Waldstube Eichenhof in Aalen

Wir hatten reserviert, hatte das Gefühl, das war eine gute Idee. Essen war super! Ich hatte den Rostbraten und als Nachtisch Espresso mit Vanilleeis. Aus meiner Sicht eine gehobene Variante des Rostbraten mit einer Spitzen Soße und hausgemachten Spätzle. Service war sehr freundlich und kompetent. Aufgrund der Betriebsamkeit mussten wir teilweise kurz warten. Daher vier Sterne. Wir saßen draußen in einem sehr angenehmen Ambiente.

Der Wurstsalat war sehr ölig und am Saibling mit Grmüse war zu viel Knoblauch.

Zufällig mal zum Cafe im Eichenhof. Sonntag Nachmittag super freundlich und angenehm ruhig.

Absolut schnuffiges, erholsames Ambiente. Backhendel Salat und Kalbsrahmbraten waren topp. Gut besucht und trotzdem keine Hektik.

Meine erste Google-Rezension fällt leider drastisch negativ aus. Mein heutiger Besuch dauerte exakt 10 Sekunden, bevor mir unmissverständlich klargemacht wurde, dass man hier anscheinend kein Interesse an weiteren Gästen hat. Auf meine Frage nach einem Mittagstisch für eine Person wurde ich – ohne dass die Dame an der Rezeption überhaupt aufgestanden wäre – mit einem knappen „Wir sind ausgebucht, schönen Tag noch“ abgefertigt. Als Branchenkenner weiß ich: Es gibt immer eine Lösung, wenn man will. Hier fehlte der Wille jedoch gänzlich. Weder wurde eine Wartezeit angeboten, noch ein Platz am Tresen in Erwägung gezogen. Dass drei Viertel der Tische zum Zeitpunkt meiner Abweisung leer waren, setzt dem Ganzen die Krone auf. Wer Wert auf echte Gastfreundschaft legt, sollte diesen Ort meiden, sofern er nicht vorab reserviert hat.

Der Zwiebelrostbraten, auf den Punkt gebraten, super zartes Fleisch, sehr zu empfehlen ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic food, ambience and service

The friendly service has unfortunately declined. We've eaten here several times with family, for big birthdays, and other private celebrations. Since then, we've always been treated very kindly, with or without reservations. Recently, however, we've been repeatedly turned away quite rudely by the lady behind the counter. Last time, we were told in a stressed, annoyed tone that 'the kitchen was already overloaded with the food we'd already ordered' – with this sentence, we were "waved away." The dining room was only half full...

Fresh salad, excellent food, good friendly service, well-chilled beer, lovely beer garden, always happy to come back!

First, they made us a reservation for the wrong day, and then we had to wait over an hour and a half for our food, and then the salad arrived... even though not all the tables were occupied?! The "large" portion of cheese spaetzle could probably have been handled by any toddler, which is a really steep price for almost €16. The food was generally okay, but the wait and the price are just too long to eat...

Good restaurant but doesn't mention that you need to book and arriving on a Sunday at 6 p.m., we couldn't get our food despite the space available. We were told there were too many people and not enough people in the kitchen to provide service! We were only able to get a drink

The food was truly excellent! The indoor and outdoor areas were very lovingly designed. The outdoor area, in particular, is a great place to sit and linger. One star deducted because we had to wait up to 30 minutes for drinks and even longer for the food on both evenings.

Lunch at the Gasthof Eichenhof – highly recommended! We spontaneously stopped by the Gasthof Eichenhof in Aalen for lunch – and were delighted. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we received a friendly welcome and were seated without any problems. The staff is attentive and very courteous, and the wait times for food were pleasantly short. For starters, we had a creamy white asparagus soup with wild garlic croutons – a real hit in terms of taste. Afterwards, we opted for hearty classics from the snack menu: Swabian and Swiss sausage salad, perfectly seasoned and served with fresh farmhouse bread. Conclusion: Great food, friendly service, fair prices – a visit is always worth it!

