The food was okay—solid snack food, well-seasoned, and freshly prepared. Unfortunately, the experience was severely marred by the owner. He was not only unfriendly, but also distinctly condescending in his tone. Overall, a very negative vibe that can quickly ruin a visit. It's a shame, because with more respectful behavior, the place would be worth recommending.

The Vitrine in Bochum is a family-run, home-style restaurant that impresses with traditional cuisine. From starters to main courses and desserts – the offering is varied and the quality of the food was simply top! The service was also super friendly and attentive, there's really nothing to complain about. However, the ambience of the restaurant seems a little old. A thoughtful renovation could give the whole thing a more modern touch and make the experience even more complete. Nevertheless, if you are looking for good, down-to-earth food in a pleasant atmosphere, this is the right place for you. We would definitely like to come back!

I have known the Abel restaurant since I was a child. It was my father's favorite restaurant. I still like going there today. The food is good. I can also take our dog with me. There have never been any problems with the dog not being welcome. Of course, that was always pleasant for me. I've had different experiences in other restaurants. In the summer you can also sit very comfortably in the beer garden. I'm very happy with Abel.😀

Very nice location, but the cocktails are far too full of crushed ice. A Barcadirazz Mojito consists of 2/3 ice and is drunk after 4 sips. This urgently needs to change, otherwise it feels like a rip-off. The food, service and ambience is top, but in my opinion it fails compared to other bars on the street.
