A Chinese friend showed me this place and I was super happy!! I lived in Shenzhen (opposite of Hong Kong) for years, and I can say the food is original and excellent!! We had “morning tea” this time, but I will definitely try the dinner next time. Highly recommended!!

An authentic Hong Kong dim sum restaurant with a great selection of traditional dishes! The restaurant is spacious, with ample indoor seating and beautifully decorated in a distinct Chinese style, featuring round tables with turntables (lazy Susans) for easy sharing - perfect for group dining. While they specialize in dim sum, they also offer a variety of regular Chinese dishes. Every dim sum dish we tried was well-executed and delicious. The siu mai were juicy and bursting with flavor, while the chee cheong fan were delicate, with a silky texture and a soy sauce that had just the right hint of sweetness. There were only two slight disappointments: The Xiao Long Bao (Shanghai soup dumplings) arrived burst open, losing the flavorful broth that makes them special. The Peking duck had crispy skin and tender meat, but it contained too many bones, making it difficult to enjoy in the traditional pancakes. That said, the service was friendly and efficient, and the tablet ordering system made the process smooth and hassle-free. Prices are fair, reflecting the quality and craftsmanship behind the dishes. Overall, a great spot for authentic, tasty dim sum. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of their regular Chinese dishes as well!

Spent Chinese New Year here with my family. Unfortunately it was a total mistake. Extremely disappointing new year special dishes, despite fine normal dishes. Plus: unfriendly service, trying to teach you how to act like if you are happy although you are not. I was a regular customer here. But i will never return again

Went there again for dinner with a friend. Neither of us was that hungry and wanted to take half of it with us. Apparently it wasn't understood and the food was obviously thrown away. No suggestion for a solution was made either. Just an unreliable excuse. Next time I'll just burn my money. Comes out the same. Really very disappointing.

Really good - we will definitely come back to eat again soon and regularly! Really a varied menu with new dishes to try out, far away from the typical Euro-Asian dishes. I have no idea whether the dishes are authentic but they are definitely very, very good. Nice, funny and attentive service, we felt very comfortable!

Best Chinese with amazing authentic Dim Sum home made and best Peking Duck

It's a really cozy restaurant with friendly service. The selection of dishes is very large and it can take a while to decide, but thanks to the nice waitress there was the perfect solution. Pen and paper so that we can write down what we want and don't forget anything when she comes back, yes there were five of us, something will come together. There was a small minus point for the fact that the starters didn't come at the same time. For example, two arrived immediately after ordering, while the last one probably had to wait another good 15 minutes. And then they came almost at the same time as the main courses. But the food was very good and fresh. Chinese food often has a lot of artificial glutamate, but that's not the case here. Unfortunately no photo of the main courses, they were so good that we didn't think about taking photos.

The only spot around Munich where I can get authentic tasting HK/Cantonese style dim sum whenever I get the craving for a taste of home! Pricey but worth it to satisfy my craving. I would love to try their regular meal dishes too as I see a lot of dishes are what I grew up eating back home and cannot find anywhere else in Munich 🥹. The only downside is that it's located on the outskirts of Munich.

The quality of the food is not as expected. Especially, the fried rice which only has two shrimps…. Not recommended. Except for the barbecued pork buns and shrimp dumplings which are pretty good, the other fish and chicken soups, including glutinous rice chicken, mala cake... are all average, especially... the chicken and shrimp fried rice is all chicken and only has two shrimps... Such a big bowl of rice costs 18 euros. It’s really a dish that sticks to the bottom line...

