If you don't know, this gem isn't easy to find. It's inconspicuous from the street, but if you put yourself in the hands of the waiters, you won't be disappointed. Despite two employees being sick, there was no sense of rush. The service was excellent and very friendly. Simply fantastic. The chef not only worked in the kitchen but also served the food to cope with the emergency. That shows how great the team is. And then the food... A dream, whether schnitzel or rump steak, everything was perfect and delicious. The rump steak was cooked to perfection, and the chef personally made sure it was cooked to perfection. It was a fantastic experience and a culinary delight. We would love to come back. Thank you very much, and keep up the good work!

Friendly service, excellent and generous dishes (schnitzel). Cons: Charged €2 for a side dish for a few tagliatelle?!? Uninteresting dessert (rough presentation and nothing outstanding on the plate) at €8.50.

It's a small and cozy restaurant. We started with a delicious pesto cream with fresh, tasty bread. The starter and main course are super tasty. It's a shame the restaurant is so far away from us. Otherwise, we would come here more often :)

We celebrated our communion there. We put together a menu, which was executed exactly as planned. We also brought the decorations there, and they decorated it beautifully. We were very pleased. Our beef soup was unfortunately only lukewarm (but I had told the waitress 😀), but it was very tasty. The main course was pork medallion with gravy, potatoes, green asparagus, and a side salad. Very tasty! We were extremely satisfied!

From the outside it's a bit old and inconspicuous, so to speak, but the owners/operators and the interior are awesome. Arrived at the restaurant at lunchtime and we were still served drinks and a great tasting meal. It's always worth a break and a visit. Keep it up, because whoever is friendly and does a great job will be rewarded. 100% authentic people who do a good job.

Very solid shop! Had turkey schnitzel with fries and pork schnitzel with croquettes. Unfortunately there were very few delicious croquettes, but there was a solid amount of fries. Schnitzel size solid, not big, not small. It was made in the deep fryer (no problem, it usually tastes delicious), but it was a bit dry. I assume that the schnitzels are pre-cooked and then reheated (cook & chill, very common procedure). But then you have to be a little more moderate when pre-cooking 😉. Staff incredibly nice, that made the stay very pleasant! Beer very tasty. Location right on the only street in town. A bit noisy, but not a problem. Terrace very relaxed.

The schnitzels are super tasty, my favorite are the many different sauces. The portions are very large, but I can never stop until the plate is empty. Also highly recommended for delivery!

If you are very hungry and want to eat really tasty food, this is the right place for you. The price-performance ratio is 100% right here. I can particularly recommend the starters “fried mushrooms with ham” and “fried cheese with ham”. 👍👍👍

Upon arrival we received a card and ordered drinks… 30 minutes later the drinks were brought. That was it then. No food was taken, even when asked. Then decided to pay and eat somewhere else. Paying then took forever until someone came! Went with 3 people and there was nothing going on. What a shame!! Not recommended unless you have all day

My wife and I went to the Schnitzelhaus today (not for the first time) and were once again very satisfied. The waitress was very friendly, the food tasted very good. The "Mexico" schnitzel (spicy minced meat sauce with vegetables) with croquettes and salad as well as the daily recommendation (pulled pork burger with split potatoes) were on our table, and the portions were generous. The seasoning is also generous. If you are sensitive to salt, the Schnitzelhaus may not be for you, but we like it very much. We will also be happy to be guests in the future.

You don't go to a schnitzel house to eat healthy. So I don't pay attention to calories, fat or salt content here. All dishes are very tasty with decent portions! Beautifully prepared (see pictures). The service was super friendly! The only thing that is really annoying is the smell of cooking in the back area. Otherwise you can have a really good time here!

I don't understand the good reviews here. More of a pub with a bar and slot/dart machines. The small dining room (4 tables) is absolutely overlit and there is little romance at the table with a washable plastic tablecloth. Deep-fried (ready-made) schnitzel with fries and salad for 19.50 euros. You don't expect that in a restaurant called Schnitzelhaus. The service was friendly, but it doesn't make up for the poor quality of the food. We wouldn't eat here again.

I am very disappointed because honesty comes first for me. I asked if the schnitzel is homemade or if it is a frozen product. I was told it would be freshly made. Anyone who knows anything about the industry immediately checks that it is a frozen product and that it is fried. Sauces remind me of Maggi products like fondor. Then the noodles were placed in a non-tight container which meant that the sauce was spread throughout the bag. I also compared the prices with a real schnitzel house where everything is made in-house, even this one was a little cheaper. I find it quite paradoxical what some people write here.

