After five minutes, we were asked if we wanted a drink. When we said we'd think about it, the "owner" politely but rudely asked us to leave. A very questionable place. Card payments supposedly start at €25.
At night, while completely drunk, I ate a cheesecake and an hour later I puked in front of the Davidwache. The positive thing was that I was allowed to taste my beer in the shop. The Hotel Davidwache cost me 150 euros for the night, but the bread included in the price was very gentle on the stomach.
Yang Guofu Malatang
The selection of ingredients isn't very extensive, and the presentation isn't organized properly. However, the bone broth is quite good, supposedly simmered for two hours daily. The "unspoken rule" of a 400g minimum is unknown until the food is weighed. Credit cards are accepted, but you need to pick up your order yourself. The service is generally acceptable. The restaurant is large and spacious, with plenty of seating and a restroom.
In summary: There are better Malatang restaurants in Munich.
I'm currently at the Bad Bentheim rehabilitation clinic. In the evenings, a group of about 6 to 8 people goes there to have a cold shandy or a beer. We've been there twice already. The first time, one of our group had their drinks forgotten four times, and another group received the wrong drink twice.
On the second visit, they forgot one drink and brought the wrong one twice. We ordered a shandy and received a beer. The waiter, and this is no joke, then put the glass to his nose and smelled it. We thought we were in a bad movie. The same thing happened with the second wrong drink: his nose in the beer. Maybe next time he should stick his finger in the beer and taste it.
