Tolles Lokal mit verschiedenen Möglichkeiten (Terrasse draussen, Restaurant innen - und der kleine, aber wunderschöne Balkon im ersten Stock!) Freundlicher Service Leckere(s) Getränke und Essen immer wieder empfehlenswert!

Le Sud - durch Zufall in Frankreich gelandet. Service war gut jedoch in Person alleine, das Essen …Steak Frites war gut und sehr klassisch angerichtet schade das es kein Brot gibt, schade das es wenig französische Biere gibt sonst war alles einschließlich die Crêpe hervorragend und sehr gut zubereitet. Chapeau an die Küche

Update Jahre später: Ich kann das Restaurant leider nicht mehr empfehlen. Der Service ist schlecht (bringt die falschen Getränke, bringt sie Stunden später, bringt sie gar nicht) und das Essen ist wirklich nicht der französischen Küche gerecht geworden, zumindest der Coq au Vin ist ein Flop zu einem unverschämten Preis!! Essen werde ich dort sicher nicht mehr! Und schönes Ambiente finde ich auch woanders. Sehr schönes Ambiente im Innenhof, überschaubares Angebot an bretonischen Speisen, aber dafür sehr lecker! Zu empfehlen v.a. auch die Salate! Besonders im Sommer der perfekte Ort, um sich mal rauszunehmen, zu genießen.. daher nur zu empfehlen!

Wir waren begeistert! Wir hatten hier ein romantisches Valentinstags-Date. Es war bereits unser zweiter Besuch in diesem Restaurant. Sehr gutes französisches Essen und nettes Personal. Das Ambiente ist einfach wunderschön!

5 Sterne gab ich als ehemaliger Gault & Millau Testesser, 5 Sterne für ein Bistro, das nichts mehr als ein Bistro sein möchte, was will man mehr?

Wir hatten Coq au Vin und Ratatouille. Beides war hervorragend und lecker Cote du Rhone dazu. Das Ambiente ist ansprechend und die Bedienung hat Expertise. Der Koch kam an den Tisch um sich Feedback zu holen und hat uns etwas über die Zubereitung erzählt. Super toll, ich kann das Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen 👍

Sehr gepflegtes Restaurant mit sehr aufmerksamem und netten Service! Kleine Kinder sind wirklich auch willkommen. Die Crêpes und Galettes sind so, wie sie sein sollen - perfekt! Sonderwünsche werden gerne erfüllt! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Die Preise finde ich angemessen!

Wir waren an einem Samstagabend zu fünft dort. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre, fast wie in einem Wohnzimmer, hat uns sofort gefallen. Unser Kellner, ein Mann mit Brille, war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Gegessen haben wir Muscheln in Weißweinsoße, Egli-Knusperli, die vor allem mit dem Salat richtig gut waren, und Galettes, die wir ebenfalls empfehlen können. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Wir waren im Winter hier, um uns bei einem Tee aufzuwärmen und eine Kleinigkeit zu essen. Die Getränke und Crêpes kamen schnell, das Ambiente war sehr gemütlich und das Personal freundlich sowie aufmerksam. Gerne wieder.

Ich hatte dort einen sehr schönen Abend. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung, ohne lange Wartezeiten. Sowohl die Vorspeise wie auch der Hauptgang waren super lecker. Ich hatte nur einen kleinen Kritikpunkt und auch der wurde aufgenommen und weitergegeben. Die Atmosphäre und das Ambiente im Lokal sind ebenfalls stimmig. Für mich mehr als fünf Sterne. 🌟

Ein schöner Besuch und ein angenehmes Erlebnis im La Sud. Das Lokal ist elegant und bietet eine kultivierte Atmosphäre mit einer schönen Aussicht, die ein Gefühl von Behaglichkeit vermittelt. Die Speisekarte ist abwechslungsreich, das Essen köstlich und liebevoll präsentiert, was die Liebe zum Detail widerspiegelt. Wir probierten den Crêpe, der wirklich unverwechselbar war und genau nach unserem Geschmack gebacken wurde. Er hatte eine leichte Textur und einen köstlichen Geschmack. Auch der Kaffee war ausgezeichnet und hatte ein ausgewogenes Aroma. Der Service war freundlich, und das Personal war hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, was das Erlebnis noch angenehmer machte. Es ist ein schönes Lokal und einen Besuch wert, egal ob mit der Familie oder mit Freunden.

Köstliche und sehr reichhaltige Crêpes, tolle Atmosphäre mit Live-Musik. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Hatte ein hochfeinen Coq au vin. Schöne Atmosphäre im Garten. Freundlicher, schneller Service. Einziges Wehmutströpfchen ist dass im Garten geraucht wird, welches das Essen etwas verdirbt - ist aber nicht Schuld vom Restaurant. Sehr variiertes Menu, hier kann man sichert öfter speisen ohne das es monoton wird. Feine französische Küche mit regionalem Einschlag.

