Great schnitzels and friendly staff!

Eating chicken on Friday, oh man, that was good 👍. Makes you laugh! The landlady cracks out one joke after another. We'll definitely go there again. Many thanks to the whole team 😘

The best chicken in Saarland can only be found here. The manager of the house is super nice. Children's wishes are taken into account here.

The food is quite good, as is the service, depending on who's serving. The ambiance is okay; the owner doesn't care about the nice stuff. The best thing to do here is have a (overpriced) beer, grab a bite to eat, and leave.

The food was delicious and plentiful. There's nothing you could complain about. But prices are already high. E.g. extra sauce for the schnitzel €4.70.😳 The following was negative. There were 7 of us, including a 7 year old child. Normally I know that the children always get their food first, especially since you order a children's menu. Here it is probably the other way around. You could see the child's sad face when everyone at the table had already had their food but she hadn't 😟. Some other guests who arrived much later were obviously served and finished quicker.🤨 We won't be going there any time soon.

The staff was very nice and the food was also delicious. The only thing I didn't really like was that there was no internet and no reception at all. But it's not that bad either.

The Oldenburger Hof is absolutely recommended! The service was consistently friendly, attentive and very helpful - you feel welcome from the start. The ambience is bright and inviting. The food was a real highlight: excellently prepared, with a lot of sophistication and a creative touch. We were particularly impressed by the Vitello Tonnato, the fried chicken with wild garlic and potato salad and the potato ravioli with a Beurre Blanc - each dish is a taste experience. Classics are given a modern and skilful reinterpretation here. The price-performance ratio is also very good – absolutely appropriate for this quality. We'll definitely be back!

Actually a really great restaurant. Brilliant food and actually the service is really nice. But there was a lady who didn't think it was right that we were left out even though I had let us know. If she had said it nicely, everything would be fine, but no, she says, and I quote: "Please sit back down immediately!" If the nice gentlemen next to us hadn't said anything, we would have gone in because we felt cramped. But the worst thing was that everyone who ordered either after us or with us got something 25 minutes before despite repeated requests. When they paid, we still waited. And waiting 50 minutes for 2 chicken wings with fries is not possible. Friends who ordered after us then We waited 50 minutes for a fries and currywurst. Sorry but just no. My friend's sister cried because it was apparently difficult to make a fries in 15 minutes and if you say it was busy, yes it was, but the people who order first also get it first.

Reserved as a larger group but waited forever for food... over 2 hours... Oh well, nice blanket and at least the food was good at the end.
