The food was plenty and plentiful. Great service and everything was very clean in the restaurant and outside.

We were there again on Wednesday, September 4th, 24 after a long time. We sat outside and since the heaters were on you could sit there without a jacket. The food was very tasty and the very friendly service was attentive without being intrusive. Thanks for that. We would like to come back soon

If you want good, home-style food, this is the place for you. Service always friendly. Service and price performance are simply top!!!! In summer you can sit outside great. Just great (as of 2022) Unfortunately, I have to add that the price and performance simply no longer match since the last increase. Everything is a bit overpriced and the portions have become significantly smaller! As of 2024!

A nice restaurant with a lot to discover inside. Even the very clean toilets are a highlight. The daily menu of stuffed cabbage was as expected, although I didn't understand why there was so much oil on the plate, which in no way belonged there. The soup as a starter was good overall. I would have liked more taste. The dessert of red jelly with vanilla sauce was okay. All in all, there is still room for improvement.

The "German House" is different than what you would expect inside, especially in terms of the ambience. The chairs and tables are rustic, but there are pictures and posters of French painters hanging everywhere and the decoration is somehow different. But the most important thing is that the food is excellent, the service is extremely nice and accommodating. We had schnitzel dishes (all €19.80) and the “schnitzel pyre” is just great. Highly recommended, you can end the day well here.

Enjoyed a steak on the way through, it was really good, small deduction, they didn't ask about the cooking point, but exactly how I like it!

Pleasant atmosphere outside, nice service

Good house, for me the first inn on the site, meeting point for good interested guests, well-kept food and drinks for city visitors, close to the Pader spring area and easily accessible parking spaces, open all day, no day off, service always forthcoming and attentive. I can sign that. There are certainly other good places in PB.

A great restaurant with extremely friendly and attentive staff. The food (we all had schnitzel) was very tasty and the portions were definitely not small. We women haven't quite managed it. The mushroom sauce was particularly great and the veal schnitzel was also excellent (wafer-thin, tender and, being so thin, huge at first glance!). The staff checked in regularly (even though we were sitting at the edge of the room) and asked if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. I definitely recommend making a reservation! Waiting time was also completely fine. If we're in Paderborn again, we'd love to come back!

Very friendly, helpful service - unfortunately the kitchen can't keep up. Onion schnitzel with very few onions. Unfortunately, both the schnitzel (ready breading) and the fried potatoes were from the deep fryer and very greasy - not possible. Side salad was ok.

The food was delicious and when the service employee had a small mishap at the end, the boss reacted in a very courteous and hospitable manner, very commendable

We just had dinner here. The food was super tasty and cheap, as lunch included soup and dessert. The service was super nice. If we are in Paderborn again, we will definitely come back!!!!

Not much on the lunch menu, what there was tasted okay. Not really what I was looking for but did us for a light lunch as opposed to the dinner we were wanting. Maybe events are better, if not, I wouldn't go there again.

Very nice place to eat delicious homemade REALLY GERMAN food. Everything from noticeably fresh products, nice staff and a beautiful location in itself. There is also a bar, so you can also sit down and watch football. In my opinion, the price is on the higher end, but the food and service are worth the price! My recommendation! I just find the slot machine in the corner a little over the top😂. Does not have to be.... I tried the warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, very tasty and a sour cream schnitzel. Plus a homemade passion fruit lemonade. It's the second time I've been there, I'd love to go back.

The food was better, I have to say, very greasy and hardly any taste, the meat wasn't particularly cooked either. A plate at the next table was also completely returned. The service was very friendly but unfortunately instead of clearing something away (2 plates, 2 empty glasses, 1 box for mayo, pudding bowls, etc.) they always added something new, because the final coffee and the last cola could still be served inside Squeeze a small table for two. A lack of staff would have been okay, but some ladies often walked past us with their hands behind their backs and should have seen this and taken care of it.

Ambiance is great. Very cozy. The service as well. To eat : Cream of asparagus soup was very thin but tasted good. Onion soup is good. The lady plate. ... Schnitzel unfortunately tasteless and very bland. Cheese was chosen incorrectly...croquettes OK Unfortunately, I hardly tasted any dressing on the salad. German house burger a bit unbalanced. Burger sauce was very sweet, meat tasted very strong and tasted more like game than beef. French fries are amazing ☺️ dessert Unfortunately, lava cake was a frozen, thawed cake, very watery and without any taste. creme brulee Very sweet and no real vanilla taste

Good food, delicious drinks and friendly service, it's always a highlight. We've only been missing Saturday breakfast since Corona 😎😍 We would like to have breakfast occasionally on Saturdays with around 10 people.

In the evening at 8:30 p.m. I placed an order for food and after 10 minutes, without any real explanation, I was told by the otherwise friendly service person that there was nothing left to eat. Meanwhile, the people at the next table, who were already sitting at their table before us, were getting their meals. Maybe we were just unlucky. Still not great

A clocky, very cozy restaurant, wonderfully decorated. You immediately feel at home here. The service could be more friendly, there is room for improvement. He always sounded a bit snarky and stressed. When I complained that the wrong meat was on my plate, I was initially answered somewhat bluntly: I would have ordered that. No - I didn't order it that way, I ordered exactly what was on the menu. When the service checked again, they admitted the mistake and apologized sincerely. But it was still super tasty!! Potatoes and asparagus were on point, as was the chicken breast fillet (instead of the pork medallion). Upon request, I got extra hollandaise because there was very little. I would definitely come here again! And the lunch menu is absolutely recommended. Starter soup, main course and dessert.