By chance of our place of relaxation for the night we found this charming little restaurant which was well rated and indeed it deserves all these stars we arrived at this restaurant full of charm and conviviality. Our meal filled our stomachs and delighted our taste buds for a not so exorbitant price tag for a lovely evening. We highly recommend it for passing travelers and locals of course.

First the driver got lost, but that wasn't his fault, he got the assignment to the wrong village, the driver gets 5* very very friendly. The food: steak through and very dry and small, schnitzel ok but tastes like a frozen product, chocolate soufflé with spray cream and ice cream, I have to honestly say that this tastes better in a certain fast food chain. On the whole, far too expensive for too little quality, unfortunately not the right restaurant for us.

I can only warmly recommend the Schnitzelhaus Nennig! The restaurant offers an incredible variety of dishes and the portions are very generous. Prices are surprisingly low for the quality and quantity of food you get. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the entire team is extremely friendly and accommodating. What a nice place with delicious food.

Everything inside has been redone. The staff is super super friendly, you really have to praise them here. The food came quickly and tasted good. Jägerschnitzel as we know it... Large portions and the prices are adjusted. If you want to enjoy a pleasant meal with a glass of wine on a terrace in the evening, this is the right place for you. We will definitely come back again!

We went there specifically because of the extensive menu and the good reviews. Unfortunately the menu wasn't half as long as shown above. There was no grilled food and no gyros specialties. Well, it’s also called “Schnitzelhaus”. It was a shame anyway, after a week of Saarland food I had an appetite for gyros and the like again. The food was still good, as was the service. And the menu could easily be customized on the website.

Went there spontaneously for dinner. Ordered cordon bleu once and schnitzel Toscana with ham and cheese gratinated in cream sauce. Both schnitzels were perfect and really tasty. Food was served quickly with a side salad and a side dish of your choice - fries, croquettes Service very friendly. Quite unlikely on a street. Lots of bikers and beautiful cars drive past on the street - great to watch and listen to. Maybe not for every man. We were very satisfied and can fully recommend eating a schnitzel there!

I'm very disappointed. I expect a pan-fried schnitzel from a schnitzel house. Unfortunately there was only schnitzel from the deep fryer, like at a normal food truck. Apparently there were currently no frying pans available. I can probably buy them in any supermarket! A discount on the meal was not considered. I would have expected information before ordering, which was not the case. We were passing through and quite hungry. That's why we stopped at this location. We were somewhat full, but not all schnitzels are the same. We won't be coming back.

I will miss my gyros, bcs it was the best thing and my fave. BUT! The new restaurant is luckily very good. Their portions are more than enough and their schnitzel super satisfying! ♡ Also their staff is super friendly. Very happy and I am excited to explore their menu in the future.

First: The lady who served us was really very friendly and accommodating. The ambience was also very appealing and clean, what was annoying were the slot machines. It's more like a gas station or a snack bar The food is ok, portions large enough and attractively prepared. BUT: at prices of around €20 for a schnitzel, the quality is inferior. Fryer schnitzel in finished quality, at least in terms of appearance and taste. It has to be better for this price, or you stick to the chip shop quality and adjust the prices. 2 schnitzels, 1 children's schnitzel and 3 drinks: €60 is just an announcement. Even though Luxembourg isn't far, this snack bar is in Germany, so you shouldn't forget that when calculating the price. Otherwise I'm afraid the effort to renovate and reopen will have been in vain. No matter what happens, if someone takes over here, keep the waitress with the red hair, she'll save your butt when it comes to the rating

I'm so excited about the food, everything is fresh, the meat comes from the Schwamm company, no frozen food! I'm freshly breaded. I'm a cook and I immediately notice that those who write to me are not used to anything good or have no taste and the conditions are very friendly and FRIENDLY! It's become my favorite restaurant and I'm happy when the weather is good and you can enjoy the food outside.

During my visit to the Schnitzelhaus Perl-Nennig, I was very surprised by the courtesy and friendliness of the wait staff. The food is great and plentiful. I was able to see for myself the location, storage and processing of food. I I can judge that, I come from the food industry. In a conversation with the restaurateur, I learned that the fresh meat is delivered from the company Schwamm & Cie from Saarbrücken. The cold chain is therefore not interrupted until processing. It is the same with salads, sauces and breadings. They will Freshly bought and prepared every day. Not like some guests complain about frozen meat or sauces from the bottle. There are such complainers everywhere and they are not used to anything else. I can only recommend the young team that took over the Schnitzelhaus 3 months ago Wishing you all the luck.And continue like this
