Tolles Lokal!!! Super leckere Shawarma und eine riesige Auswahl an Variationen – es gibt auch Grillgemüse, Pommes und hervorragendes Fleisch, das weder zu fettig noch zu salzig ist, was man sonst nur schwer findet. Wir holen hier oft etwas für das gesamte Büro, und was besonders freut: Hier gibt es noch faire Preise für ein tolles, sättigendes Mittagessen. Die Jungs arbeiten mega schnell. Obwohl die Nachfrage groß ist und es viele Kunden gibt, musste ich noch nie zu lange warten – und das, obwohl ich allein meistens 5–6 Stück auf einmal bestelle. Auch die Idee mit den Abholnummern ist klasse und super praktisch. Ich wünsche dem Team viel Erfolg, ihr seid spitze! Toll, wie effizient und lecker ihr alles organisiert habt! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Ich bin absolut begeistert von meinem Besuch hier in der Christophstraße. Die Frische der Zutaten ist sofort erkennbar, besonders die Auswahl in der Theke sieht einfach toll aus. Die Jalapeños und die knackigen Karotten haben hervorragend geschmeckt. Alles war perfekt vorbereitet und hat richtig lecker geschmeckt. Ich komme definitiv wieder.

Das vegetarische Shawarma hier war überraschend gut. (4,5 Sterne, wenn möglich!) Ich kann dieses Lokal besonders für Vegetarier empfehlen. Das Hähnchen war auch gut, aber die vegetarischen Gerichte sind wirklich herausragend. Die Preise sind im Vergleich zu anderen Lokalen niedrig. Ein nettes Lokal, das einen Besuch wert ist.

Der Geschmack war gut, die Menge war erstaunlich und die Preise waren angemessen.

Netter kleiner Imbiss den ich eben auf dem Rückweg von der Arbeit gefunden habe. Große Auswahl an verschiedenen Schawarma Varianten. Ich hatte den mit Halloumi, Falafel und Fleisch, was eine schöne Abwechslung zum klassischen Schawarma war. Schawarma war lecker, wurde nett und freundlich beraten, also Service top. Warzezeit 3 Minuten und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war mit 7€ auch gut. Komme gerne wieder!

Beste Sandwiches/Rollos in der ganzen Stadt. Bin seit vielen Jahren Stammkunde. Die Leute sind wirklich nett, alles ist immer frisch und die hausgemachten Saucen sind einfach nur ein Traum. 100% Empfehlung.

Das Ambiente ist schlicht,aber die sind so lieb und aufmerksam. Und es war köstlich. Dieser Imbiss hat nicht umsonst den Streetfoodaward gewonnen. Alles wird frisch zubereitet. Ich empfehle es von Herzen gerne.

Wir haben eine große vegetarische Platte für 15 Personen bestellt, war sehr lecker, Preis-Leistung Verhältnis super, alles lief reibungslos

Einer der besten Shawarma-Läden weit und breit. Das Essen ist richtig saftig, und beim Fleisch wird nicht gegeizt. Wir würden dort locker jeden Tag essen. Aber es gibt einen großen Minuspunkt: Die Mitarbeiter fassen erst Geld an und bereiten danach ohne Händewaschen das Essen zu. Das ist hygienisch ein absolutes No-Go. Wenn der Besitzer das in den Griff bekommt, ist der Laden sofort die Nummer 1 in der Gegend. Hoffentlich wird das schnell ernst genommen.

Einfach fantastisch! Ich habe mir nur schnell was zum Abendessen geholt und die XL-Portion ist riesig und das Essen ist köstlich!

Super schneller Imbiss mit einer großen Auswahl an Gerichten. Preise sind in Ordnung und bisher hat alles geschmeckt von shawarma, über Halloumi bis hin zu Fallafel. Zur Mittagszeit ist immer viel Andrang, aber das Lokal Team arbeitet schnell un effizient, sodass man selbst zur Mittagspause noch genug Zeit hat zu essen und sich nicht beeilen muss.

A true delight!!! We ordered a vegetarian party platter for 15 people. Everyone thought it tasted fantastic, and there was even some left over for the next day. The man was so nice when we ordered on the phone, and super friendly in person as well. We'll definitely order from here again!

There are still places where the food is delicious AND affordable! Large plate of falafel, chicken, and tabbouleh: 11 euros!

I'm from Warstein in Cologne and spontaneously decided to try Anya. I received excellent advice and service, and discovered a new favorite dish. I'd never eaten shawarma before, and the superb quality impressed me. The price is really good for such a large portion.

INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS! I stumbled upon this Iraqi snack bar on Christophstrasse, not far from Mediapark. I noticed it because the police are constantly there, taking bags of food back to the station. Long lines at lunchtime, everyone wants shawarma! The guys behind the counter are incredibly friendly and they work like crazy. The taste of the meat, hummus, and fresh salad is so delicious that I have to go there regularly.

Along with Habibi, the best shawarma in town? At lunchtime, it's a real treat because the price/performance ratio is simply unbelievably good. The regular shawarma is usually sufficient, but if you want, there's also an XL version for under €7! The meat is delicious, the ingredients are fresh, and the staff is friendly and extremely efficient. At lunchtime, you can expect a 20-minute wait if you arrive a minute past noon; before that, it's usually under 10 minutes.

In my opinion, Anya Imbiss is a must-visit for anyone traveling in Cologne. The staff at both locations is extremely friendly and accommodating. The food is incredibly delicious, and the price is more than fair. We always enjoy coming here.

I thought the falafel was very good, the hummus was okay, but the shawarma was too fatty and heavily seasoned.

The sandwiches at Anya's really taste great, and I actually really enjoy coming here. But what's been really unacceptable lately is that the employees often prepare the sandwiches without gloves, handling the ingredients with their bare fingers, and rolling them with their bare hands. Not only does this look unhygienic, but it's also really unpleasant and disgusting for many customers (including me). It's a shame, because the taste is really great – but hygiene is simply part of it. If the employees would consistently wear gloves again, I would come much more often. So, I avoid the shop more often these days, even though I actually love the food.

Very, very tasty falafel, really stands out! Shawarma and makali were also tasty, but not as good as the falafel.

We passed this restaurant on route to a Chinese eatery, which happened to be closed. We then returned to Anya and had a wonderful lunch here! We ate our meal seated at one of the few outdoor tables. Delicious! Definitely a better deal than eating near the Dome in one of the overpriced tourist restaurants.

Bought an Anya plate to take away in the evening. It was super tasty and generously packed. Nice staff and great value for money.

I've been eating there for 8 years. The quality has remained at a high level since then: delicious falafels, shawarma sandwiches and the catering is also highly recommended. Here's a little story that describes how welcoming the owners are: When the flood disaster hit the Eifel in 2021, my father was visiting Cologne and ordered shawarma sandwiches there. He exchanged a few words with the nice owners and it came out that he comes from the Eifel. Afterwards he simply received his order as a gift. The owners are so kind-hearted. The Anya Imbiss has now existed for more than two decades and I hope that it will continue to exist for a long time.

The staff is attentive, the products are great. We came for the first time on recommendation. It was a little difficult to find an empty seat and we waited a bit, but it was worth the wait. The portions are quite large, everything was delicious individually.

For just 3,50€ (increased to 4 euro in 2025) you get the best falafel in all of cologne. The staff are so kind and always smiling 🙂. I've sometimes seen them offer free food to people who can't afford it and it is highly commendable! The prices are more than reasonable. 110% recommend.

Super delicious, as you can imagine if you go there at lunchtime. A group of giants stands in front of it and waits. And yet it happened quickly, the guys there in the piece are very organized. Everything was delicious and fresh and well seasoned.

The small shop is so busy at lunchtime that there are 5 employees there. I think that speaks for itself😉. The boys also look pretty nice, but they are a bit short due to the high pace of work. All that's left to say is: "Enjoy your meal."

You get Yummy shawarma here. Price is very reasonable. Weekdays afternoon you can expect more crowd and long waiting time.

We come here regularly on our lunch break. Yes, between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. it's more crowded, but the boys produce fireworks of effectiveness and speed. Crazy to see. And everything is always fresh and delicious at a fair price. Keep it up.

The top insider tip, or does everyone already know it? Super tasty Iraqi dishes with fresh salads and also fries for an average price of only 8 to 9 euros. However, there are only two tables. Most people take the food with them. Even the police get the food here

Probably the best shawarma in Cologne. Juicy, well-seasoned meat that isn't dripping with fat, enough salad & tralala & not over-sauced. Price-wise, it's okay for the quality. At lunchtime there is usually a queue of 8-10 people, but it still goes quickly. 10 min. waiting time. Fries were flabby & not great. Otherwise a dream.

Fast, clean, cheap, delicious food from decent people. Note: lunch time between 12.00 and 13:00 a little bit crowded due to offices around it. Definitely I recommend it.

Unbeatable price-performance. Everything tastes excellent, is fresh and not from the package but homemade. Very friendly hosts and simple, authentic atmosphere. In other shops on Aachen you can pay over 10 for a bratwurst roll that is called Merguez baguette, but here you can get REAL FOOD at the best price. It's really great!!!