Had dinner in this restaurant yesterday. The food was okay, the ambience was also quite good, but the service was subpar. We were served by a blonde, older waitress who had an almost rude tone of voice. who had customers. You can only see such underground service in Germany. Unthinkable/unbearable in other places!

Went for dinner yesterday with 5 people, fast and friendly staff. Salad came after 10 minutes and the main course was served shortly afterwards. Great pork medallions, the sauce is nice and thick and really a dream with delicious spaetzle. It's been a long time since I've eaten this well and no other restaurant in the area can keep up with it. We'll definitely be back.

I was a guest there at the weekend and invited to a funeral coffee. The service staff was very impersonal. When we got there the waitress didn't make any effort to show us the room where we should go. It's a shame, in such a situation I would have wished for a warmer welcome. We still enjoyed the cake.

We were there for the first time as we are not from the area and were very pleasantly surprised. I haven't eaten so well in a long time and my two children loved it too. We were in a larger group eating in the restaurant, so reservations should definitely be made. The service is friendly and attentive right from the start. The dishes are all very tasty and of high quality. The portions are also plentiful. In terms of price, I would classify it as slightly more expensive than other restaurants. The restaurant is nicely decorated and even when it's full, it's actually not too loud for conversation.

We (2 people) were there on Sunday at 7 p.m. and didn't have a reservation. We stood at the counter waiting for 5 minutes and were ignored. I then asked (and got an annoyed look back) if we could sit at one of the empty tables (there were a lot of empty tables) The waitress then said: No, unfortunately we are fully booked. Wasn't very friendly

I dined here with friends, we had a nice seat in the beer garden. The food is extremely tasty, unfortunately some main courses are simply too small or not enough. The service is good, the atmosphere is great.

my second visit there, the rooms are modern WiFi, it's quiet in a 30s zone, the parking spaces are a bit tight because the restaurant is always busy. Room was ok, mattress good, TV a bit small for today, the toilet was too narrow for me personally, you had to squeeze between the glass door and the sink, almost 70's construction but modernly furnished. The food was ok, not quite as good as last time, the salad was visually delicious and beautiful, the Viennese veal schnitzel came in two small pieces, the meat was a bit dry, the fries, although visually good, tasted like nothing If they were out of the oven, they would just be soft, not even crispy. Even though all the fries went back, there was no discount. Unfortunately, Afri Cola is very common here in the area, it's too sweet for me, but there are other alternatives to drink. -1 star because of narrow toilet -1 star because of the fries and the limited parking space for hotel guests.

The ambience in the Waldstube Eichenhof is tasteful and cozy. The menu is varied and also ideal for vegetarians and vegans. I was really impressed with the celery schnitzel. Excellently done. Great quality. Price-performance ratio is also excellent. Friendly, extremely correct staff and quick service. There's nothing wrong with it. We'd love to come back.

Ein super schönes klassisches Restaurant was einen herzlich willkommen heißt. Das ist 10/10 und mehr Personal 100% zuvorkommend und richtig flott. Die Waldstube Eichenhof ist ein kleiner Diamant denn man aufsuchen sollte. Mein persönlicher Geheimtipp.

Weihnachtsfeier von der Arbeit in der Hütte . Essen wäre gut gewesen aber durch selbst Service kalt und Gemüse teilweise zu roh. Ambiente sehr schön Bedienungen für uns ein Lob!

Dieses Restaurant kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen, die Auswahl ist perfekt und die Gerichte sind megalecker. Der Service ist top, man wartet nicht lange. Der Preis ist im normalen Bereich würde ich sagen. Alles in allem tatsächlich 5 Sterne wert 👍.

Auch Nachfragen zum Gericht wurden offen und ausführlich beantwortet. Klar, das hat n bisschen seinen Preis, aber (!) das Gesamtpaket stimmt und da ist der Preis mehr als angemessen. Ich werd sicher nochmal vorbeischauen!

Personal war freundlich. Die "große Portion" Käsespätzle und Serviettenknödel fanden wir recht klein. Geschmacklich war es jedoch gut. Wir saßen draußen in der Ecke von einem alten Häuschen, dort roch es stark nach Urin? Tisch 94. Komisch.

