I've been there three times so far and have never been disappointed! Nice waitresses/servers and the ambience and how the food is served (depending on what you order) makes you feel a little closer to Hong Kong or China. The food is of high quality and tastes very delicious. I've been looking for a restaurant like this for a while and luckily I finally found it. 🤗

The food was great. The dim sum in particular is unbeatable.

I've been wanting to go there for a while because I heard that it was delicious even in the Japanese community. All the dishes I ordered were satisfying, including my favorite lobster dish and beef senmai dish. I want to go again. The store is clean and the service is attentive.

We went for the discounted lunch menu. Large portions with soup or spring rolls as a starter included in the price. Tasted good.

As a HKer it has been difficult to find authentic HK cuisine (Dim sum or fried rice/noodles) in Germany to ease the homesick, until I found this restaurant 2 years ago. Since then I have come here multiple times whenever I travel thru Munich. Their dim sum is homemade and fresh, without MSG - while most other Chinese restaurants’ ones are frozen and simply reheated. My other favorite dishes are Roasted pork (Cha Siu), fried rice noodle with beef, and mixed seafood & Tofu pot. They also have a weekly special menu which you can order their seasonal dishes. Most of their servers are friendly and polite. There are incidents that food is served slower than usual, due to peak time, but I have only experienced once.

Food looks better than it tastes

The dumplings and hot stone dishes in particular are highly recommended.

Tastes authentic! The milk tea is very fragrant and different from those brewed milk teas.

The food is delicious. It's the most delicious Chinese restaurant I've eaten in Munich. However, the additional order that I ordered did not arrive even after waiting for 50 minutes, and they kept saying it would arrive soon, but in the end, the order was not even placed and was only added to the bill. Even the bowl of rice I ordered didn't come out... If you look at the food, it's a great restaurant.

My wife had dim sum and chicken with Sichuan sauce, I had sour and spicy soup and crispy duck with vegetables and rice. Everything extremely delicious! Price-performance ratio very good. Most of the people there were Chinese compatriots. This fact alone speaks for this restaurant. We felt a bit "handled" by the staff. Otherwise we had a nice stay. We will be back definitely.

Food is good and reasonably priced. A lot of Chinese speaking people are always here which makes me think the food might be authentic.

Very good food. Service is very quick. Tidy and clean. Dogs are allowed, American Express unfortunately is not and it is wheelchair accessible.

Best HongKong dishes near Munich and friendly service

I've probably been there 4-5 times (on site and take away). The food is incredible. Everything prepared fresh and delicious. I ordered take away the day before yesterday and it was amazing. The rice was too much, gladly less next time :). I recommend dim sum, but the rest is also super delicious 下次见！

We spent the evening at the Oriental Hong Kong Kitchen and were very impressed. We ordered the following dishes: rice leaf rolls with shrimp, poached chicken with chili oil vinegar, water spinach, ha gau and clay pot rice (pork and Chinese sausage caramelized with bok choy). The rice in the clay pot then becomes particularly crispy. What I have to note: I have never had such delicious rice rolls in Germany - not crumbly, simply delicious. I have also never had rice in a clay pot in Germany. It was also positive that many Chinese people ate in the restaurant; this means that the food tastes very authentic. The service was very courteous and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and nicely decorated.

Order using phone at a restaurant? No way. It s expensive i want a real waiter taking the order or they can make decent human prices

This was my first experience with a cheinise restaurant and I have to admit that it was positive. The food was unusual but tasty. The service was good.

Food was good. Unfortunately, a young waitress was very unfriendly when we asked if we could sit outside (we didn't get a table yet). We were rudely told “once inside, now outside again”. I find it very unprofessional and rude.

If you want to save yourself the trip to Hong Kong, eat here. Large selection of delicious dishes. Good friendly service, great value for money. Can absolutely recommend. Every visit is a joy. It's not for nothing that the restaurant is always busy.

The food is good but the service should be improved. Three dishes were not served as we ordered and we did check with the waiters. Unfortunately, they didn’t make it up. And also one dish was served wrong.

Just really great food. Be sure to try the pork ears with chilli/sesame oil as a starter.

