My mother-in-law and I visited the tavern again; since I moved to the south of Germany, I unfortunately don't get the pleasure as often anymore. Great new menu, great snails, sensationally delicious oyster mushrooms. Absolutely top-notch value for money; in Stuttgart, you can add 50% more and you won't get this quality. Service, as always, was warm and friendly. There are many Italian restaurants in Salzuflen; in my opinion, the value for money is hard to beat. See you soon, and thank you for the lovely evening.

I've been there three times and have been extremely satisfied or even enthusiastic each time. Really nice and authentic.

The pizza and pasta were really very good—fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. The service was generally okay. Those who like a more lively and direct approach will feel at home here. For others, it might seem a bit tiring, but all in all, it was a good visit.

The establishment wasn't air-conditioned...it was very, very hot with the stormy weather. The pizzas are excellent...one of the best I've ever eaten!

A clear 5 stars. The food was sensational, the service attentive and friendly, and the place clean and tidy. The real stone oven is obviously the highlight – but we had the appetizer platter and tiramisu, which were also excellent. The very high quality of the olive oil was particularly striking.

Basically, a definite yes. Pre-book on weekends for groups of 4 or more; it's packed. It's worth it. They're super nice.

We went there for lunch, pizza with tuna, pizza with spinach and salmon and a salad with baked feta. Everything was very tasty and the service was super nice.

The food is very tasty. But for me, the most important thing about a restaurant visit: the service. Super friendly staff who know exactly how to strike a balance between too much and too little. The waiters were always there when you wanted to order something new to drink. It was never intrusive, though. The food was also very tasty. Personally, I found the pizza crust a bit too thick. But that's a matter of taste and, if anything, only a minor issue. The pizza still tasted very good. The octopus salad is highly recommended. We'd be happy to come back.

My husband and I order from you regularly and we love the great pizza dough and the salads, they are very, very fresh and tasty. The salad dressing and, in my opinion, the pickled onions on top are super tasty. What we always notice very positively is the friendliness of the boss and his great employees. We come several times a month and will continue for a long time 😊

Very nice staff, delicious food, cozy restaurant

We got a nice seat by the window. The service staff were very concerned about our well-being and there was nothing to complain about. The two of us shared the Mista starter platter and the La Taverna pizza. The starter platter for just under €17 was ok. The pizza was “taste-neutral” and didn’t taste like anything. Disappointing for the price of around €16.50. There was a schnapps on the house. Our conclusion: Service and approach were very good, but unfortunately the food didn't convince us.

Man, that was good. Were just there for dinner. Rarely have I had such good pizza. Crunchy base, light and airy. Very cool pizza man. He exemplified openness and willingly provided information about temperature, dough storage and also a look into the OVEN. Shows dedication and love for the job. Service has room for improvement. We had the wrong starter and completely forgot about it at the dinner table. But it was calculated correctly. Top quality espresso (no coffee grounds) excellent quality of the food on the pizza (grown ham instead of molded meat, very good cheese and also good salami. Great pizza, well-kept restaurant but it's not Italian but Syrian, which you can see in the pasta dishes. Unfortunately, they're ready-made tortellini from Lidl or something else... But that's not important, I never eat pasta and the like in restaurants anyway because I make it better at home than the restaurateurs here in Germany. But pizza you have to say top...fresh from 🔥-Open.. what bothers me the most here is that they put ham in quattro formaggi.. only cheese goes in there 🫣😁Pizza 15 euros, tortelini about 10 euros.. . Still works

Went to La Taverna for the first time yesterday, had a very tasty meal, very friendly welcome and service. We'll definitely go there again. I can only recommend it, delicious food at moderate prices. The journey from Lemgo was worth it, unfortunately we are missing something like that......

The food is very tasty and the pizza is well topped. It is freshly prepared in the front restaurant area. We got a table even though the restaurant was fully booked. So we only had 1.5 hours to eat. The service was quick and friendly. We would have liked to have had a drink after our meal if the service had been more attentive. The atmosphere is simple and cozy. Unfortunately, since we were sitting near the counter, our clothes smelled extremely like food after visiting the restaurant.

I have been visiting this great restaurant for over 15 years. I've never had anywhere near as good a pizza as here in Germany. The food is amazing, the service is great and the ambience with the stone oven is great. An Italian for the whole family. The service staff have been the same for decades, you know each other and feel like family when you enter the restaurant. Would like to give 10 stars, simply the best pizzaria for me!!!!!

I expected more based on the great reviews. I ate vitellotonato. I got veal with tartar sauce and capers. However, the pizza was ok (not great but absolutely ok) I won't come back because you can eat much better pizza there for the price.

Lasagna is different too much cheese and sauce you have to look for lasagna sheets.

You come as a stranger and leave as a friend. Everyone was super nice and service oriented. The pizzas are huge and the best in town. Nice atmosphere both inside and outside.

Every dish was carefully prepared and tasted an absolute highlight. I was particularly impressed by the fresh ingredients. Particularly worth mentioning is the pizza from the Steinhofen with an open fire - simply great! I can't remember when or where I had such good pizza! The service was great! I felt very welcome and well looked after. The ambience of La Taverna is great. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The stylish furnishings and atmospheric lighting contributed to an all-round successful experience. I would like to come again and again. I can only recommend La Taverna to everyone! Delicious food, I can only recommend the pizza. Fair prices, good service.

A simple bruschetta, made with excellent bread, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Well seasoned tomatoes. Four seasons pizza, artichokes, from a box, but otherwise tasty and crunchy. The mixed starter, perhaps a little too full of sauces, but overall okay. All things considered, they are not Italian, but I have eaten much better with them than with many Italian gastronomes.

Wir waren ganz spontan zu Viert da und es wurde möglich gemacht das wir uns setzen und essen konnten. Das Personal war sehr nett, absolut freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen und der Wein waren auch superlecker. Wir hatten sehr lecker Pizza, Spaghetti Carbonara und Putenschnitzel in leichter Tomatensauce mit Bandnudeln. Wir können das Restaurant absolut empfehlen !!!

Wir waren spontan zum Essen neulich da. Auch als alles besetzt war, wurde noch für uns zwei Plätzchen geschaffen. Wir kommen gerne aus weiterer Ferne angefahren, um diese leckere Pizza wieder zu essen. Auch Pizzabrot und Salate sehr zu empfehlen. Bis hoffentlich bald mal wieder!