What a disappointing dining experience. I have lived in Munich for more than ten years and have never encountered such a service attitude. I took my children with me and invited friends to have roast duck and New Year's Eve dinner. I ordered a table of dishes, the total price was about 180 euros, and there were so many dishes that there was almost no room to put the new dishes. However, throughout the process, the service felt awkward and uncomfortable. First, the restaurant did not provide a small plate or container for spitting the bones. I had no choice but to spit out the roast duck bones on the dinner paper. Because the tabletop was too small, the two bones accidentally fell onto the tabletop next to the dinner paper. At this time, a waiter aunt came over and said in a slightly accusing tone in front of everyone: "It's difficult to clean when bones are spat on the table." As someone who often cleans at home, I touched the table material and felt It was not difficult, so she politely responded with "Are you okay?" But she continued to emphasize: "Don't spit bones on the table when eating." However, coming from the south, I am not used to using a plate to wrap the roast duck and put the bones and other vegetables at the same time, so I chose to spit it out on the dinner paper. Even doing so would be criticized in public. What was even more unpleasant was that when we ordered the dishes in two batches, the waiter complained that this would separate the food orders and seemed very impatient. During the meal, before we finished eating, she kept coming over to remove the plates, which was very disturbing. In the end, she removed all the tableware but did not completely clean the table, leaving a bone behind. We had thought about ordering more desserts and drinks, but her bad attitude made us give up and go home early. This meal ruined my impression of this restaurant. Unfortunately, I recommended it to my colleagues before, but now I would rather spend more money to eat roast duck in its restaurant than come here again.

Since I don't live far away, I often eat here, but this experience was quite bad. After entering the door, the staff learned that we didn't have a reservation and wouldn't let us go inside. Maybe they were searching for available seats on the computer. At this time, another wave of customers came in. When they learned that they had made reservations, the staff actually gave up searching and arranged for them first. After sitting down, he only told me to scan the QR code to order food and there was no other communication. We waited for a long time before the drinks were served to us, and when the aunt served the drinks, she threw the piece of paper on the cup on the table, and then slammed the drink on the mat. I found the whole process quite rude. The process of serving the dishes afterwards was also frustrating. Some dishes were placed far away from us on the table and could not be reached at all. Some were placed close to my hands, so I had no place to put my hands and had to adjust them myself. . When I finally checked out, I told them at least three times that I wanted to pay before someone came over to pay. When I finally left, no one greeted me, but they greeted everyone at other tables.

Last Sunday we brought our friends for lunch cuz we were there before and thought it was a decent Cantonese restaurant. But it turned out to be an extremely unpleasant experience as one waitress (middle age with black glasses) was extremely rude with us. While we were trying to decide what to get, she came to us several times, telling us that we were taking too long, that we had to hurry up. By the end of our meal, seeing that we have not finished our food yet, she came several times again and complained that we were taking too long. This is not acceptable. I will not recommend this place anymore.

A great Chinese restaurant with plenty of seating and a bustling atmosphere. When we visited, it was very crowded, but luckily, we managed to get a table without a booking. Overall, the food was enjoyable. While the dim sum wasn’t the best I’ve had in Germany, it was still good enough to satisfy. What truly stood out for me was the Beijing roasted duck. As one of my favorite dishes, I’ve often struggled to find a place in Germany that matches my standard. This restaurant nailed it—the duck was perfectly roasted with a crispy skin and flavorful meat, just like the authentic version I enjoyed in China. If you’re a fan of Beijing roasted duck, this is definitely the place to go.

First of all: The service was very friendly, competent and nice. Initially, however, it was a bit hectic to take the urgent drink order. The hectic calmed down when we realized that we wanted to enjoy the meal without any time pressure. The authentic food was excellent, even if not all dishes met the (German?) taste (subjectively fish, scallops were rather under-seasoned). We are really looking forward to your next visit! !!! Correction after the second visit:!!! Unfortunately, the joy of the second visit was not confirmed in any way! In the entrance area, after a long wait, we were loudly shouted from behind the counter across the restaurant to follow us to the table. The perceived reservation was apparently not confirmed on the booking portal and is classified there as “cancelled”. For this reason, another reservation for a business meal at another restaurant was canceled. The time required for this correction - unnecessary! After the rather rude seating assignment with two menus for four people, the drinks and food orders with six starters and four main courses were taken after about 15 minutes. The restaurant was at best 70% full of guests. The starters came quickly and one after the other as requested were served before the drinks! While the starters were being consumed, the first main courses were served very quickly. When the last main courses were served, the lack of rice was noticed (with a note) and the table was served unusually quickly with a pot of rice. The relatively boring, barely seasoned main courses were at times lukewarm to cold. For some unknown reason, a second container of rice was served in between?! Here we had the opportunity to order the drinks we needed. The new wait time does not need to be carried out any further. A "blackhead" had to be content with a drink + spirits before leaving for 2 hours, 15 minutes! The additional noise pollution caused by numerous fallen dishes and glasses was very reminiscent of a hen party! After these experiences, I will immediately revise the recommendations to friends and acquaintances! With such quality deficiencies or fluctuations in service and food quality, another visit is no longer an option for me. Conclusion: An expensive bad investment in all respects!