Best dim sum than anywhere in Munich

I lived in Düsseldorf for many years and have been unhappy in Munich for a long time because the selection of dim sum is usually tragically small. Here the portions are generous, the prices are fair and the taste is fantastic. Everything you can't get anywhere else in Munich. Very, very friendly service and also creative non-alcoholic drinks. I took a taxi there especially for my birthday to finally try it. Now I know why my friends raved so much that they only order dim sum here.

We love their food, always come here for trying something new, never disappoints. Service also excellent.

Today we got fried rice with chicken, among other things. The rice was colorless (fried too short), the meat was in huge chunks that weren't cooked through at all. Not enjoyable for me. Of course, I only noticed this at home. After we complained, the money was returned, but there was no reasonable apology for the hassle and the unnecessary journey. Overall not recommended.

We already know some Cantonese cuisines. But this one is absolutely awesome. Really good food and great service. There were three of us there and we are all very critical. But the cuisine is excellent. Yes, not cheap but not expensive either. The price is absolutely justified for the quality.

This is probably the only restaurant in and around Munich that offers authentic dim sum. Most restaurants in Munich offer fusion or frozen food options. They shouldn't actually be called Dim Sum. Here you immediately notice that the dim sum is prepared in-house. We recommend the rice leaf rolls with shrimp, har gau, shui mai, tofu rolls and the radish potato pancakes. The roasted duck on the bone or the roasted pork (char siu) are also really good. If you're more adventurous, try the pork ribs, tripe or beef stomach ;).

A very, very good restaurant in Karlsfeld. The dim sums here are fresh, homemade and authentic. The duck is also very, very tasty. I have to take the S-Bahn from Munich to get there, but the trip is definitely worth it every time. I haven't eaten so well in such a long time. Thanks! Praise for the kitchen and the owner! We happened to be here - unfortunately there was no space due to Chinese New Year. Looked great though. So make a reservation and go there the next day. Was worth it. The cuisine seemed very authentic to us and many Chinese families probably can't be wrong. Delicious dim sum, the duck and pork were also great. Service good. All in all 4.5 - therefore 5 points P.S. The German version of the menu shortens the waiting time with interesting translations P.P.S. I have to post most of the photos separately because the Google algorithm thinks a duck is offensive...

I tried twice. As a Hongkonger, surprisingly, I think this restaurant is comparable to the top notch Chinese restaurant in HK. All dishes and dim sum are yummy. Iced milk tea is same as that in Hong Kong. The waitresses have great attitude of serving. The noodle of 乾炒牛河is freshly made. The same as to the 腸粉。

Dimsum and Dumpling soup are the best.

Super delicious food. Very good dumplings. Duck was very tasty and juicy as well as crispy. The vegetarian dish was also really tasty. It's certainly not cheap in terms of price. 4 people with drinks without alcohol and without dessert a good €100. Gladly again because of the taste!

We visited this restaurant twice within a short period of time. We came up with this because we wanted to eat Peking duck. A midweek call in April and we were able to spontaneously eat Peking duck. In many restaurants this is only possible with a 1-2 day advance order and often only for 4 people or more. We're glad things were different here. However, I'm not sure whether they'll still have this on the menu in the future or whether they'll also switch to "on pre-order", I didn't understand that correctly during my last visit and will ask about it explicitly again. The furnishings are quite typical in black/red with classic decoration, a beautiful ceiling, glass walls, mirrors and a koi pond in the entrance area. Everything was spotlessly clean, including the restrooms. There is also a beautiful outdoor area. And what is immediately noticeable: a lot of Asian guests. For me it's a very good sign that there is authentic food here. The menu shows that rather "unusual" dishes are also served here, such as pork stomach, beef reticulum, tripe... The service is friendly and attentive and shortly after a dish is served, the question arises as to whether everything tastes good and fits, etc. Very exemplary. The Peking duck menu consists of 4 courses. The 1st course is duck sushi. More precisely, it is sushi rice wrapped in crispy duck skin and accompanied by a sensationally delicious sauce. There are 2 rolls per person, but they are really big and I then divided them. The 2nd course is what is actually known as Peking duck: Duck with crispy skin, no pancakes, hoisin sauce, cucumber and leek strips. You wrap the whole thing around yourself and it was really, really tasty. Now comes the third course (which is probably only the last course in China), namely the soup. The broth tasted very good and so did the vegetables and duck meat. What takes some getting used to in our circumstances is that the meat is still attached to the bone. To be honest, you're almost full after this course. But the fourth course followed, the main course. The juiciest and tastiest duck meat you could wish for (without skin) on vegetables in a very good sauce. On the second visit (Mother's Day) we tested various of the "famous" dim sums (all homemade) with 4 people and were very impressed. My favorite so far are the ground beef meatballs. But the main courses (duck with hoisin sauce, Kung Po prawns on a hot iron plate) are also simply perfect and delicious. And even a "normal" dish like beef with onions gave me real enthusiasm; I've never eaten it so well. We have chosen this restaurant as our favorite Chinese restaurant and are already looking forward to a few more visits where we can try many of the other delicacies.

