The restaurant impresses with a small but carefully put together menu and excellent dishes. What is particularly impressive is the varied wine list and the first-class wine recommendations that go perfectly with the food. There is also a rustic, cozy atmosphere and an open, warm staff that rounds off the evening perfectly.

A beautiful oasis, full of French cuisine and culture. Designed and cooked with love. We would love to come back.

The food is very good, the portions are manageable

We've actually been here several times, but today was really a low light. - Two tarte flambées were burnt - a tarte flambée that was ordered as vegetarian suddenly had minced meat on it - a meatless dessert also had diced ham on it as a surprise topping - the waitress was unprofessional, rude and did not respond to hand signals - It took over 20 minutes to bring the bill, then I went to the checkout myself We've always been happy so far, but today it didn't work at all.

A wonderful restaurant with authentic French flair! Both the meat dish and the vegetarian dish were excellent - tasted great and prepared with a lot of love. We were also impressed by the ambience: stylish, cozy and full of charm. My absolute highlight was the dessert. The chocolate mousse with a few flakes of coarse salt came in a generous portion. The service was first class, attentive and friendly! An all-round successful evening. We will definitely be back :)

Ok for an overnight stay. Clean and friendly. It doesn't have any charm, but it's in the middle of the village.

Nice ambience, only the corridor to the toilet could be "hidden" with a curtain, for example. The staff was very attentive (e.g. the menu was opened directly to dessert after being presented again), the waiting times were short and the food (duck breast and gnocchi) was very tasty. Price-performance ratio is definitely right!

It used to be my favorite restaurant, but the "roasted potatoes" with the beef bourguignon were two completely tasteless, huge jacket potato halves with peel (???) and the side salad consisted exclusively of one type of leaf lettuce (some of the leaves were still wilted). I am very disappointed.

We went to Husky Karlsruhe for a children's birthday party and went on a husky hike. Afterwards we walked with 10 children and 3 adults to Am Albufer where we reserved a table in advance and were given perfect advice about food and drinks by email in advance. When we got there we found a very nicely prepared table, there were gummy bears ready for each child and the table was decorated with Smarties. The 10 boys made a fuss but were calmed down in a super friendly and humorous way. The tarte flambée we ordered was served quickly and tasted excellent. At the end, each child received a delicious scoop of ice cream. We can only recommend Am Albufer to everyone, not just for breakfast or ice cream, but also for a children's birthday party. Thank you

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend zu viert mit einer guten Küche in sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre. Zum Einstieg hatten wir einen tollen Crémant Rosé. Die Fischsuppe ist sehr zu empfehlen als Vorspeise - super lecker. Im Hauptgang hatten wir sehr unterschiedlich gewählt, aber alle waren zufrieden. Etwas schade sind die Zeitslots von 18-20 Uhr und 20-22 Uhr. Andererseits zeigt es auch, wie gefragt das Restaurant ist. Wir haben zu danken für einen sehr angenehmen Abend.