Best hong kong style dishes in Germany

One star is already too many. I'm not a person who wants to do bad things to others, but what I experienced today was the very last thing. I made an online reservation. When we were there it said no reservation found, wait (despite the reservation). With children waiting for half an hour, another lady comes out, we don't have any tables, why don't they tell us right away before the half hour wait time would be the last one. From now on we'll only go to Fuyuan, they also have dim sum and the service is top notch.

More than “the Chinese guy around the corner”. Excellent food, large selection. Be sure to try the crispy tofu pockets. Very good seafood and the crispy duck is also recommended. Make a reservation as a precaution, it is - and rightly so - full at the weekend. Gladly again and again!

This restaurant was amazing! A friend told me about this restaurant and I was fascinated how the foods so good. I came this Dec, I had to show my vaccine card first and then was seated. My friend chose the menu and everything came one by one after around 30 minutes (drinks came first after ordered). My favorite food is Aubergine, kuew tiaw with beef, charsiew and salted fried tofu! But everything is super duper delish and, homey. The service is also great. I could get as many rice as I want, and hot water (for tea) as much as I can. The ppl were nice (especially the malay lady!) Price per person: around 19EU (when you eat with 8 ppl and ordered 7 dishes) I will come again next time for Dim-Sum!

My recent visit to this restaurant was extremely disappointing due to blatant racial discrimination. Upon arrival, we were instructed to scan a QR code to order our food. However, there was no network available in the restaurant, making it impossible for us to place an order. We asked the server for help, but they refused to assist us with manual ordering, claiming that because there was no network, the kitchen wouldn’t be able to confirm whether or not we successfully placed an order. We were told to wait at our table until the network was restored, which was completely unreasonable. To make matters worse, we noticed that local customers who arrived after us were given manual assistance by the same staff, while we continued to be ignored and told to scan the code. The fact that the server refused to assist us but helped others made it clear that we were being discriminated against based on our race. On top of that, the staff’s attitude was terrible—they were rude and lacked basic courtesy. This is unacceptable and outrageous. I would not recommend this place to anyone, as no one deserves to be treated in such a disrespectful and discriminatory manner. This now includes the point about the rude behavior and lack of polite language from the staff. Won’t back again.

The service was terrible, though the food was fine. Our server didn’t inform us that all dishes came with rice, which wasn't listed on the menu, so we ordered extra rice unnecessarily. When my parents asked why she hadn’t told us, she rudely responded, "Idk they didn’t serve dishes with rice in China." I live in both Canada and China, and rice usually only comes with fast food dishes in both places. She even spoke poorly of us while my mom was in the washroom. Instead of asking discriminatory questions, she could’ve simply explained their policy.

Best dim sums in Germany. We tried prawn dumplings, siu mai, rice rolls, beef tripe, deep fried octopus and all of them are so authentic, delicious and freshly made. Beautifully decorated.

Food very good and large menu. I didn't like the ordering process via App Fund. I didn't find the app very self-explanatory and ordered a drink twice. But it wasn't bad. The atmosphere is typically Chinese and you have to like it (not my thing)... but I go there for the food. Been there twice already.