This restaurant stands out from the crowd of (mostly mediocre) Asian restaurants with perfectly executed and absolutely authentic dishes (not just dim sum, which is rare to find in Germany). Of course, such quality comes at a high price, but we are happy to pay it for a taste experience (and, for my wife, nostalgic memories of our distant homeland) on special days. Oriental Hong Kong Kitchen is known and popular among Asian expats throughout Germany, so you should reserve your table in advance!

Authentic and delicious dim sum, some are even better than those in Hong Kong. The environment and atmosphere is enjoyable too. Definitely would recommend the restaurant to friends and family.

Food is very good. Service is pretty bad especially with the older lady. She’s pretty much asking for tips and will be very rude if you don’t give her any. (Note: tips are uncommon in Germany because waiters are fairly paid and the service fees are included in the meal. Ppl usually tip a little when the service is really above and beyond)

Super schmackhafte Speisen, schneller, aufmerksamer und netter Service. Eben unser Spitzen Asia Restaurant, wir kommen immer wieder gern.

Also, der Service ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Einrichtung ist sooooo schön, man fühlt sich direkt wohl und es sieht so hochwertig aus! Ob es die Holzbilder sind, die Glasaufdrucke oder diese anderen Acryl Gemälde! Die Rippchen mit der sesamsosse waren genial, vor allem die Soße werde ich in meine Küche integrieren! Die gemüsedumblings haben meiner Freundin sehr gemundet, ich fand sie gut, aber nicht spektakulär. Das Mapo Tofu war von der Konsistenz her gewöhnungsbedürftig weil so weich, aber die Soße hatte eine geile Schärfe die nicht so intensiv und hart ist aber den Mund schön betäubt. Den gebratenen Bambus mit den Glasnudeln und den Gemüse im Topf war auch lecker, hätte aber mehr Soße sein können. Die Tees Tie Guan Yin war lecker, aber die zimtnote habe ich vermisst. Der Chrzsabtheme Tee war sehr lecker. Haben insgesamt für alles inklusive Grosse Flasche Wasser 59€ gezahlt, was absolut gut ist für 2 Tee, Flasche Wasser, 2 Vorspeisen & 2 Hauptgerichte ist! Haben auch noch ca. Ein halbes bis Dreiviertel Hauptgericht eingepackt und mitgenommen. Ach im Hintergrund spielt schöne angenehmen Musik, Jazz oder classic ist es. Alles in einem absolut geil und zu empfehlen!

It is the best Hong Kong dim sum restaurant I've been for a while. As a Hongkonger I think the dim sum even better than Hong Kong. Try at least a meat like roasted duck or pork. Friendly staff. Many non local people drive to here to enjoy.

Großes Asiatisches Restaurant. Sehr sauber und gutes Essen

Dim sum - lecker Peking Ente- gut, aber kein Original und sehr lieblos zubereitet. Nachspeise- kann man im Supermarkt kaufen- muss man also nicht probieren. Service hat viel zu tun, daher nicht aufmerksam. Das nötigste wird gemacht, das aber das höflich und nett. Extra hinfahren lohnt sich nicht.

Absolutely a must-visit asian restaurant in Munich! Oriental Hongkong Kitchen has become our go-to restaurant, and it's hands down the best in the Munich area. The flavors are simply divine, and as an Indonesian, I can confidently say that it's a perfect match for Indonesian taste buds. 👍😍🤤
