We had a wonderful meal on the terrace. The service was very friendly and efficient. We received a delicious appetizer on the house. For our main course, we had a schnitzel "Vienna Art" and a schnitzel "Permasan" with bolognese sauce. It came with a salad and delicious, crispy fries. Delicious!

A simple but good restaurant with German and Italian dishes. The portions are very generous, and the quality is well above average. It was striking that our very attentive and polite waiter spoke to us in almost accentless Dutch. He's young, but his service is very mature!

We went on Tuesday with four people and one small child. The food was okay. We asked for bread and got three small pieces of baguette. The bread was listed on the bill for €2.50. That's outrageous; we've never paid a surcharge for a piece of bread before.

Highly recommended. From the street, it doesn't look as spacious and well-maintained as it is inside. A wide selection of food, and so far, no disappointments. Friendly staff and cold beer are included.

I was really surprised by this place. They have so many kinds of schnitzel — I didn’t think such a simple dish could be made in so many tasty ways. And the dessert was just amazing, full of flavors, honestly good enough for a Michelin star. The waitress and the chef were very kind and full of positive energy.

Back in the day, under the old tenant, this place was recommended. Since it became a schnitzel house, I haven't been able to find anything good here. Today we were more dissatisfied than we've rarely been in a restaurant. First, the salmon arrived in one piece with a blackened underside on the salad. Due to a complaint, it was returned, and we received a eloquent apology and a free drink. Then the same salmon, this time cut into pieces and with the burns cut off, came to our table again. Apart from my industrial schnitzel from the hairdresser, this was a no-go. We're still waiting for the apology drink, by the way. Final conclusion: never again for us. Even the pizza vending machine at the train station is a better alternative. PS: Even three waiters are no help if they'd rather spend ages talking to individual customers than do their job. We had to make ourselves known just to get the menu. And this continued from ordering to paying. We eat out a lot, but we've never been as disappointed as we were here.

We were cycling from the Netherlands to Switzerland and had a schnitzel here. The waitresses were very friendly and fast. The chef even came to our table to ask how the food was. The service was excellent and the price-quality ratio was excellent. Definitely recommended.

If you don't know, this gem isn't easy to find. It's inconspicuous from the street, but if you put yourself in the hands of the waiters, you won't be disappointed. Despite two employees being sick, there was no sense of rush. The service was excellent and very friendly. Simply fantastic. The chef not only worked in the kitchen but also served the food to cope with the emergency. That shows how great the team is. And then the food... A dream, whether schnitzel or rump steak, everything was perfect and delicious. The rump steak was cooked to perfection, and the chef personally made sure it was cooked to perfection. It was a fantastic experience and a culinary delight. We would love to come back. Thank you very much, and keep up the good work!

We celebrated our communion there. We put together a menu, which was executed exactly as planned. We also brought the decorations there, and they decorated it beautifully. We were very pleased. Our beef soup was unfortunately only lukewarm (but I had told the waitress 😀), but it was very tasty. The main course was pork medallion with gravy, potatoes, green asparagus, and a side salad. Very tasty! We were extremely satisfied!

From the outside it's a bit old and inconspicuous, so to speak, but the owners/operators and the interior are awesome. Arrived at the restaurant at lunchtime and we were still served drinks and a great tasting meal. It's always worth a break and a visit. Keep it up, because whoever is friendly and does a great job will be rewarded. 100% authentic people who do a good job.

Very solid shop! Had turkey schnitzel with fries and pork schnitzel with croquettes. Unfortunately there were very few delicious croquettes, but there was a solid amount of fries. Schnitzel size solid, not big, not small. It was made in the deep fryer (no problem, it usually tastes delicious), but it was a bit dry. I assume that the schnitzels are pre-cooked and then reheated (cook & chill, very common procedure). But then you have to be a little more moderate when pre-cooking 😉. Staff incredibly nice, that made the stay very pleasant! Beer very tasty. Location right on the only street in town. A bit noisy, but not a problem. Terrace very relaxed.

Upon arrival we received a card and ordered drinks… 30 minutes later the drinks were brought. That was it then. No food was taken, even when asked. Then decided to pay and eat somewhere else. Paying then took forever until someone came! Went with 3 people and there was nothing going on. What a shame!! Not recommended unless you have all day

My wife and I went to the Schnitzelhaus today (not for the first time) and were once again very satisfied. The waitress was very friendly, the food tasted very good. The "Mexico" schnitzel (spicy minced meat sauce with vegetables) with croquettes and salad as well as the daily recommendation (pulled pork burger with split potatoes) were on our table, and the portions were generous. The seasoning is also generous. If you are sensitive to salt, the Schnitzelhaus may not be for you, but we like it very much. We will also be happy to be guests in the future.

You don't go to a schnitzel house to eat healthy. So I don't pay attention to calories, fat or salt content here. All dishes are very tasty with decent portions! Beautifully prepared (see pictures). The service was super friendly! The only thing that is really annoying is the smell of cooking in the back area. Otherwise you can have a really good time here!

I don't understand the good reviews here. More of a pub with a bar and slot/dart machines. The small dining room (4 tables) is absolutely overlit and there is little romance at the table with a washable plastic tablecloth. Deep-fried (ready-made) schnitzel with fries and salad for 19.50 euros. You don't expect that in a restaurant called Schnitzelhaus. The service was friendly, but it doesn't make up for the poor quality of the food. We wouldn't eat here again.

I am very disappointed because honesty comes first for me. I asked if the schnitzel is homemade or if it is a frozen product. I was told it would be freshly made. Anyone who knows anything about the industry immediately checks that it is a frozen product and that it is fried. Sauces remind me of Maggi products like fondor. Then the noodles were placed in a non-tight container which meant that the sauce was spread throughout the bag. I also compared the prices with a real schnitzel house where everything is made in-house, even this one was a little cheaper. I find it quite paradoxical what some people write here.

By chance of our place of relaxation for the night we found this charming little restaurant which was well rated and indeed it deserves all these stars we arrived at this restaurant full of charm and conviviality. Our meal filled our stomachs and delighted our taste buds for a not so exorbitant price tag for a lovely evening. We highly recommend it for passing travelers and locals of course.
