Was there last night,highly recommended,really nice fun staff and great food and a cool fun Chef.

You don't go to a schnitzel house to eat healthy. So I don't pay attention to calories, fat or salt content here. All dishes are very tasty with decent portions! Beautifully prepared (see pictures). The service was super friendly! The only thing that is really annoying is the smell of cooking in the back area. Otherwise you can have a really good time here!

I don't understand the good reviews here. More of a pub with a bar and slot/dart machines. The small dining room (4 tables) is absolutely overlit and there is little romance at the table with a washable plastic tablecloth. Deep-fried (ready-made) schnitzel with fries and salad for 19.50 euros. You don't expect that in a restaurant called Schnitzelhaus. The service was friendly, but it doesn't make up for the poor quality of the food. We wouldn't eat here again.

After traveling in the car all day, we were very hungry😉 Very nice atmosphere, service very friendly and the chefs are also in a good mood 😂 The food was very, very tasty and the visit was really worth it. If time allows before we have to go home, we will definitely eat here again.

ABSOLUTELY NOT recommended. After 45 minutes of waiting we didn't receive any food, all the other guests who came after us had their food. Ambience very simple and musty. Smell of grease from the deep fryer everywhere.

I am very disappointed because honesty comes first for me. I asked if the schnitzel is homemade or if it is a frozen product. I was told it would be freshly made. Anyone who knows anything about the industry immediately checks that it is a frozen product and that it is fried. Sauces remind me of Maggi products like fondor. Then the noodles were placed in a non-tight container which meant that the sauce was spread throughout the bag. I also compared the prices with a real schnitzel house where everything is made in-house, even this one was a little cheaper. I find it quite paradoxical what some people write here.

By chance of our place of relaxation for the night we found this charming little restaurant which was well rated and indeed it deserves all these stars we arrived at this restaurant full of charm and conviviality. Our meal filled our stomachs and delighted our taste buds for a not so exorbitant price tag for a lovely evening. We highly recommend it for passing travelers and locals of course.

First the driver got lost, but that wasn't his fault, he got the assignment to the wrong village, the driver gets 5* very very friendly. The food: steak through and very dry and small, schnitzel ok but tastes like a frozen product, chocolate soufflé with spray cream and ice cream, I have to honestly say that this tastes better in a certain fast food chain. On the whole, far too expensive for too little quality, unfortunately not the right restaurant for us.

I can only warmly recommend the Schnitzelhaus Nennig! The restaurant offers an incredible variety of dishes and the portions are very generous. Prices are surprisingly low for the quality and quantity of food you get. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the entire team is extremely friendly and accommodating. All in all a perfect experience! This restaurant deserves 6 out of 5 stars🥰

Mega nice family business. The guys really try hard and with their Medeterian style of European classics they don't even know Ken. The selection was shocking and I as a Gadtronom asked myself the typical questions. What is the mise en place and can that with the huge card be fresh. ANSWER..."Yes it can!!" Everything inside has been redone. The staff is super super friendly, you really have to praise them here. The food came quickly and tasted good. Jägerschnitzel as we know it... Large portions and the prices are adjusted. If you want to enjoy a pleasant meal with a glass of wine on a terrace in the evening, this is the right place for you. We will definitely come back again!

We went there specifically because of the extensive menu and the good reviews. Unfortunately the menu wasn't half as long as shown above. There was no grilled food and no gyros specialties. Well, it’s also called “Schnitzelhaus”. It was a shame anyway, after a week of Saarland food I had an appetite for gyros and the like again. The food was still good, as was the service. And the menu could easily be customized on the website.

Went there spontaneously for dinner. Ordered cordon bleu once and schnitzel Toscana with ham and cheese gratinated in cream sauce. Both schnitzels were perfect and really tasty. Food was served quickly with a side salad and a side dish of your choice - fries, croquettes Service very friendly. Quite unlikely on a street. Lots of bikers and beautiful cars drive past on the street - great to watch and listen to. Maybe not for every man. We were very satisfied and can fully recommend eating a schnitzel there!

