We went to the asparagus buffet at the Spargelhof Austerschulte. In my opinion, the dishes on offer were okay, but nothing extraordinary. The asparagus was nice and fresh, the asparagus soup was okay, the schnitzels and the roast were okay. Overall it was fine. The price of around €36 plus drinks was quite sporty...Will I go again next year? Probably already...

Berliner Schnauze at its very WURST. This was honestly one of the WURST customer service experiences I’ve ever had in Berlin after 12 years of living here. My friend and I strolled in here after an evening at the theater, hoping to have a drink and a bite to eat. Charming and sweet inside, I was excited to have found a potential gem. I was learning up against the wall in my chair with my leg perched up towards my chest and the waitress came over and snapped at me to put my foot down. It wasn’t even on the chair! It was so inappropriate and rude, telling me how to sit in such a causal buffet restaurant! The nerve! Then the manager yelled at us because I had grabbed one grape and didn’t put it on my plate. I feel pity for the aggressive women who work here that they have to be this mean nasty to their customers - they must have really sad, lonely and pathetic lives to be acting so nasty to others. I will never go back here again.
