The food here was very tasty and plentiful. Very friendly service. The ambience is a bit reminiscent of old times but it is rustic and cozy.

Great insider tip, delicious food

We're hiking friends and we called to see if we could come for lunch an hour before closing time on Sunday. We agreed. At the entrance all we heard from the staff was... the kitchen can go down, two more guests come and I just offer them the roulade . Drinks came quickly, the chalk board (5 dishes) was turned over to us without any indication, when we ordered... there were only 2 left... Service staff didn't give us a welcome feeling, but the food was hearty and tasted very good. Nice small guest room but there was a lot of noise or simply very, very loud guests.

We spontaneously came across this restaurant while passing through and were thrilled! The beef roulade is sensational, just like it was made by my mother! Really nice service and fair prices! Not recommended 👍🏻

Everything was very good, one thing I didn't like was that 3 euros per person were added to the bill for setting the table. A white tablecloth, cutlery and napkins were set at the table, nothing more. But we had a very nice evening with the family.

Guys, it's just great here. Top food at prices that are no longer available. At the salad bar everyone can look for whatever their heart desires and if you don't get full from the food that follows, there's something wrong with you. From the outside you think: Oh God. Where did I end up here? But as soon as you get inside, you immediately feel comfortable and at home.

We come from Hamburg to visit family about twice a year and we don't miss the opportunity to go to the "Wühlmaus" to eat. At Carola & Sigi it's absolutely family-like and the schnitzels and the rest of the menu are second to none. Always a pleasure 👍😄

Wir hatten Würzfleisch und Gulasch. Beides war lecker. Die Bedienung nett. Das Ambiente passt zur Burg.
