Stumbled upon this place thanks to google maps and the multiple positive reviews. The most pleasant meal I have had from beginning to end in a long time! The food was perfectly cooked, thoughtfully prepared and wonderfully presented. Our waiter, Christian, was wonderful, funny and an absolute delight. His knowledge and passion for the food, wine and beer showed through at every course. The rotating menu is printed in German and English (and staff is fluent) so don’t hesitate if your German is lacking, they will still do their best to make you feel like a local.

Went here because it was No1 for German food. The food was delicious. Full of flavour carrot & ginger soup followed by very tasty grilled duck. My friend loved the spring rolls and said the beef goulash was very tender. Ariana was very charming and courteous. We were the only customers at the time so can’t comment on the ambience but we were happy anyway. We had a lovely meal. Thank you Ariana and Michael.

Fine restaurant in a very old house. A not overloaded menu with selected dishes. Everything tasted really good. You should definitely make a reservation in advance. The service was very friendly. Absolutely recommended and must be repeated. It is also possible to pay by card, which is something to note.

Delicious Ukrainian cuisine. I recommend dumplings and borscht.

Fantastic food with friendly service. A must for anyone visiting Berlin.

We set off on our bikes with our daughters (5 and 7 years old) and arrived with a lot of hunger and appetite, but then found ourselves in front of the sign: “Entrance and catering for ages 14 and up.” It’s a real shame, we really wanted to know beforehand and it leaves us with a stupid feeling! Exception: school introduction event is ok ;)

Great! Pleasantly warm service, a tasteful, unpretentious interior, and a harmonious menu with several memorable highlights (the pickled sturgeon, etc.), as well as a finely matched wine pairing. A truly well-rounded evening, and we'd love to return soon! Thank you!

Great food. Small card, but it doesn't have to be more. This shows that it is better to concentrate on a few dishes but also deliver them perfectly. I had the Käsespätzle myself and my friends had the “Wiener Style” schnitzel. Both extremely tasty. The service is fast and friendly with a Berlin accent. Scents! The interior design is an elegant mix of old-rustic-original and modern.

Celebrated a big birthday, the ambience as well as the food and drink were wonderful. The owners were open to everything. It was a lovely evening. We would be happy to come back and recommend it to others. Frank and Simone

A contemporary take on classic German cuisine... absolutely outstanding!! The service was also first class and the restaurant is stylish and beautiful.

The restaurant was on vacation but from the last time we went out to eat it got 5 stars because it was very good, small menu and very timely restaurant
