Our favorite Italian restaurant in Bad Salzuflen. Very good and authentic pizza. They're made in a stone oven, and you can watch the pizza being made live. Everything is freshly made, with fresh ingredients, etc., so they can easily accommodate special requests. The service is always friendly, cheerful, and upbeat. Prices are reasonable, too. Eating here is fun!

Let's be honest and start with the best... The ambiance... It's wonderful to sit outside... a great atmosphere. Really nice. The service and the waitresses are good... attentive and friendly. I had pizza... the toppings were very good... fresh and tasty... but the pizza dough!? Unfortunately, I've only seen burnt pizzas and calzones that have been sent out. Mine was actually still decent. And the crust wasn't even crispy. Very doughy... very uneven, and in places it had the texture of squashed toast. Unfortunately, there's no sign of airy... fluffy, or crispy. There's a lot of room for improvement.

This is truly delicious. And the service is fantastic. It couldn't be better, we'd love to come back 😉👍🏻 The chili oil, for example, is amazing.

I'm currently on vacation in Bad Salzuflen and stumbled upon this Italian restaurant by chance. My friend and I actually just wanted to pick up two pizzas, so we waited in this very busy restaurant and ordered a cold drink. However, because of the cozy atmosphere, we decided to stay and enjoyed the delicious pizzas on site. We'll be back again during our vacation. Really delicious, and you feel welcome 😊

I don't understand the good reviews. The food wasn't seasoned, so I had to add more seasoning three times. The presentation was anything but appealing. So, the taste and appearance weren't great. The service was absolutely subpar; the pizza chef had to point out that we needed to be served. The food arrived before our drinks, and then, while I was taking a break, my plate was taken away from me. I wasn't finished and wasn't asked! I was able to ask if I could take it with me. The food came back, but no further comment was made. No request for new drinks, no request for dessert, and no request for the bill. We were just left sitting there. Afterwards, the waitress looked very indignant when we didn't leave a tip. Sorry, but the poor service with the substandard food isn't worth the price of the menu. Although it should be noted that some of the food was high quality, even if poorly presented.

Hello, three of us went to the restaurant for dinner this evening. A warm welcome, friendly service, and excellent value for money made for a wonderful evening. Having visited several Italian restaurants in Bad Salzuflen, we would definitely rate this one as number one. The quality of the food and the service make all the difference here.

Generally speaking, the service is always good. Advance reservations are recommended on weekends. Friendliness and courtesy are a top priority. Good parking in the nearby parking garage, a 2-minute walk away.

This restaurant can only be rated positively. The food is extremely tasty and the service is great. You can eat outside and inside. Modern rattan furniture, among other things, invites you to sit outside. Inside there are seating options in 2 areas. Parking is limited, but you can also park across the street. Highly recommended.

If you like the train station atmosphere with mediocre service and are not averse to pizza with additional spices, you should probably not go here on a Saturday evening

Although the restaurant was relatively empty throughout our stay, we were seated at an uncomfortable table in the passage. The order came very quickly, but one pizza was missing the mushrooms. The waitress reacted relatively rudely and said that it had not been ordered. When we said (really very kindly) that we had ordered it that way, the pizza was taken away again, topped with toppings and baked again. Then she was slammed back onto the table, pretty burned. My companion's pizza was very good, but there is clearly room for improvement in terms of service.

We had a lovely evening with delicious food for two, we paid around €50 for a small starter and two drinks. Highly recommended.

Seat request 100% fulfilled after reservation by telephone. Four different dishes came to the table at the same time and were all extremely tasty! We felt very comfortable! Visit yesterday again a highlight - ravioli excellent taste and then the excellent pizza scampi! Not only can you dine excellently there - you feel comfortable because you are not just a customer but a guest! Excellent quality, but carelessly prepared! Yes, we had the feeling - eat quickly and pay - a shame. We were there a few times and were happy - but the service must be fast forward - no! Satisfied customers are on the move - happy customers are coming back! On Saturday June 29th we were there again - excellent pizza scampi and before that there was a small, delicious salad in a nice atmosphere. We'll be back! We were back and very happy. Excellent pizza scampi and Pomodori Freschi very well topped and excellent in taste. Service was very nice and friendly - a reason to come back!

I can highly recommend it. I even got breaded veal schnitzel with fries at my request. I felt like it. The Dolce was awesome. Panna cotta, delicious!

Admittedly, we were probably unlucky. 2nd Christmas holiday! The hut was full. But it was planned and reserved. Went here on a recommendation. Delicious stone oven pizza! It would definitely be cozy for two in the corner like at the little Italian restaurant around the corner. Not so today. The innkeeper wanted the business. So we have a beer bench in the winter garden. There was also a Christmas market at the same time. That's just how it is. Order went promptly. Tomato soup came in time, hot and tasty. Everything is fine. After almost an hour the pizza finally arrived. Unfortunately not as crispy and hot as expected. Rather flabby, like from a frozen ristorante with a bit of warm salami on top. One too few for that. Oops. But now subito. Then it came surprisingly quickly. And was better. It works. One of the pizza makers probably had some breathing room. Dessert? Espresso? No, we'd rather drink at home. Were there for a very long time. Card payment, no problem. Tipping, flat rate only. Well, I 5%, then suddenly 10% was booked. Bad luck too. Again? Rather no.

Incredibly delicious pizza, very nice service, the only downside was that it was quite loud but we were also there during the Christmas season as it may be quieter otherwise. I would still like to come back here.

Absolutely terrible. I made a reservation a week in advance and were seated at a table that wasn't pleasant. Unacceptable!’ In the middle of the hustle and bustle at the bar, such unrest and noise. You couldn't have a conversation!!!! There was no ambience, the food was also not justified for the price and not tasteful!!! I absolutely cannot recommend it!! The staff was also visibly overwhelmed and not friendly.

After a break of at least 20 years, I was back to eat. I was welcomed like I was a regular and the calzone was outstanding. It definitely won't be long before I eat there again. Thank you again!

This was my second time here and the quality was just as good as the first visit. The food was very tasty. I had the pizza with rocket and Parma ham again, this time in the small version, and the Salad Pastore (mixed salad with tuna and artichokes), also in the small version. Both tasted excellent. A small point of criticism: The Italian pizza was made with Gouda, which I don't know from Italy. Also, the onions in the salad were unfortunately a bit spicy. Overall, it was still a very tasty experience!

Yesterday the four of us ate at “Da Carlo” for the first time. This restaurant is absolutely recommended in all respects. Food was almost perfect. The antipasti misti were very tasty and freshly prepared, as were the crotini. The pizzas were the best we have eaten here in ages. The pizza maker knows what he's doing and even came to the table personally to check whether everything was okay, including a quick chat. The only criticism is that the white bread served seemed to be homemade, but I would have liked it to be a little crispier. However, it is certainly just a personal feeling. The service was very attentive, very nice and accommodating. Everything went very quickly, including the preparation and serving of the food, even though the restaurant was busy. Absolutely acceptable in terms of price. We will definitely come back!!!

We were at "da Carlo" at lunchtime last week and were thrilled. The pizza was simply delicious. The dough is nice and thin, perfectly baked and the topping is fresh and absolutely tasty. The prices are reasonable and the service is attentive.

Went to a hotel right next door for vacation and decided to eat there. We were warmly welcomed, shown straight to our table and after ordering, the food arrived in under 10 minutes. The food, in this case the carbonara, was excellent, I don't know the last time I had such good carbonara. In addition, the carbonara was very filling and therefore the price/performance ratio was excellent. I would eat there again any time.
