We love coming to Scheger regularly - it's always a great experience and the food tastes really good! Try it out! Absolute recommendation!

Absolutely delicious food! I only knew a few Ethiopian restaurants from Berlin and really wanted to try one near me. As already mentioned at the beginning, the food was really delicious and the plate for 2, although I was a bit skeptical at first, was totally enough for me and my girlfriend. You just have to bring some time. At first it “bothered” me a bit (too negative a word in this case) but then I remembered it as something positive. Since everything has to happen so quickly these days, it slows things down a bit and you can enjoy being together in the restaurant without having to worry about it in any way. I can only recommend it!

Lovely Ethiopian food with friendly and helpful service. Arranged to meet our business partners for a dinner meeting. Had the platter to share amongst four people. Lively vibe but still quiet enough to have a business conversation. First time for three of the group to have Ethiopian food and they thoroughly enjoyed it. This is my third time with Ethiopian food in different countries and Mesob is the best so far.

Sorry to go against the mainstream but we didn’t like the food. The small mixed platter for 5€ was basically some green salad, a teaspoon of potato salad, a teaspoon of some sour injira bread and a toast bread with some mustard-looking spread. The mixed vegetarian meal was bland and uninspiring. There’s better Ethiopian in Munich than Omo. PS the service was nice but mega slow. And last but not least, cash only? In 2024? Really?

I really enjoyed it and liked it. The food comes quickly and is a real treat. The atmosphere there is also relaxed and pleasant. I can only recommend it!

Wir waren zu zweit da und haben es sehr genossen. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und wurden von der sehr freundlichen Bedienung toll beraten. Wir teilten uns eine kleine Vorspeise die von uns aus auch größer hätte sein können😉 Als Hauptgang nahmen wir das uns empfohlene 2 Personen Menü mit Fleisch. Das Essen war super! Unser Fazit: Der Besuch im Blue Nile ist eine besondere Erfahrung auf die man sich einlassen muss. Angefangen bei der Atmosphäre, dem Essen ohne Teller (dafür dient ein traditionelles Brot) und der Erfüllung des Raumes mit Räucherstäbchen und gebrannten Kaffeebohnen, welche die Bedienung ab und an im Laden schwingt. Wir würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen!!!
