Simple but delicious dumpling restaurant. Worth the visit.

The taste is average, the fried beef river is mushy, the custard buns are very choking and thick, the fillings have no taste, the chicken feet are tasteless

This is not the best Asian restaurant in Frankfurt. Rather average.

We came across this restaurant through a recommendation - otherwise we probably would never have thought of going in. Luckily we had a reservation because it gets full very quickly. The menu is great and we absolutely loved everything we ordered. An experience from iced tea to duck. All the employees are super friendly. Price is good - considering the quality of the food it's very fair. When we come back to Frankfurt we will plan a visit again.

I used it at a farewell party for a company employee. There was also a large seat on the second floor. All the rice was delicious, and if I had leftovers, I could take them home with Tappa.

Of the dishes I ordered, only seaweed rolls and steamed beef tendons were delicious. The other seasonings were not flavourful. They tasted very bland and I ate them with the chili on the table. If you have not made a reservation, you can queue up before 11:30 and you can basically get in. Food is cooked to order, so you can think about what you want to eat first, and ordering in advance will serve you faster~ The following foods are personal reflections: Shrimp dumplings (2.5 stars) - The skin is soft and rotten, each one has two shrimps and a little bamboo shoots, and the taste is average. Seaweed roll (4.5 stars) - The portion is actually not big, suitable for about 2 people to share. It is freshly fried, very crispy, salty and delicious. Steamed Rice Noodles with Assorted Mushrooms (4 stars) - Suitable for those who like mushrooms, it contains dried shiitake mushrooms and white mushrooms, and tastes like soy sauce. Yao Zhu Shaomai King (5 stars) - The Yao Zhu is not obvious (decorated on top), mainly pork, shrimp and dried mushrooms, salty and delicious. Pearl Glutinous Rice Chicken (4.5 stars) - lotus leaf bun, tastes very good, dried mushroom + dried shrimp flavor. Salted dumplings (5 stars) - freshly fried and super delicious! It is also stuffed with dried shiitake mushrooms + mushrooms + dried shrimps and meat, and the skin is like fried mochi and fried glutinous rice balls. Xingzhou Fried Rice Noodles (3.5 stars) - Curry flavor, it has a relatively large number of ingredients in the same series of products, including shrimps, chicken, dried meat slices, bean sprouts, eggs, and a small amount of chives and coriander. You can order it if you need a staple food for a large number of people. Guava juice - not too sweet, rich and very good. There are not many waiters, but they are very helpful. If you miss an order, it is very humane to ask if you want to cancel or wait for food. Accepts EC cards and cash. The above is about the amount for two people, so you can just pack it yourself ~ it mainly contains rice noodles and a small amount of steamed food.

The restaurant has an authentic atmosphere, very nice service and really good dishes, it arrives little by little, so you can enjoy everything calmly. The shrimp ravioli are very soft, each containing two whole shrimps inside, which surprised me a lot, but they are really delicious! I highly recommend ordering them! The seaweed roll was really good. The portion is actually not big, suitable for about 2 people to share. It's freshly fried, very crunchy, salty and delicious. The pork was very well seasoned and tasty, we really enjoyed it. Good for group sharing so everyone can get a piece and have variety. The place is very crowded and the waiters don't come by very often, but many compatriots from the Asian continent are represented among the guests, which is always a good sign. Warning: without reservation it can be crowded. Call ahead or expect wait times. They accept EC cards and cash.

Always super tasty! But please make a reservation, otherwise there will be long waiting times 😜. The food is very authentic and the selection is great! Bring some time to study the menu 😉

The Dim Sum House is highly recommended for fans of authentic Chinese cuisine. The service was very friendly and the price-performance ratio is great. I would particularly recommend taking as many friends as possible with you so that you can try out a lot. We'll be back next time we visit Frankfurt!

