago it was 5 stars. Today we unfortunately have to give a new rating with only three stars. For the following reasons: Price performance is now far too expensive. The portions are getting smaller. The salmon tartare was tasteless, given the price it's annoying if you have to add seasoning. Things went wrong. Special requests were forgotten. That would all be okay. But with the high prices everything has to be perfect.

The pizza was missing some spice. Place was slightly cool.

Everything fits here, friendly staff, great ambience and delicious Italian cuisine. We always enjoy coming here, so we would be happy to recommend it to others

Service und Essen - wirklich PERFEKT

Sowohl geschmacklich als auch die Atmosphäre ist hier top. Service auch überragend, kann man nur empfehlen.

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend. Die Antipasti waren vielfältig und alle lecker. Auch das Saltimbocca a la Romana hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Da es sehr voll war, war es schwierig für den Service und die Küche alles im Blick zu behalten - in Summe hat es aber alles trotzdem noch sehr gut geklappt. Komme gerne wieder.

Service konnte leider so gut wie kein Deutsch, dazu zu haben sie von unseren zwei bestellten Pizzen nur eine serviert, die andere kam viel später da sie vergessen wurde aber die Pizza war sehr lecker.

Sehr gutes italieniaches Lokal , service perfetto Küche set autentisch nicht der übliche italiener ! Hier vesteht man was von seinem Handwerk sehr fein ! Wir kommen wieder ,,😊

Authentische, italienische Küche auf hohem Niveau und immer ein Genuss! Gleichbleibende und hohe Qualität; dieser Tage eine Seltenheit. Kompetentes Personal und eine ausgefallene Speisekarte! Hier ist für jeden was dabei und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut angebracht, verstehe hier die Bewertungen teilweise überhaupt nicht. Komme selbst aus der Gastro, gute Ware hat eben seinen Preis. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne her!

Sehr leckere Pizzen und Bruschetta. Aufgrund von Allergenen bestellen wir stets ohne Käse. Bisher gab es dabei noch keinerlei Probleme und die Pizza war auch ohne den Mozzarella sehr lecker. 1-Stern Abzug in Service für die langen Wartezeiten bei der Abholung

Ambiente war gut, Bedienung auch sehr nett. Das Essen war für meinen Geschmack mittelmäßig, mein rib ey war in einer Butter Soße ertrunken. Daher kann ich den Geschmack nicht beurteilen. Das restliche essen war gut Preis Leistung fand ich etwas zu teuer.

Da ist mehr sehen und gesehen werden.. Was man total vermisst,ist die italienische Freundlichkeit, ein Lächeln oder Spaß.. Man merkt den Angestellten an, dass sie mehr Konkurrenz unter einander gibt. Zum Essen muss ich leider sagen, dass es uns nicht geschmeckt hat. Pizza war sehr,sehr kross, die Spaghetti geschmacklos.. leider zu teuer und der Keller gab keine Rechnung als wir bar zahlen wollen.. Geht gar nicht..

Habe kurzfristig einen Tisch für 2 Personen reserviert. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man muss nicht lange auf das bestellte Essen warten. Preise zwar etwas gehobener, dafür waren die Portionen, für mein Empfinden, sehr üppig. Alles in allem nur weiterzuempfehlen!