The service was great, but the schnitzels on offer were not worthy of a schnitzel house. The schnitzels were made in the deep fryer and the meat including the breading tasted very artificial. It's a shame, I was hoping for more.

I'm very disappointed. I expect a pan-fried schnitzel from a schnitzel house. Unfortunately there was only schnitzel from the deep fryer, like at a normal food truck. Apparently there were currently no frying pans available. I can probably buy them in any supermarket! A discount on the meal was not considered. I would have expected information before ordering, which was not the case. We were passing through and quite hungry. That's why we stopped at this location. We were somewhat full, but not all schnitzels are the same. We won't be coming back.

I will miss my gyros, bcs it was the best thing and my fave. BUT! The new restaurant is luckily very good. Their portions are more than enough and their schnitzel super satisfying! ♡ Also their staff is super friendly. Very happy and I am excited to explore their menu in the future.

First: The lady who served us was really very friendly and accommodating. The ambience was also very appealing and clean, what was annoying were the slot machines. It's more like a gas station or a snack bar The food is ok, portions large enough and attractively prepared. BUT: at prices of around €20 for a schnitzel, the quality is inferior. Fryer schnitzel in finished quality, at least in terms of appearance and taste. It has to be better for this price, or you stick to the chip shop quality and adjust the prices. 2 schnitzels, 1 children's schnitzel and 3 drinks: €60 is just an announcement. Even though Luxembourg isn't far, this snack bar is in Germany, so you shouldn't forget that when calculating the price. Otherwise I'm afraid the effort to renovate and reopen will have been in vain. No matter what happens, if someone takes over here, keep the waitress with the red hair, she'll save your butt when it comes to the rating

I'm so excited about the food, everything is fresh, the meat comes from the Schwamm company, no frozen food! I'm freshly breaded. I'm a cook and I immediately notice that those who write to me are not used to anything good or have no taste and the conditions are very friendly and FRIENDLY! It's become my favorite restaurant and I'm happy when the weather is good and you can enjoy the food outside.

During my visit to the Schnitzelhaus Perl-Nennig, I was very surprised by the courtesy and friendliness of the wait staff. The food is great and plentiful. I was able to see for myself the location, storage and processing of food. I I can judge that, I come from the food industry. In a conversation with the restaurateur, I learned that the fresh meat is delivered from the company Schwamm & Cie from Saarbrücken. The cold chain is therefore not interrupted until processing. It is the same with salads, sauces and breadings. They will Freshly bought and prepared every day. Not like some guests complain about frozen meat or sauces from the bottle. There are such complainers everywhere and they are not used to anything else. I can only recommend the young team that took over the Schnitzelhaus 3 months ago Wishing you all the luck.And continue like this

Too many ready-made products and inexperienced chefs for a restaurant. Too expensive for a snack. Allergy information on the card is incorrect. E.g. There is no (f) for gluten on pizza and breaded schnitzel. Can be dangerous if you have various allergies or intolerances

Stopped for lunch on the way to Luxembourg. The Wiener-style schnitzel was frozen and the salad was dressed with a ready-made sauce. My husband had a baked dish with minced meat, cheese and potatoes. The potatoes were still very hard, so not fully cooked. This was communicated to the waitress and she wanted to bring another dish straight away, which we refused because my husband was full. We wouldn't come back to this restaurant.

Overall, I had a very good experience at the restaurant. The ambience exceeded my expectations, and the staff were friendly and attentive. While they aimed for a high-end experience, I appreciated that I could enjoy a basic margarita pizza, which I found quite tasty. The rigatoni with pepper rahmen sauce was decent, though it didn't quite suit my palate. Nonetheless, I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.

We were excited about the new Schnitzelhaus. Unfortunately we were disappointed because we had expected a lot more choice of schnitzel sauces instead of a menu with pasta and pizza. The sauces didn't taste good and were definitely not freshly made but from the bag. A pity.

