We, my wife and I, went to Schlemmer-Kaefer for the first time last night. We received the voucher as a gift from a good friend, otherwise we probably wouldn't have even considered the restaurant. Today we took the route to Schleiz and wanted to pay a visit to the gourmet beetle. Reservation by telephone was no problem, the menu then came via WhatsApp with the request to indicate your wishes for the meal in advance on the day of the visit. A great thing, it not only reduces waste in the restaurant, but also makes the whole thing more enjoyable Table more fluid. First of all, we were warmly welcomed by Jens, a service person who is second to none! With one or two quick sayings, professional service and a huge portion of hospitality, he was one of the reasons we made the evening unforgettable. Let's get to the food: great! There's not much more to say about it. A great, sophisticated vegetarian burger that turned every bite into a taste experience, roulade schnitzel, cheeseburger... everything was just great. At this point a big compliment to Mandy, you are a very special restaurateur and cook. The hours flew by and that was also due to the nice and pleasant conversations with Jens and Mandy, which gave us some background information, for example why the gourmet beetle is called what it is called ;) Let's make it short: keep it up, stay as you are and we'll definitely see each other again soon, we'll want to enjoy such good food and the pleasant atmosphere again soon ;)

You had to specify what you wanted when making your reservation, but changes were still possible; thank you again for that. What would perhaps be nice would be in-house lemonades that match the unique house. But even so, the journey from Leipzig was definitely worth it!

Wir sind selten so höflich und zuvorkommend bedient worden wie hier. Die Burger, welche die Chefin alle persönlich per Hand macht waren ein absoluter Genuss und der karamelisierte Schoko-Pudding hat zurecht seinen permanenten Platz auf der Speisekarte. Der Schlemmer-Kaefer ist eine exzellente Gelegenheit, um Gastronomie mit Herz und vorzüglichem Essen in einer Wohlfühlatmosphäre zu erleben. Besonders empfehle ich den vegetarischen Burger 💪.

Sehr hübsches Lokal mit gemütlichem Biergarten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Speisekarte ist nicht übermäßig groß, aber trotzdem ausreichend. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend. Vielleicht könnte man die Karte noch um ein oder zwei fleischlose Hauptgerichte (z. B. Fisch oder Nudeln) erweitern.

Sie haben schon mehrere Familienfeierlichkeiten für uns ausgerichtet. Jedesmal sehr lecker. Kuchen und Buffet sehr zu empfehlen. Das Personal immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
