Very cozy little pub with a nice landlord who takes time for his guests. The crowd is nice and there is a small, handmade food selection. Always my pleasure.

The Ankerbar is one of the most beautiful and hospitable places in Duisburg. Beautifully located on Neumarkt, you can also sit outside in summer. The staff is very friendly and does everything to ensure the guests' satisfaction. The food (pizza, pasta, salads, snacks) is simply delicious and the price is absolutely fair. And the Limoncello Sprizz can't be beat! 😉 We don't want to miss the Ankerbar anymore!!!

Ich war vor drei Jahren das erste Mal in diesem Lokal. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Erfahrung gehabt und ich hatte den Laden nicht vergessen und wollte zurückkommen. Ich war dann im April 2025 nochmal da. Ich wusste jedoch nicht, dass die beiden Besitzer, sprich AKL und das Lokal daneben mit Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen nicht mehr zusammen arbeiten. Dementsprechend musste ich mich im kleinen AKL reinsetzen. Die Location ist ziemlich eng und sehr voll. Touristen sind sehr laut und verdammt nervig! Ich habe einen Fallafelteller mit Pommes bestellt. Leider wurden mir Fertigfallafeln in runder Form mit Loch in der Mitte serviert. Wir haben dort vor drei Jahren frische, hausgemachte Fallafeln gegessen. Ich fand diese Entwicklung ziemlich traurig. Der Teller war trotz allem im großen und ganzen lecker. Die Jogurtsoße war hervorragend! Der Service war auch sehr freundlich. Aber ich erwarte von einem libanesischen Restaurant frische Fallafeln. Vor allem weil man extra für die Fallafeln dort essen geht. Sehr schade, dass diese Zusammenarbeit mit dem anderen Lokal auch nicht mehr besteht!

Great service, good prices, good ambience. Really one of the best bars here in Paderborn. Always worth a visit, especially on Wednesday during rush hour, which lasts all day long and you only pay half price at around €8.50 for 2 cocktails. The bar also invites you to play board games and card games. Great👍

Even just before the end of the day, it's better to make a profit than to waste. Too bad. Probably haven't heard of to good to go or anything similar. It's better to throw it away than keep the small profit. Customer loyalty looks different

I wanted to visit the restaurant and as luck would have it, I was able to take a look. At first glance it is a typical pub. A few slot machines, popular music, wooden counters, a friendly and drunken atmosphere and so much cigarette smoke that, as a non-smoker who actually has friends who smoke and tolerates it, I had to take a shower at home after half an hour to feel comfortable again. Maybe it's really nice there, but if you're a non-smoker you can avoid this establishment.
