Delicious food and friendly service in a good atmosphere

Hello, unfortunately I ate a strange schnitzel again, like so often in the catering industry. . I think I "can" fry schnitzel even as a non-cook, but this sticky breading is unbelievable, I don't know how they do it, but the breading cannot be scraped off the meat with a knife and a fork and it literally sticks deep to the meat, nothing with airy detachment from the flesh. . . It wasn't flour, egg, breadcrumbs and fried in clarified butter,... with such a completely even browning I'd guess deep-frying... and that for just under 12,-... without any side dishes, of course. . . SORRY

Enjoyed the atmosphere and food.

We have been to the Hölzchen several times and eaten there... the food there tastes fantastically delicious, the service is attentive but not intrusive. Only one year at Christmas it wasn't so good... but the other times the food was really delicious. The atmosphere is rustic and outdated but clean and well maintained. I haven't been to the bowling alley for an estimated 20-25 years

Cozy place and the food and beer is quite alright! Recommended for classic German food!