The Dim Sum House has an authentic vibe, very nice service, and really good dishes. We particularly liked the G1 (pork with a kind of honey sauce). The H3 (chicken with onions and mushrooms) and the Cha Siu Bao were also really outstanding. The very tasty homemade iced tea went well with it. I'll be honest, I didn't like everything we ordered. However, in the end the taste is very subjective. I can 100% recommend the dishes mentioned above, and I would come again just for that! The price is also fair and, in my opinion, perfect with a small group (3-5 people) so that you can order the dishes together; share and try. Be careful: it can get crowded without a reservation. Either call in advance or expect waiting times. We waited about 20 minutes and busied ourselves with the map and checking the boxes. Overall really sensational!

Viene con porciones de arroz blanco. ¡Así que eso completa la comida! El Har - haw y siew mai eran indicadores de lo bueno que es un restaurante dim sum. ¡Estaban bien! La piel de Har gaw no era espesa, ingredientes frescos y vino humeante caliente! El arroz glutinoso envuelto en hoja de loto es muy bueno también. Son frescos y fáciles en el estómago - no se siente pesado - ir. Mi marido y yo tuvimos la suerte de conseguir una mesa rápidamente sin reservas. Si tienes un gran número de personas yendo, entonces es probablemente mejor hacer reservas primero.

The table turnover was fast so I waited in line and found a table quickly. I definitely recommend the iced tea!!! Don't think about ordering more after eating all the steamy food, but order it all at once.

What specialists! It starts with navigator understanding: Google Maps takes you around the entire area when you enter the address. You should know: The Dim Sum House is at the beginning/end of the Adenauer-Passage, through the courtyard you get to the Arabella-Passage. Authentic in terms of Cantonese cuisine and decor. Has been here for several decades. So far I haven't been able to like dim sum (steamed, stuffed dough roll made from rice flour). I was completely overwhelmed by the selection on the menu (despite the photos). It was good that the Chinese woman from our former colleagues had organized everything in advance. So she simply ordered a Hong Kong duck for everyone, which of course was only cut through several times with the hatchet. So it was bony, but the meat and especially the sauce was really delicious. Otherwise, steamed spinach dumplings, fried wontons, taro dumplings, red bean paste pancakes and fried rice with seafood (a little fried, but lots of seafood) were on the table. Benedictine Hefeweizen was praiseworthy, my white wine (0.2 l for 6 €) was quite enjoyable, but it certainly wasn't Riesling, idle to ask... simply because of the language difficulties. After paying the bill, we were treated to espresso and a sticky-sweet dim sum sesame dessert on the house. Based on the overall experience and my curiosity about the unknown, a mild 4 stars.

Will definitely go back for the Beef Tendon! So so so good, well seasoned 🥹🥰 I personally also recommend their seaweed fried roll too. Other food items were pretty decent as well. (Only the clay pot rice is a little below average in my POV). Good for sharing in group so everyone can get a pieces of each and have varieties.

Dog friendly restaurant. The food is quite good and tasteful. Does not accept amex, visa, Mastercard. How to say? This forces people to pay in cash then.

Unfortunately I only get extremely greasy, oily foods. I regularly visit authentic Chinese restaurants. This was the worst in Frankfurt so far. There is also a lot a lot of frozen goods in play. ..Homemade tastes different. Clear disappointment! Only the service was fine. Why so many people eat here remains a mystery to me. ...My wife is Chinese and was also very disappointed.

Das war mal gar nichts.. ölig und fettig ! TK Ware aus der neben der Toilette stehenden Tiefkühltruhe. Totale Enttäuschung. Ich gehe normalerweise nur in authentische chinesische Restaurants. Dieses hier war das schlechteste in Frankfurt.

The food quality was acceptable, but the service was extremely disappointing. Despite an issue with the restaurant’s payment system not accepting Apple Pay, I was asked to pay twice. This was clearly their mistake, yet the staff showed no sense of proper customer service or professionalism.