Das Essen ist lecker und schön angerichtet. Der Service ist nicht der Beste, etwas verträumt, es wurde vergessen eine Nach-Bestellung zu bringen. Das Essen ist relativ teuer, die Getränke sind viel zu teuer. Eine Flasche Wasser kostet 6,20 EUR.

Essen Top, Service Katastrophe! Wir waren als Familie wochentags hier zum Essen. Das Ambiente und das Essen waren toll. Dafür gibt es zwei Sterne. Allerdings war der Service wirklich schlecht. Die Beilage konnte nicht gewählt werden (Kässpätzle statt Spätzle gingen nicht). Wie man seinen Zwiebelrostbraten gerne hätte (Medium, durch, etc...), wurde nicht erfragt. Was uns aber wirklich sehr geärgert hat, war die Tatsache, dass unsere Bestellung vergessen wurde und wir knapp 1,5 Stunden (mit zwei Kindern, 2 und 4 Jahre alt) warten mussten und es sich niemand von sich aus für den Fehler (Drucker defekt?) entschuldigt hat. Auf Nachfrage unsererseits wurden uns dann zwei Getränke nicht berechnet. Sehr schade und leider nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

Hervorragendes Essen & sehr guter Service. Immer wieder einen Besuch wert! Wir hatten Zwiebelrostbraten, die Pilz-Tagliatelle, und den Kalbsrahmbraten. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, brachte noch einen Löffel zur Tagliatelle, erfragte Folgewünsche und erkundigte sich ob das Essen schmeckt. Sehr großes Lob. Geschmacklich fehlte dem Kalbsrahmbraten leider etwas Würze und Kreativität, die Zwiebelrostbraten jedoch waren perfekt. Die Pilz-Tagliatelle waren mit sehr vielen Pilzen, wie man es sich wünscht und hervorragend gewürzt. Sehr schönes Ambiente, Hintergrundmusik in guter Lautstärke für meinen Geschmack nur etwas dicht besetzt.

Leider habe ich das Essen noch nicht probiert sah vorzüglich aus werde bald wieder vorbei kommen und auch die Küche testen 😉

Es ist immer wieder eine Freude in der Waldstube ein sehr gutes Abendessen einzunehmen. Das Team ist schnell, aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Und die Gericht auf hohem Niveau. Hingehen lohnt sich immer - reservieren ist unabdingbar.

Habe ein Tisch für 2 Personen auf 19.30 Uhr reserviert. Wurden sozusagen unfreundlich empfangen und an einen Tisch mit anderen Gästen dazu gesetzt obwohl noch mehrere Tische frei waren. Als die Gäste vom Tisch weg waren hat sich dann noch das Personal dazu gesetzt und bei uns am Tisch gegessen. Das Essen war ok aber kein Grund zum wiederkommen. Haben uns sehr unwohl bzw nicht willkommen gefühlt.

Bisschen schade wie unflexibel man ist. Für ne kurze Brautentführung gab es weder Longdrinks, noch ne Flasche Martini oder ähnliches (um 16:30Uhr). Die meisten Gastronomien in denen ich gearbeitet hat, wäre das nie ein Problem gewesen. Kellnerin war nett:)

Wir sind seit es die Waldstube gibt, immer mal wieder gerne hingegangen. Aber der Standard hat deutluch nachgelassen. Das im Zuge der Energiekrise die Preise steigen - ok. Dafür sollte aber der Standard nicht sinken. Das fängt beim Salat an und hört beim Seibling, der mit Linsen auf der Karte steht, aber ohne Linsen kommt, auf. Wir haben gestern auch auf unsere bestellten Getränke vergeblich gewartet. Den Geschäftsführer sieht man auch nicht mehr. Vielleicht liegt es daran...naja. Wir werden dort so schnell nicht mehr hingehen.

Sehr schöner Biergarten. Parksituation am Mittwoch, 14.06.23 gg. 19 Uhr sehr schwierig.
