A place where I always enjoy going. Simply the best restaurant in Kassel. For me and my family.

We had our wedding dinner at the Monument and it was fantastic. From the planning in advance, to the food, to the service, everything went really well and very accommodating. We would go here again at any time. A huge thank you to Jasmina, who gave us a great day.

At first glance the prices seem a bit high, but when you get the food, it's worth every cent. So: Very good food, nice and attentive staff and a very nice atmosphere. We will come back next time we visit Kassel.

Unfortunately we were disappointed. The plates looked really good. Unfortunately everything was unseasoned. The sauces tasted of nothing. Nice atmosphere, but more like an Italian restaurant.

Very nice staff and cozy atmosphere and nice and clean. The only thing that bothers me personally is the fake flowers.

I "only" give the room 4 stars because the joints in the shower, for example, were no longer completely clean, the bedside table was in front of the closet so that it could only be opened on one side and the bedside table lamp didn't work. But the room was clean and a second pillow was provided immediately at my request. When we ordered the room we were asked whether we wanted fresh goose, which was only available to order, and I found it very attentive. This tasted excellent. In general, the owner was very nice and responded to almost every request. The house is in a quiet location, but it is only a few kilometers from Kassel. There are enough parking spaces at the house. The house is old but clean. You look in vain for elevators. Price/performance is top. When eating out, I found the Indian chicken dish with rice (which contained very little meat) quite expensive at 17 euros, while the goose with soup, salad, side dishes and dessert was ok at 30 euros. Conclusion: We'll be back next year

Who doesn't know this restaurant who comes from Kassel? Since our youth we have always eaten our schnitzel here very well and cheaply. Whether hunter, gypsy or one of the other variants, always delicious. Visited again after many years, just there and you felt like you were transported back to “our good times”. From the food to the ambience, everything is like back then. We'll be coming back more often in the future.