As a HKer it has been difficult to find authentic HK cuisine (Dim sum or fried rice/noodles) in Germany to ease the homesick, until I found this restaurant 2 years ago. Since then I have come here multiple times whenever I travel thru Munich. Their dim sum is homemade and fresh, without MSG - while most other Chinese restaurants’ ones are frozen and simply reheated. My other favorite dishes are Roasted pork (Cha Siu), fried rice noodle with beef, and mixed seafood & Tofu pot. They also have a weekly special menu which you can order their seasonal dishes. Most of their servers are friendly and polite. There are incidents that food is served slower than usual, due to peak time, but I have only experienced once.

I've been wanting to go there for a while because I heard that it was delicious even in the Japanese community. All the dishes I ordered were satisfying, including my favorite lobster dish and beef senmai dish. I want to go again. The store is clean and the service is attentive.

The food is delicious. It's the most delicious Chinese restaurant I've eaten in Munich. However, the additional order that I ordered did not arrive even after waiting for 50 minutes, and they kept saying it would arrive soon, but in the end, the order was not even placed and was only added to the bill. Even the bowl of rice I ordered didn't come out... If you look at the food, it's a great restaurant.

My wife had dim sum and chicken with Sichuan sauce, I had sour and spicy soup and crispy duck with vegetables and rice. Everything extremely delicious! Price-performance ratio very good. Most of the people there were Chinese compatriots. This fact alone speaks for this restaurant. We felt a bit "handled" by the staff. Otherwise we had a nice stay. We will be back definitely.

I've probably been there 4-5 times (on site and take away). The food is incredible. Everything prepared fresh and delicious. I ordered take away the day before yesterday and it was amazing. The rice was too much, gladly less next time :). I recommend dim sum, but the rest is also super delicious 下次见！

We spent the evening at the Oriental Hong Kong Kitchen and were very impressed. We ordered the following dishes: rice leaf rolls with shrimp, poached chicken with chili oil vinegar, water spinach, ha gau and clay pot rice (pork and Chinese sausage caramelized with bok choy). The rice in the clay pot then becomes particularly crispy. What I have to note: I have never had such delicious rice rolls in Germany - not crumbly, simply delicious. I have also never had rice in a clay pot in Germany. It was also positive that many Chinese people ate in the restaurant; this means that the food tastes very authentic. The service was very courteous and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and nicely decorated.

Order using phone at a restaurant? No way. It s expensive i want a real waiter taking the order or they can make decent human prices

I lived in Düsseldorf for many years and have been unhappy in Munich for a long time because the selection of dim sum is usually tragically small. Here the portions are generous, the prices are fair and the taste is fantastic. Everything you can't get anywhere else in Munich. Very, very friendly service and also creative non-alcoholic drinks. I took a taxi there especially for my birthday to finally try it. Now I know why my friends raved so much that they only order dim sum here.

Today we got fried rice with chicken, among other things. The rice was colorless (fried too short), the meat was in huge chunks that weren't cooked through at all. Not enjoyable for me. Of course, I only noticed this at home. After we complained, the money was returned, but there was no reasonable apology for the hassle and the unnecessary journey. Overall not recommended.

We already know some Cantonese cuisines. But this one is absolutely awesome. Really good food and great service. There were three of us there and we are all very critical. But the cuisine is excellent. Yes, not cheap but not expensive either. The price is absolutely justified for the quality.

This is probably the only restaurant in and around Munich that offers authentic dim sum. Most restaurants in Munich offer fusion or frozen food options. They shouldn't actually be called Dim Sum. Here you immediately notice that the dim sum is prepared in-house. We recommend the rice leaf rolls with shrimp, har gau, shui mai, tofu rolls and the radish potato pancakes. The roasted duck on the bone or the roasted pork (char siu) are also really good. If you're more adventurous, try the pork ribs, tripe or beef stomach ;).

A very, very good restaurant in Karlsfeld. The dim sums here are fresh, homemade and authentic. The duck is also very, very tasty. I have to take the S-Bahn from Munich to get there, but the trip is definitely worth it every time. I haven't eaten so well in such a long time. Thanks! Praise for the kitchen and the owner!
