I would especially like to highlight the staff: The new employees take care of guests attentively and serve orders very quickly. After watching a lot of TikToks, we visited Eat Kumpir for the first time, and we'll be back! Excellent value for money! Very patient staff, who didn't let it bother us because it took us a long time to choose. The Kumpir was delicious, there was a wide selection (including drinks), and the atmosphere was also nice, with its beautifully decorated interior and a bit of privacy in the booths.

Very tasty and always freshly prepared. The value for money is also very good. The portions are generous, enough to satisfy everyone.

Since the shop has been remodeled (sold?), it looks so much better! Simply modern and inviting. Thankfully, the food has remained exactly as it was. The only thing I would really like is for the Kumpir to be served in a ceramic bowl instead of the aluminum one, to be more sustainable.

Super delicious, totally filling. We had the American version twice. The owner was super nice and explained everything to us, let us try the toppings, and chatted with us about the background of Kumpir. It was definitely the right choice. A must-see if you're in the area. :)

There were two of us and we bought food. The food was delicious. But the service from the two ladies was beyond criticism. It was obvious from everywhere that they didn't feel like working. One of the employees threw out the trash with gloves and continued cooking for the next customers with the same gloves.

I've been back after the renovation; the atmosphere is top-notch and the food is still delicious. They now offer more toppings; I recommend hummus and walnut spinach salad.

I've never had kumpir. But today I discovered this delicacy with Eat Kampir. It was truly delicious, especially the baked potatoes mixed with cheese, which makes a delicious mash. You can choose a meat base and add whatever vegetables and other ingredients you like. The prices are inexpensive, a real treat for the price. I recommend it if you visit Cologne.

I ordered Kumpir and was unfortunately very disappointed. The employee seemed unmotivated and unfriendly. It was also unclear whether she understood German or Turkish – communication was difficult. The food itself was neither fresh nor tasty. The next day, I had severe stomach pain and diarrhea. The prices were clearly too high for the quality. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience – I won't order from there again.

I visited the store to try a Kumpir and was initially pleasantly surprised: The potato was very large and generously filled. There was a good selection of toppings, which were generously applied; they definitely didn't skimp on the ingredients. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't entirely convincing. The spices were completely missing, and even the salt was barely present. This made the Kumpir seem rather bland overall. With a little more seasoning and perhaps a bit of cheese, the whole thing would have tasted much better. Conclusion: Very appealing in terms of appearance and portion size, but rather disappointing in terms of taste.

It was the first time I tried Kumpir. The seller explained to us in detail how he prepares the Kumpir. There are ready-made Kumpir and ones that you can put together yourself. All the ingredients on display look fresh. The drink selection is plentiful. The store is very clean and modernly furnished. The only thing that bothers me is the loud music in the dining area. All in all, it was a successful visit and I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

Hello, I ordered an iced matcha latte with strawberry and unfortunately I have to say that the quality is not good. Unfortunately, the milk (cow) is of poor quality. This makes it inedible for me and I have returned it and personally complained about it. I was offered to add more matcha, but I declined. The service was friendly.

The best buddies I know. The restaurant has had a fresh, new design for some time now. The selection of fresh ingredients is very large. The service is always very friendly and, above all, fast. Vegans will also find what they are looking for here. Maybe the vegan offering will also expand. Instead of the aluminum shells, I would like to see more environmentally friendly versions. There are certainly nice porcelain bowls for consumption on site. But otherwise there is really only good things to report here. The opening times are also very long. In summer there are also some seats outside. If you haven't tried it yet, you should. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff. They are caring and the place is nice. I ate baked potatoes for the first time and even though I said I wouldn't be satisfied without bread, I was stuffed :) I didn't like the sauerkraut, it was a bit raw, other than that, everything was good, thank you.

I tried the Kumpir America and was absolutely thrilled! The baked potato was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and the filling was simply delicious. The combination of ingredients was really well coordinated, simply a taste experience! It was definitely worth it and I can really recommend it to anyone who wants to try something different. I ordered a baked potato to take away and have now been waiting for over 50 minutes - for a whopping €12. Prices are rising, but apparently there are cuts in staff. That can't seriously be the claim.

To charge €11.90 for a baked potato with a few vegetables and perhaps just 50g of kebab meat is simply outrageous. Such pricing should be checked more closely by the public order office, the city of Cologne and the tax office.

The Kumpir were very tasty. The shop was nicely decorated, very modern. The woman at the counter wasn't that friendly, but it worked. The man at the counter was very nice. The waiting time was great, the food took less than 5 minutes. The drinks are very tasty, there are delicious drinks that are not available everywhere. The only small catch is the toilets. They are relatively clean but very small. You can hardly wash your hands. Otherwise, the store convinced me and I would go there again.

Just ordered "Chicken" kumpir. 0 chicken inside, very disappointed, just some sauce on top. Normally like the place, but wouldn't recommend to order "Chicken".

I wasn't entirely convinced by my visit to Eat Kumpir. Unfortunately, the chicken disappointed me - it had more of the taste and consistency of a meat substitute, which I didn't like. The potato was quite small overall, but the price was okay. The positive thing is that you have the opportunity to put together each ingredient individually to create your perfect combination. Nevertheless, I would only maybe visit the store again, it is not a must for me. However, the renovation was definitely a big plus - it was long overdue and was good for the ambience.

It has been beautifully renovated, but due to the crowds the quality has fallen by the wayside. We paid almost €40 for 2 Kumpir and a fries with 2 drinks. Which is intense. That aside, the worst thing were the fries, apparently they were old and had been warmed up again in the deep fryer (which still meant they weren't hot) so the fries were totally greasy and disgusting and when we mentioned it we just played dumb and didn't have any New fries offered. The two Kumpir were cold, at most luke warm, the taste was still good. Side dishes or toppings very cold (like the sausages for example). We will never eat there again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Ordered the Mexican Kumpir. The potato was baked to perfection. The mashed bits were absolutely fused in the cheese perfection but it still wasn't overpowering. The zaziki was perfect in combination with the American salad, couscous, which i usually don't enjoy, red cabbage, the amazingly well-marinated chicken breasts with the soft texture, the nacho-chips, the black beans. Loved it.
