Very friendly service, good food.

Overall, it's a really lovely place, and the service is consistently good. What's a real shame is that there's only one dish each for vegetarians and vegans, and both are, as I've heard several times, very disappointing. The veggie burger tastes like it came from frozen and is definitely not worth the money. The fries are excellent. Unfortunately, it doesn't make sense to come just for the fries. Therefore, my suggestion is that, given the growing demand for vegetarian and vegan options, they should invest a bit more in this area to continue catering to this customer group.

A fairly large selection of typical German dishes. There were four of us, and everyone thought their food was delicious. The service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable.

Great restaurant with friendly and service-oriented staff, an extensive menu and comfortable seating areas.

This afternoon I had an extremely disappointing experience with my cabbage roll order. The dish was served cold, and the sauce was thick and oily. After I complained, the waiter took the cabbage roll back, but about 10 minutes later I received it again, this time lukewarm. The cabbage and meat filling were a tasteless, unidentifiable mass, while the sauce was even thicker than before. I complained again, but the waiter could only offer to take it back and said he would see what he could do. After another 15 minutes, he informed me that he was sorry, but I had to pay for the dish. I sacrificed my lunch break, ate nothing, and ultimately paid about 16 euros for an inedible meal.

We stopped by for a quick drink, and it was very crowded on a Saturday evening. So you should definitely make a reservation if you want a table. Since we only had drinks, we stood in a corner. The server quickly took our drink orders and served us promptly, even though the place was packed.

Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, a visit to Paderborn is absolutely worth it.

A cozy restaurant with friendly service and fair prices. They offer a delicious lunch menu daily, including a soup starter and dessert. I chose a dish from the regular menu and also received a starter and dessert. We waited a good 30 minutes for our food. However, since it was very busy, that was perfectly acceptable. The only drawback for me was the seat, which was on the right side, in a narrow tube. Very cramped and noisy due to the number of tables. The decor throughout the restaurant created a cozy, hearty atmosphere. Almost every table had a different lamp in a variety of shapes and colors. We would definitely return.

Very centrally located and a well-stocked film selection. Unfortunately, the prices for snacks and drinks, like those at its competitors, feel excessive from the visitor's perspective. We'll definitely be back soon.

Delicious food, fast service, and all in all, an absolute recommendation in Paderborn. At lunch, every dish comes with a soup and dessert. All at a very good price/performance ratio! We visit regularly and are always impressed! Today was our first time there with a child; absolutely child-friendly and uncomplicated!

Typical "schnitzel" cutlet, not good at all. Soaked in oil and not at all crispy. The portions are generous, however. The beer was poorly poured, but good. I find it annoying that the waitresses point out at checkout that the tip isn't included in the price. I know, it's not listed on the bill! I would have left it anyway because the girls were so kind, but I think it's rude to mention it when the customer is paying.

I ordered schnitzel with fresh mushrooms, but I got canned mushrooms. The explanation was, oh,... the chef must have mixed them up, but we usually have fresh mushrooms; maybe they were just too busy in the kitchen. That was it. Not even a drink. The bill didn't change either. And only four croquettes is pretty small.

German food experience! We had wild burger,paderborn schnitzel, tomato soup and beer. The flavours were rich, we enjoyed that evening 😄 highly recommend!

We were here during the week, and it was pleasantly empty. We didn't have to wait long for our food. I had the lumberjack schnitzel, and I loved it, especially the combination of bacon, braised onions, and the fried egg. The side salad was also really delicious. My boyfriend found the schnitzel a bit too thick; he prefers it flattened, but that's a matter of taste. The crème brûlée wasn't freshly made, but it was still delicious. The ambiance was very quaint and cozy. I would come back.

Cozy place with good solid German food. Nice portions. Very attentive staff - my husband's steak got a little more than he had asked for. This was immediately noticed and apologized for. We also got a cup of espresso.

The Deutsches Haus is probably the best place to go if you appreciate good company and German home cooking. This rustic, old-style restaurant offers many classic German dishes and enough options to suit every taste. The staff really appreciates the restaurant and its guests, which is also evident in the service. I think the restaurant offers a different ambiance at any time of day and is a great place to start or unwind from the day.

I stopped by a local German restaurant in Paderborn, and since they seemed famous for their schnitzel, I immediately ordered. The schnitzel was crispy yet moist, and the creamy sauce was incredibly satisfying. Almost all the other tables around me were also enjoying schnitzel, so I knew it was a popular dish. The atmosphere was warm and clean, making it the perfect place for a local meal.

On my way to the cathedral, I happened to pass by here. I sat down on the terrace and studied the lunch menu. After a reasonably short time, I was asked what I wanted. I opted for the Libori meal. Simply fantastic! The Mettwurst sausages were extremely tasty and flavorful, the beans were perfectly cooked, and the fried potatoes with onions and small pieces of bacon were fresh from the pan. Special praise also goes to the extremely attentive staff! On my next visit to Paderborn, I will definitely visit the Deutsches Haus again! Then I'll take a seat inside, which—as far as I can tell from a quick stroll through—exudes a perfect combination of elegance and rusticity.

We've eaten here twice already. It was delicious! The staff was child-friendly and had a well-stocked children's menu. The staff were friendly and helpful in choosing our meals. We arrived shortly after, or rather, in the middle of, the kitchen closing time. We were kindly served food and were treated courteously. We look forward to the next time.

Good house, for me the first inn on the site, meeting point for good interested guests, well-kept food and drinks for city visitors, close to the Pader spring area and easily accessible parking spaces, open all day, no day off, service always forthcoming and attentive. I can sign that. There are certainly other good places in PB.

We had two rump steaks today. One with fried potatoes, one with fries. The steaks could have been trimmed a little better and were still quite stringy, but within reason. However, they were cooked to perfection and very tasty. The salad was also very tasty and fresh. The potatoes were amazing. The fried potatoes were diced, not sliced. Brown and crispy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside. The fries were just as good. Friendly and attentive staff and reasonable prices. We'd be happy to go back.

We came here for dinner with two people. The decor is rustic and very attractive. The food (a brewery plate with fresh vegetables, fresh mushrooms, fried potatoes, and a creamy schnitzel with croquettes and salad) was fantastic and very tasty. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We would love to come back.

Very friendly service, and the ambiance is also very pleasant. It's best to call ahead after 7 p.m., as it gets really busy. We were there on a Monday. You can sit outside, about 50 meters from the Pader River, and enjoy yourself.

Unfortunately the food wasn't good. When you go out to eat you expect fresh products, not frozen food. A cream soup, for example, is really not rocket science to make yourself! A schnitzel dripping with fat is also not inviting and so on... I had asked for a candlelight dinner and the answer was: of course we can do that...except for a candle on the table, unfortunately there was nothing to see...what a shame!! Unfortunately, the staff didn't feel like checking on you or asking if you could have something else... well, unfortunately not worth a second visit...