Ein gemütlicher Ort zum Verweilen. Das Ambiente und Atmosphäre sehr schön. Das Essen ist sowie die Snacks schmecken super. Die Bedienung ist toll. Eine gute Auswahl an Weinen. Sehr empfehlenswert. Schade, dass wir nicht früher hergefunden haben.

Früher noch besser, da bei den Galette ein Salat inclusive war und trotzdem heute viel teurer. Trotzdem für Menschen die glutenfrei essen müssen eine wunderbare Alternative, da die Galette grundsätzlich glutenfrei sind - und köstlich!

Leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung

We were there on Tuesday afternoon. We arrived at 12:30 p.m., but the food didn't arrive until an hour later. The whole dish was undercooked. The French fries were rather undercooked. The steak was still raw inside, despite the statement that it should have been cooked well. The food was generally lacking in seasoning. The pepper sauce wasn't particularly good; the peppercorns were completely missing; it looked like a ready-made sauce. The service didn't speak German very well and didn't inform the kitchen or us about the long wait. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

At Le Sud, I always feel a bit like I'm on vacation; I really like the atmosphere. The food and drinks are also to my taste; there's a very nice selection of crêpes and galettes, and other delicious treats. All this with friendly service and at fair prices.

Great service, dogs are very welcome with a bowl of water, small, very cozy terrace, and the pancakes are really DELICIOUS! Very reasonable prices compared to other surrounding restaurants. I highly recommend it.

Nice atmosphere, sitting on the terrace in spring. The gluten free galettes were tasty but the service made me worry about whether my galette had really been made in a safe way. I had emailed the place in advance and was reassured that they would do their best to make the galettes Coeliac-safe if I let them know when I am there, and that other Coeliacs have had no problem in the past. However, the waiter who I informed on the day didn't seem to really know(?) or take Coeliac seriously because though he just said yes when I asked it to be made Coeliac-safe, he later served me a tea with the tea bag on top of a cookie containing gluten.

Best crepe! We came here two days in a row because we just couldn't get enough... definitely recommend it. Whether it's crepes, galettes, or tarte flambée... everything is great!

We came to "Le Sud" around 2:30 p.m. during the week and had a delicious meal ("Knusperli" - very aromatic Lake Constance fish in beer batter and a hearty, crispy galette) in a very nice atmosphere. We also really enjoyed the local Pinot Blanc and the homemade lemonade. The service was very attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Nice atmosphere, a little noisy when crowded but not bad. Very nice service. Food tasted very good, just lacked a little seasoning for my taste. But my wife was very satisfied.

Delicious dinner on the terrace of restaurant Le Sud. We opted for a glass of white wine and tapas (several dishes were served as tapas). Service was friendly and super attentive; With the lovely weather to match, we had no further wishes!

Planless, overwhelmed young assistants in service. See nothing, bring nothing, or sometimes ordering twice at the same table without paying attention to the numbers. The most popular in general You should avoid “Ap.Spritts” here: Stale ready-made drink without fizz in bright orange, certainly anything but freshly mixed. Disgusting candy water.

Superfine food (Boeuf bourguignon, Galette Classique, Galette Complète, Galette Provençale), courteous service and a pleasant atmosphere. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately I have to give you one star for the actually good ambience, but the noise is unbearable! Above all, it would be appropriate to politely point out to certain guests that they shouldn't shout at the table like in an American country bunker a la Blues Brothers! A guest annoyed all the tables in a radius of what felt like 800 kilometers! Even in Texas you could still hear it! The staff just has to step in to reduce the already extremely high noise level! That's why we left Le Sud early! By the way, our vocal cords are still suffering today. Not to mention the ears! I had even made a show of stuffing a handkerchief in my ears to cushion the roar of a somewhat special guest. We won't be back until we can sit outside...

Very nice ambience. Food not recommended. I discovered Le Sud on my trip to Konstanz. I was there around 7 p.m., it was busy and several tables had been reserved. Some people received bread and herb butter after ordering (possibly just regulars), but I didn't get anything. I opted for snails as a starter and veal schnitzel with potato cakes. They would have come with fries, but for an extra charge I could have chosen the cakes. I should have left them alone. Snails had no taste and not a particularly pretty sight. Veal was tough and the potato cakes were greasy. The presentation was disgraceful. A shame considering the lovely ambience. The waiter was friendly but overwhelmed.

The food was very tasty! The only thing that could have been improved was the side salad, which was very reasonably priced, and perhaps a less watery sauce. The beef, however, was incredibly tender and overall, flavor-wise, hard to beat. Everything else was exceptionally delicious. The ambiance was also very pleasant; not too loud, and there was a generally calm atmosphere upstairs in the restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

A compelling new and expanded menu, a fantastic kitchen team. Super friendly service. Keep it up! For Christmas dinner, we had house-cured salmon, duck liver, beef bourguignon, Wiener schnitzel, and crème brulee. The ales were excellent! Fine wines to complement them. Absolutely excellent value for money. What more could you want?

