I've been there three times so far and have never been disappointed! Nice waitresses/servers and the ambience and how the food is served (depending on what you order) makes you feel a little closer to Hong Kong or China. The food is of high quality and tastes very delicious. I've been looking for a restaurant like this for a while and luckily I finally found it. 🤗

What just happened? This shop was a dream, finally something different from Asia than the usual Viet-Thai menu you see on every corner. The noodle bowls, especially the lamb ones, were so good that I returned every few days. The descent began in September. First, some dishes were removed from the menu and suddenly the typical Sichuan taste disappeared. You can still see all the crossed-out dishes on the menu. When I asked what was going on, they said they had a new cook and immediately greeted me from the cows. This was a pot of lotus that tasted great again. Today I was back after a long time - and the only guest. The chili beef noodles had now degenerated into spaghetti with ground beef and a few Asian spices. In the past these were strips of beef fillet with Sichuan pepper in oil and incredible tasting spices and the finest noodles. Nothing left of the former Sezuan taste. For €15, it's a disgrace. Unfortunately that was it for me. It's a shame that someone here decided to dilute the uniqueness of this restaurant, it could have been so nice. And the super nice head waiter was no longer there either. Oh yes, the dumplings have been just a few frozen wontons for some time now - certainly not homemade anymore, the homemade dumplings used to be a dream there too. I'd rather get Bürger Maultaschen in Edeka on the Marienburger in the east and make myself a broth from soup greens.

What specialists! It starts with navigator understanding: Google Maps takes you around the entire area when you enter the address. You should know: The Dim Sum House is at the beginning/end of the Adenauer-Passage, through the courtyard you get to the Arabella-Passage. Authentic in terms of Cantonese cuisine and decor. Has been here for several decades. So far I haven't been able to like dim sum (steamed, stuffed dough roll made from rice flour). I was completely overwhelmed by the selection on the menu (despite the photos). It was good that the Chinese woman from our former colleagues had organized everything in advance. So she simply ordered a Hong Kong duck for everyone, which of course was only cut through several times with the hatchet. So it was bony, but the meat and especially the sauce was really delicious. Otherwise, steamed spinach dumplings, fried wontons, taro dumplings, red bean paste pancakes and fried rice with seafood (a little fried, but lots of seafood) were on the table. Benedictine Hefeweizen was praiseworthy, my white wine (0.2 l for 6 €) was quite enjoyable, but it certainly wasn't Riesling, idle to ask... simply because of the language difficulties. After paying the bill, we were treated to espresso and a sticky-sweet dim sum sesame dessert on the house. Based on the overall experience and my curiosity about the unknown, a mild 4 stars.

All the food we ordered as a family was frozen. Without exception, every dish had that thawed taste. And THE PRICES??! That was so little food and frozen food for over €200. If you want real Asian food, please go anywhere but here.