Es war eine Empfehlung einer Freundlin aus Hong Kong, die in Köln wohnt. Gefragt nach dem besten und authentischsten Restaurant mit Spezialitäten aus Hong Kong lautete die spontane Antwort: Dim-Sum-House in Frankfurt. Wir waren seitdem mehrmals hier, haben diverse Anstürme (Reservierungen im 1,5h-Takt) aber auch entspannte Gelage draußen mit acht Personen genossen. Vielleicht nicht unbedingt geeignet für ein formales Geschäftsessen, kann man die authentische, wuselige Atmosphäre erleben. Übrigens: Essen in Hong Kong bedeutet, mit mehreren Leuten das Essen teilen und geniessen. Der Service ist super und wir freuen uns immer bereits auf den nächsten Besuch.

The best dim sum I’ve found in Germany so far. My favorite was the steamed rice noodle with shrimp. Delish! The only downside is that they don’t bring all your dishes out at once, which is typical of a dim sum place.

The food tasted great and I was happy to be able to get some of the more rare vegetables that are usually only available in Asia. But it was really inconvenient that they didn’t accept credit cards!

The Chinese name of this restaurant is "Dim Sum King". We ordered a portion of green vegetables and paid for a super large bowl of rice. The rice was definitely for three people. The stir-fried green vegetables were very crispy and retained the sweetness of the green vegetables. , the fried rice noodles are so fragrant and moist that you can’t stop eating them. The prawn bean curd rolls are the most amazing dish. The outer skin is very soft and the aroma of the filling is even more fragrant. This chicken feet dish is definitely not The standard Hong Kong food taste, but the Q Jin flavor with a lot of chicken feet has a unique flavor. I personally think today's dish is a success, but the part on the wall that says Hong Kong is part of China? This shouldn’t need to be emphasized, right? Originally, there was nothing to emphasize about China’s territory. As far as meals are concerned, this restaurant is definitely recommended...but the plastic plates are inappropriate in my opinion even in China, let alone in Germany? Please consider changing to porcelain dinner plates...

As a Cantonese, I think their food is too far from the standard of authentic Cantonese dim sum…

A cute little restaurant in Frankfurt! There is really solid Chinese food here. We had to wait a bit at the beginning because the restaurant was - and rightly so! - packed. But the wait was worth it! Each dish is served on different plates, so perfect for people who like to share and try different things.

Today we had 3 starters and 2 main courses for two. Everyone tried everything and it was delicious. We'll definitely be back

I haven’t been there for a few years. I was surprised when I went this time. A dim sum costs 8 or 9 yuan. The beef river with black pepper is oily and salty. Half of it is filled with gravy. The rice noodles even stick together. I will never go there again.

Very poor taste and disgusting services! Never ever go there if possible. I clearly observed the following: the two waitresses one older and the other younger, both at the same time ate their own food (still chewing ) when were serving the customers. When a cup of overflowing beer was brought out of the kitchen by the old waitress , I clearly saw she lipped the cup edge to avoid the further overflowing! So disgusting! I hoped that old Chinese customer ordered the beer saw this scene too, but he definitely not. Otherwise, you could imagine what would happen. I have video clips to show the two waitresses chewing food when serving customers.

If you can get past the total lack of charm of the decor you will be in store for a real treat. Excellent duck, amazing shumai, very friendly service.

Best to have a reservation because it can get busy! Recommended by a Chinese friend, he said it was the best authentic Chinese food he has had in FFM. We got many different things (steamed bbq bun rolls, fried shrimp rolls, duck, and more that I forgot.). Everything was good and prices decent. The duck portion was half and it was huge. Service was great.

The Dim Sum House in Frankfurt, hidden by the Konstablerwache parking garage, offers authentic Hong Kong cuisine. The service is very friendly and the ambience is very reminiscent of the traditional dim sum houses in Hong Kong. The quality of the food varies from ok to good, although the prices are quite high for a quick bite. For example, a chicken dish costs €18.50. The drinks prices in particular are disproportionately high, at €2.80 for a small cola and €5.80 for a beer. The €7.50 for a bottle of water also seems excessive. Despite the prices, credit cards are not accepted.