A quaint restaurant with a good German menu. We visited without a reservation, and they managed to cater to our quite large group of 12, all thirsty army Veterans .

Water here an evening with colleagues. The food is excellent and the service staff really enjoy their job. The homemade goulash soup and the deer burger were absolutely great. A glowing evening in a cozy atmosphere.

Beautiful inn with rustic charm and home-style cuisine. The service was particularly nice on the morning of July 20th. Small and neat with an angelic voice. Swiss with long blonde hair greets you, you are remembered ;)

We went for a lunch time sitting and I enjoyed a very good Deutsche Haus burger, cooked pink as it should be! The kids menu is nice and simple for the fussy ones and the service was great. We will be going back thats for sure 👍🏻

Very cozy restaurant with a small but fine lunch menu. First there was a beef broth. I had the Suomi Burger with a nice large fresh Angus beef patty medium fried and very tasty fries. For dessert there was vanilla cream with fruit sauce. I'd love to come back!

Best schnitzel ever - the Paderborn cream schnitzel.

The portions are very meager for the prices. But it could also have been due to the very full restaurant. Otherwise everything was great, friendly service and the food and beer tasted very good!

We had booked a table at 7 p.m. in the evening with our 7 year old daughter. So they knew, despite the fact that we had a child with us, we were assigned a table that was right at the counter. In my opinion, not that great. The food was very meager, in my opinion the quantity wasn't right for the price. Plus it was only lukewarm.

Extremely satisfied. On the weekend you may want to make a reservation otherwise you may not be able to get a table. The two of us were there spontaneously on a Saturday evening and we are extremely satisfied. The taste is really great.

Even though it was lunchtime and we hadn't reserved a table, we were very kindly offered four seats within a very short time. The food, a salad plate with chicken breast fillet, was delicious and very lovingly prepared and tasted very good. A restaurant that can be highly recommended. Everything was right: the extremely friendly, attentive service, the excellent food and the reasonable price!

Seit Jahrzehnten mein Favorit! Ich war zum Mittagstisch im Deutschen Haus und es war wie immer sehr gut. Das Service Personal ist zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Das Essen wurde zügig serviert und war lecker. Ich freue mich auf das nächste Mal.

Stark frequentierte Lokalität. Essen war gut, Bedienung sehr auf Zack, konnte sogar Kunststücke! Schöne Weihnachtsfeier der Abteilung.

Wir waren zum Stammtisch von der Arbeit im Brauhaus. Der Abend war sehr schön und die Bedienunen waren sehr nett! Das Essen war sehr lecker aber für den Preis war die Portion sehr klein. Ich esse keine großen Portionen aber ich war nach dieser Portion nicht satt.

Dazu Pommes Frittes oder Bratkartoffeln. Der Schmaus war nicht ganz günstig, in Anbetracht der Vor- und Nachspeisen aber akzeptabel. Leckere, gutbürgerliche Küche. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben trotz Reservierung über eine Stunde auf einen Tisch gewartet und als Entschädigung wurde uns nach dem Essen erst ein Freigetränk angeboten. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Essen war lecker.

The burger, fries, and apple juice were fresh. The prices were reasonable.

Wir waren Ales Familie zu fünft im deutschen Haus essen. Für Vegetarier gab es vier Gerichte zur Auswahl, wenn man den Veggie Burger mit zählt. Die Servicekraft war sehr freundlich, das Essen lecker und schön angerichtet. Wir würden dort nochmals essen, dann aber zum Kisau Pfännchen noch Pommes extra bestellen um auch satt zu werden.

We were there yesterday for dinner. We had different schnitzel dishes. Everything tasted very good, meat was perfectly cooked. Rosmarin potatoes were excellent, melting in your mouth. Very friendly staff, service was one of the best i've had in years, checking if everything is all right or if we need something. Fair prices. Highly recommended!

Hier kann man nett draußen sitzen, Bereich kann beheizt werden mit Infrarotstrahlern. Bedienung freundlich und hilfsbereit, Preise üblich. Haben nicht gegessen.

Zum Abschluss einer Stadterkundung sind wir hier für ein Abendessen "hängen" geblieben. Die Service-Mitarbeiterin war sehr schnell bei uns und hat uns über den ganzen Aufenthalt sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Das Essen - in meinem Fall Schweinemadaillons - war wirklich lecker und nicht saftig gebraten. Da wir draußen saßen konnte ich auf dem Weg zum stillen Örtchen einen Einblick in das Lokalinnere nehmen. Rustikal chic und die Toiletten waren sehr sauber. Alles in allem in das Deutsche Haus sehr empfehlenswert!

Meines Erachtens hat das Deutsche Haus an Qualität verloren. Bratkartoffeln und Schnitzel waren von der Menger her mehr als genug. Das Holzfällerschnitzel war geschmacklich nichtssagend. Den Salat hatte ich mit Essig und Öl bestellt. Bekommen habe ich einen Salat ohne Dressing. Laut Aussage der Bedienung wäre der Essig ausgegangen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und nicht aufdringlich.