When I'm in Konstanz, I often come to "Le Sud" to enjoy a galette. All the variations I've tried so far taste great! The moules & frites at the next table also looked very tasty. The restaurant is stylishly and comfortably furnished, the staff is very friendly. There were problems with card payment today and the gentleman who served me was very accommodating. Thank you very much, I'll definitely be back :-)!

Good food and very beautiful setting. The pancakes are tasty and hearty, and the meats are of good quality. The staff is very pleasant and the chef comes into the room from time to time.

A great French addition to Constance! I like it even better now that the indoor restaurant is upstairs and also has a terrace. The specialty here is savory galettes with buckwheat flour and sweet wheat crepes. But starters, fish and meat are also available alongside other desserts. The tea selection with one or two special teas is also commendable for tea drinkers - unfortunately this is forgotten in many restaurants and there is hardly any selection of teas. The service is very friendly. Conclusion: Highly recommended!

Super delicious food. We had the rump steak with fries and Café de Paris. It was simply a dream! The side salad was also just delicious. We'll definitely be back. Absolute recommendation!

A very cozy beer garden in front of the restaurant invited us to linger. We had bouillabaisse and gratinated goat cheese on a salad bouquet. Both were very tasty, we especially liked the aioli! The waitresses were very friendly! Recommended!

The food is ok, but nothing more. The garden is very nice to sit in. However, the service is subpar. Nobody has a plan, everything takes forever, the food arrived after 35 minutes and the drinks weren't there yet. And the place was only a third full. Every new guest waits and after an eternity is asked whether they have received a card yet, even though there is obviously none on the table. Unfortunately, just being hip isn't enough. When I had already paid (that's what they send you in for, by the way), the completely crazy boss suddenly stood in the garden and asked everyone if they had already ordered, even though most of them had food and/or drinks in front of them. Very bizarre experience overall.

We sat in the beer garden, which was very pleasant under the large trees given the current temperatures. Gallets, cider and salad, that was a little trip to Brittany for us. In Nantes the gallets are no better. :-) Thanks!!

Restaurant with a beautiful terrace under the trees. Impeccable service with at least one French speaking server. Good French cuisine and excellent Breton-style crepe. Note in the prices. I recommend.

Unfortunately, the schnitzel in the restaurant was cut far too thick and wasn't even pounded, which didn't meet the standard of an original Viennese schnitzel. However, the fries were good.

We have visited the restaurant twice so far and can recommend it. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is good, the food is tasty. From our point of view, the perches in the dough coating and the galettes are recommended.

A cute little place for French cuisine. Unfortunately my bouillabaisse was very bland and the only fish I found in it was salmon. I only tried a few spoonfuls. Despite vigorous seasoning, nothing more was possible. The service was ok and friendly.

At Le Sud you can get original Breton galettes. Our favorites are complète, forestière and ratatouille. The bouillabaisse is also recommended. For dessert, Crêpe Suzette (please register in advance, the chef fillets the oranges himself!)

Slow and unpleasant service. We tried to leave the place after 35 minutes of waiting for a beer and a cider when we were reprimanded.

35 minutes for 3 drinks despite 2 reminders, which would not have been so bad if the boss had been friendly: no apology from him and not a smile

It is first of all the terrace under the trees that attracts. Then we discover a French restaurant with French-speaking chef and waiters. The menu offers a mix of local and French specialties. A good place to have a pleasant time.

The restaurant looked inviting and you could sit under a beautiful tree. We happily entered the restaurant, ordered a bottle of wine, salad and a Wiener Schnitzel. The wine and salad came quickly, but after an hour we were still waiting for the main course. After asking, the waitress just said she had fixed it when I spoke to her again. In the end we paid after 2 hours without the Wiener Schnitzel and the waitress didn't care that we left the restaurant hungry. The location was cute, but the service was a disaster.

Nice, small restaurant in the pedestrian zone of Konstanz. The outdoor area is well attended and beautifully located. Nice service. Our food could have been better. I had a salad with goat cheese. The goat cheese was burnt so that only the crust was left, the sauce was watery and bland, the beetroot was not fresh but canned.

This French restaurant is a good address for fine cuisine. .. As for me, I ate mussels there...mhhhh....yum!!! What surprised me was the fact that there were hardly any guests there...

Why did you change so much? I have been eating with you for many years. Now: - there is no longer a side salad with the galette, but the price is more expensive! - almost no fish in the bouillabaise (it would have been more worthy of the name vegetable soup) - and in the Le Sud salad, no more artichokes, no more olives, and less beetroot. Please change that back, you are saving too much and the quality has suffered massively as a result. I'm very sad, I always enjoyed being with you so much.
