Great restaurant in the southern part of the city. You should especially try the tuna steak!

Everything fine. Good beds, very good breakfast, nice reception, very good service. Location right in the city center, parking space in front of the house, small drawbacks because cars and mopeds were always loud at the intersection until around midnight. Price-performance ratio fits. Gladly again.

Yesterday we were at the Douris Rouge in Rösrath for the first time. Great ambience, great service, and the food not only pampers the eyes but also the senses. Clear recommendation, we would love to come back there again and again. Small menu with changing dishes, exceptional and very tasty. Great wine selection, not everything is on the wine list, just ask for the manager's recommendation.

Location is very nice, the food is ok, but simply too expensive for the level offered (€34 for a tough duck or €18 for a desert are “sporty”), the service is slow and inattentive. Overall not recommended.

Very pleasant ambience, very friendly staff, the food was of very good quality and tasted excellent, and the wine selection was good and reasonably priced. This restaurant is definitely recommended.

Was ok. Ate various tarte flambées. The taste is sometimes bland and delicious.

Overall great restaurant. Definitely recommended. Food was very good. Service staff was MOSTLY friendly but service speed was slow. One improvement area can be that the staff can take negative comments (about the slow service speed mainly) more gracefully. when confronted about the slow service speed the answer I was given was that they have 40 people to serve (which should be normal in a restaurant:-) ).

We went to a cooking class at Capricorn [i] Aries today, and all we can say is, it was fantastic. Very friendly people and great cooking tips, and to top it all off, a delicious four-course meal with wine pairing. We'll do it again 😍

I wrote a good review a while ago which I deleted today. Mr. Kohnen (owner) is looking for friendly employees. But he should be friendly to the guests himself. On Wednesday we felt his very unfriendly side. I arrived there with my disabled husband at 11:55 am. Instead of being kindly assigned a table to us, we were told that it would open at 12 p.m. and the hour would also be outside. When I pointed out that it would be nice at 5 minutes before 12, I received the very unfriendly reply "yes, but not 12 o'clock" One thing is certain for us after this unpleasant treatment: we will definitely never eat in this restaurant again. Unfortunately you have to give one star but Mr. Kohnen doesn't deserve it because of his unfriendliness.

Sadly, you are a little late to enjoy this place, as they closed on the 29 of December 2024 - but you are right on time to learn about what separates a good restaurant from a great one. As someone who lives in the area, I walked past this place frequently. Every single time Beata and Robert greeted me with a friendly wave. On those days I worked far too late, had a bad mood, needed some quiet time, or got drenched in hydraulic fluid by my car, they were there for me and made sure I got a hot meal, a great wine, and felt like someone wanted to take care of me. Needless to say, all the other days I was feeling good and decided to drop by were absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious, their service was sincere, and the atmosphere magical. My favorite dish was their 'Wiener Schnitzel', paired with one of Robert's favorite wines. What set this place apart however, was the fact that you always felt like you were eating with friends. Few places manage to give you this feeling.
