Very good Croatian restaurant. Large selection, moderate prices, very good food. If the heavy traffic on Münchner Straße doesn't bother you, you can sit on the large terrace and enjoy the evening sun.

Very nicely prepared and very tasty food. The service was great. I celebrated my 18th birthday there and we were looked after very well. A clear recommendation. The wine cellar is beautifully decorated and you can connect with jukeboxes. It is perfect for a birthday party for up to 30 people. Price-performance is top. Really perfect for birthdays like this or even for a family dinner. Smokers could go out to the beautifully decorated terrace at any time and sit there and relax. Thanks to the whole team, a birthday couldn't have been better.

We wanted to go there on a Tuesday at 4 p.m., ALL the tables were empty, there wasn't a single table that was occupied and we weren't allowed to choose a table because it was reserved. When I asked when it was reserved (we wanted to stay there for a maximum of half an hour, just eat quickly), we didn't get an answer. Then we turned around and left. Very impolite!!!

My wife and I really enjoyed the food and the ambience and if we are in the area again, we will definitely come back to Zadar. The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. We went there very often to eat and it was always very good. That has changed a lot. I ordered my liver, it was like the sole of a shoe, fried potatoes were burnt and floating in oil. Food is generally slapped carelessly onto the plate. Waiters are always nice and friendly, but that's of no use to me when the quality has deteriorated so much. I returned the food barely touched and complained. I received no compensation and had to pay the full price...

Unfortunately I have to correct my rating. From the looks of it, the restaurant's ownership appears to have changed. New menu, new ambience, new waiters. Unfortunately the food has deteriorated extremely. We used to enjoy eating there because the portions were always quite cheap. Now we were there again after a long time and I have to say, pure disappointment! I ordered spaghetti bolognese and a salad. The salad was definitely bagged salad, which is not possible in a restaurant. Then I don't have to go to the restaurant, I can buy bags of salt myself and save money too. No whole leaves, just a few small chopped leaves and cabbage and that's what they call a side salad 😦 Spaghetti Bolognese was also inedible, tasted like it came out of a jar and was just made warm... Drinks were also very expensive and spagetti Bolognese cost over 12€. Sorry, but I've eaten much better and cheaper freshly cooked spaghetti elsewhere. Sorry, but you can scare away customers that way because we'll never go there again.

We ordered takeaway food and the rice was completely missing from both dishes. The bread had no taste and it was just too expensive! It's a nice shop! There was a piece of cartilage in the civabcici. We won't come anymore!

Good Friday in Zadar in Karlsfeld was a culinary hit. In addition to the excellent sea bream, we also enjoyed the grilled trout, both perfectly prepared and refined at the table. The service was friendly and attentive, an ideal holiday lunch. We recommend. Price / offer: Very good.

I took a long time with the review because I thought I'd try it a few more times. But it didn't do anything. So last May we had a family dinner with 15 people. We were in the back room, which was ok. We had the tables from 12 p.m. The order went quickly, great! However, things went downhill from there. We had 2 children with us, 4 years and 7 months. After we waited for over an hour and nothing came, we asked what was going on with the food. What happened? NOTHING! From then on, no waiter came to ask us to at least order drinks. 30 minutes later I asked again what was going on with the food, at least for the children. Then the answer: What we think they're doing here, if we also want starters, and ideally all at the same time, then it just takes so long. Aha! Well 20 minutes later, i.e. 1 hour and 50 minutes later, the food finally came and what can I say, 12 out of 15 dishes were cold! We've probably been standing somewhere in the kitchen for over an hour waiting for I don't know what. After I complained, nothing came except disregard! No drink on the house, no apology, nothing! But the bill arrived quickly. €550 for nothing. Thanks! We are long-established Karlsfeld residents and have known the restaurant for over 20 years. I am Croatian and know the cuisine. I've supported the restaurant for decades and have celebrated communions, ceremonies, baptisms and birthdays there over the years, but what I've experienced the last few times is really too much. We've happily left a lot of money there for over 20 years, but too much is too much. We're definitely not coming back. Maybe you should urgently rethink your time management and, above all, the service.

Hello :) I eat at ZADAR more often. And can only recommend it. Whether it's during my lunch break or when I invite my mom (from Saxony) over for a nice meal... For me it's the best meal in the whole area... Today I quickly went there on my bike and picked up some pork medallions to take with me...! Delicious!! Kind regards to the waiters I trust!! Ono kad odeš u Njemačku pa završiš u restoranu Zadar 😁 Ništa ne govori Deuschland kao konobari koji pričaju naški. Osim klasične domaće klope ima i nekih specijaliteta, ali to nismo probali jer sam bio s ekipom koja krka mesinu a ne neke germanske poslastice. Došli smo malo na knap, dali su nam dva i pol sata da pojedemo platu jer nakon toga je stol bio rezerviran, što smo mi promptno i napravili, nisam ni sekunde sumnjao u požerabilnosne sposobnosti ljudi s kojima sam bio. Nakon malo svađe jel nam to dosta što smo naručili, popustili smo i rekli ajd dobro donesi nam kolko zi misliš da je dost, i bome, bilo je dosta! Kao apsolutni higlight su neke šnite šunkice, fantastične i malo reš zapečene, ćevosi dobri a jedino su pljeskavice bile malo suhe i meh. Salatica topić za one koji ih vole. Za domaći gastro ugođaj, svakako posjeti!

Kao prvo željela bih započeti sa hranom koja se poboljšala u zadnje vrijeme, također osoblje veoma ljubazno ali sto me je jako razocaralo da u WC je napunjeno sve mirisima a ne čisti se, i kako je malo prostor dobije nepodnosljiv miris, gadilo mi se sjesti na skoljku posto kada se podigne daska vidi se koliko je užasno, također ispod i po ecken. Ovo je samo konstruktivna kritika kako bi se nesto promjenilo

Besuch mit der ganzen Familie. Vorweg, das Essen war in Ordnung, Preis-Leistung meiner Meinung nach schon am oberen Rand (Gerichte großteils zwischen 14 und 16 EUR). Was enttäuschend ausfiel war der Service. Es waren drei Kellner im wenig besuchten Restaurant. Zwei Kellener ignorierten uns einfach vollkommen, der dritte der wohl für unseren Tisch zuständig war, war eher mehr an der Unterhaltung mit seinen Kollegen interessiert. Wir fühlten uns nicht willkommen. Wir ziehen bald in die Nähe, das Restaurant hat uns aber leider als Gäste jetzt schon verloren.

In den letzten Monaten zum Stammgast geworden. Essen super lecker und auch zügig fertig. Auch am Samstag Abend wenn die Bude voll ist und im Nebenraum noch eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft ist. Im Sommer kann man auch mittlerweile sehr schön draußen sitzen. Es wurde hier viel neu gemacht und ist überaus gemütlich und angenehm! Besonders gern mag ich aber tatsächlich die Kellner! Ich komm sehr gerne zum Essen und auch immer öfter!
