Always incredibly friendly staff. The food has always tasted good so far. Highly recommended. The only minus is the toilet in the basement... Soap and towels should be standard. But it's not that important for a snack.

Let's be honest: you can't go wrong with currywurst with fries. But that's exactly how I, as a (foreign) Bavarian, imagined a "Cologne snack bar". Nice, friendly, open and the dialect is priceless for me. Speaking of which: prices are humane and reasonable, almost cheap for Munich residents 😉 and the kebab has to be good. Was asked several times during my stay. Right next door there is also a good pub to drink a few Kölsche.

I recently visited Alte Metzgerei - Burger & Grill and had a fantastic experience. The burger was absolutely delicious, with perfectly seasoned meat and fresh toppings that made every bite enjoyable. I bought two shawarma sandwiches XL - wow, incredibly disappointing. There was very little meat in them; it was mostly bread with some vegetables and watery yogurt sauce with zero flavor. I didn't finish the sandwich. Terrible value for money and incredibly disappointing.

Had a kebab sandwich for €8, super small with little meat and unseasoned. Service unfriendly. This is once again a shop where you have the feeling that you are not wanted as a German. It's a shame, never again and not recommended.