I've been going here regularly for almost two years. In my opinion, the dim sums are the best in Ffm. Furthermore, the service is quick and friendly, even if the restaurant is usually very busy.

Ate there again after a long time. The store was well attended. Unfortunately, as I remember it, the dim sums were better back then (in my opinion), they lacked a bit of spice. The duck and the BBQ pork were still good. Service quick and nice.

First time in Frankfurt and went to this restaurant, food was average. When bill was brought I was told Visa Cards and Mastercards are not accepted, at first i thought it was a joke but no, they were serious. Having been to over 40 countries, I never seen an establishment that does not accept Visa Card or Mastercard. The Lady who attended to us was very rude and difficult, knowing foreigners come there, she made not effort to inform us about this weird rule until we finished eating. My point is if you are a foreigner and want to go to this establishment, you are expected to have cash or some local payment card. Never stepping my feet in there again.

This is an authentic Hong Kong style Chinese Dim Sum Restaurant. The food is exactly as what you get from HK. It does not "fusion" for the local taste bud. A very large selection of Dim Sum, beautifully prepared. Parking is very convenient - right next to a Parkhaus. Highly recommended; even when it means 1 hour drive for me.

Were there on recommendation. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The dumplings tasted frozen and the duck with noodle soup was gristly and very fatty. In addition, the hygienic conditions are a disaster. Anyone who goes to the toilet can see everything standing around in the hallway and can also take a look into the kitchen. I forbid myself further description. Was sick immediately after 1 day and didn't consume anything else. Sorry about that, but unfortunately your illusion of unique Chinese food has to be taken away from you.

A nice experience of Asian food stalls in the middle of Frankfurt on the edge of the Zeil. It gets busy after 6 p.m., so call ahead or come by. Pork balls, chicken feet, pork stomachs and other typical dishes are served and are a lot of fun. The Bao are really well filled and taste great. The iced tea and Vietnamese coffee complete the experience!

Price/performance is not right at all. In short: Dim sum is tasty, but nothing special. 10-13€ for 4 micro dumplings is quite sporty. But the really annoying thing: The Peking duck (we ordered a whole one for two) was - contrary to the description - unfortunately not a whole Peking duck. The legs were removed and the duck breast was cut off less than halfway up. So we had a duck skin with about 0.5mm meat thickness. This is an absolute impudence and borders on fraud, or at least ripping off the customer. Afterwards we went for a kebab to make sure we were full. Never again for us. Simply a mass production that thrives on great advertising on TV. Absolutely not recommended, there are much better things in Hamburg for a more reasonable price.

Definitely a recommended dining experience! The rule here is: Trying is more important than studying. The four of us ordered each of the individual dishes on the menu and received fresh, steaming hot food. Some things are clearly a matter of taste, although you could never complain about the quality. Other dishes leave you completely surprised, like the inconspicuous Mara cake, which was simply delicious! Only the beef was bad, not in terms of taste, but unfortunately it was more cartilage and bones than meat. Be careful with some translations. It's best to proofread the English names as well, as German and English differ from time to time.

We took out 3 types of dim sum and 1 type of BBQ Pork + Duck. A piece of fiber presumed to be a scrub brush was found in the dim sum, and part of the lid of the BBQ packaging container was broken and missing. We were very disappointed.

Always wanted to go to this place! As a big lover of Asian cuisine and especially dim sum, this restaurant was recommended to me through many channels. And it wasn't a disappointment; I'm looking forward to being able to try and taste a colorful mix of new small dishes next time! This first time, the char siu baos were my personal highlight! The seaweed and shrimp roll was also great (unfortunately eaten before I could think about taking a photo :)) We'll definitely be back!