First the good: It was delicious. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was frozen and the sauce was out of the bag. So at best a good snack in a nice atmosphere at overpriced restaurant prices. Tip to wine drinkers: Since the price calculation of the wine is apparently not subject to any logic, 3 x 0.25l is significantly cheaper than a bottle.

The salad was really tasty. The pasta dishes were of poor quality, so the price-performance ratio was not right. Maybe we should try the schnitzel next time.

I have visited this restaurant for a long time and was very pleased with the renovation. It has become very comfortable. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Our food came at the same time and was really hot. Since it is now a schnitzel house, I tried a schnitzel Bolognese. I had 2 schnitzels on my plate, plus fries and salad in an extra bowl. The portion would have been enough for me and my wife, but I couldn't finish it, even though it tasted very good. I can only recommend this place and I will probably stop here more often and eat well.

Wir kommen seit Jahren immer wieder in dieses Lokal. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass die Preise immer höher und die Portionen immer kleiner werden. Es ist verständlich, dass es die Gastronomie seit Corona nicht gerade einfach hat, aber von einem Grillteller für fast 20 Euro sollte man wenigstens satt werden....

Wir haben das Restaurant durch Zufall gefunden, da es etwas abgelegen liegt. Ich hatte ein Gyros - Spezial bestellt. Die Portionen waren üppig, aber leider war das Fleisch lauwarm. Natürlich wurde mir sofort Ersatz angeboten, auf Kosten des Hauses. Die Bedienung war super nett, und hat sich mehrfach entschuldigt. Ich würde das Restaurant trotzdem weiterempfehlen, da wir uns alles in allem doch sehr wohl gefühlt haben :)

Essen war lecker , Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ambiente hat wenig mit einem Griechen zu tun aber die Terrasse ist sehr schön. Wir kommen wieder.

Waren mit dem Fahrrad auf der Durchreise. Das Essen war super wie so bei den meisten Griechischen Lokalen. Die Durchgangstrasse hat uns wenig gestört. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Für die Zukunft dem Team alles gute.

Das Lokal liegt an einer Hauptstraße. Die Außenterrassen lassen daher ein wenig am Gemütlichkeit vermissen. Bedienung total nett und freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Speisen (wir hatten beide eine Pizza) waren sehr lecker. Preise im mittleren Bereich.

Die Schnitzel waren etwas klein, aber ich bin satt geworden das Personal ist cool und der Kaffee nach dem essen war ebenfalls gut 👍

Das Gyros Special sehr schmackhaft, auch der Beilagensalat. Das Souffle Schoko sehr schön dekoriert und lecker. Hervorzuheben ist die überaus freundliche und aufmerksame junge Dame welche uns bedient hat. Sie hat volle 5 Sterne verdient. Den Aussenbereich könnte man etwas schöner gestalten indem z.B die vorhandenen Blumenkübel vom Gras befreit und mit Blumen bepflanzt. Kleine Aktion mit grosser Wirkung.

Auf der Durchfahrt entdeckt. Sehr schöne Terrasse, Bedienung sehr freundlich, das Essen (Griechisch) sehr lecker! Wir hatten verschiedene Gyros Gerichte. Leider sehr laut, weil an einer Durchfahrtsstrasse und direkt neben einer Autowerkstatt.

Wir haben über die Homepage bestellt. Uns wurde ein falsches Gericht geliefert. Auf Nachfragen sagte man mir, dass das ein Fehler auf der Homepage sei und ich bei Neulieferung 2,00€ extra zahlen müsse, weil der Preis im Internet falsch sei. Wie kann denn sowas sein, das man online bestellen kann und dann weder die Gerichte noch die Preise stimmen.

I was on a motorcycle tour with four friends. We stopped here for a bite to eat and a hot drink. The food was simple but very good, especially the fries! The staff were very friendly staff and the facilities were very clean.
