The staff was very friendly. The food was also very tasty. I highly recommend the mixed platter, as it had different seasonings and there were a variety of things to try. The bread was also very good.

Beautiful Ethiopian restaurant.. Food is so tasty, and wine from honey is really unique.. Interior is really so nice and gives very warm and welcoming feeling and expression.. Service is very kind, professional and attentive!

The meat dishes were quite good. Slow cooked meat though is almost always good it is quite hard to get it wrong. The vegetarian parts though lentils salad parts etc in the mixed teller were quite dissapointing. The injera bread was given in large portions but as far as flat breads go it was not anything special. The drinks were very good. Get meat only dishes if you go here.

The food was so delicious! A real experience. Absolutely recommended for anyone who wants to try authentic Ethiopian food. 👌 Because you can always get refills of injera, you'll always be full :)) Beautiful Ethiopian music in the background and authentic decor. 🦋 The service was also very friendly. 🫶 It's best to come by public transport.

The food tasted good but the portion was very small. I ordered the mix Teller mit Fleisch for two. Very disappointed. Lots of bread but Not nearly enough of the main things you want. 30 euros. rip off. Better Ethiopian restaurants elsewhere in Nürnberg.

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever visited in Nürnberg. It was my first time trying Ethiopian food but the dishes were so delicious that it made me want to visit Ethiopia. The spice mixture used in the dishes was so aromatic and complex. The tangy injeras served with the food compliments the dishes so well. We also got to try Ethiopian beer which was pretty cool. The atmosphere felt very authentic. The place was decorated with beautiful Ethiopian art, and it contributed to the great experience. The servers were very helpful and kind throughout the night. If you have not visited this restaurant yet, you are missing out. I definitely recommend.

The food could be a bit more substantial, and the atmosphere would be more lively with some beautiful, local music. Otherwise, it was very tasty and pleasantly spicy.

I was at Restaurant Lucy today and I was absolutely thrilled. The food was incredibly delicious. I especially recommend the Sambusa and the Yebere Key Wot! Both were perfectly seasoned and made to perfection. The service was also friendly, and I felt at home. The atmosphere was warm and cozy; you can tell the love and care goes into the cooking here. I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious food! I only knew a few Ethiopian restaurants from Berlin and really wanted to try one near me. As already mentioned at the beginning, the food was really delicious and the plate for 2, although I was a bit skeptical at first, was totally enough for me and my girlfriend. You just have to bring some time. At first it “bothered” me a bit (too negative a word in this case) but then I remembered it as something positive. Since everything has to happen so quickly these days, it slows things down a bit and you can enjoy being together in the restaurant without having to worry about it in any way. I can only recommend it!

We chose Lucy before we started our trip. The food was very tasty and the service was very familiar and friendly. The portions are rather normal, but prepared with a lot of love you get super tasty quality here. So we still needed dessert. We'd love to come back when we're in the area again.

Were here for the first time. Visually, I know African restaurants to be completely different from both the outside and the inside. With more African flair throughout the facility. But we were here for the food. We were given great advice and started with the starter, a mixed platter for 2 and then dessert. Everything was a pleasant surprise in terms of taste. I can absolutely recommend the restaurant if you want to try good African cuisine.

The gentleman who served there, presumably the owner, was terribly nice and, when asked, explained to us how we "should" eat our food with our fingers. But he also offered us cutlery. The food was great. It also tasted great. It was fun there.

The Lucy mixed plate and the vegetarian national dish Tegamino Shiro were ordered. Both dishes can only be recommended and deserve the full five stars! Particularly worth mentioning is the good service. After the rice was completely consumed, we asked for a little extra flatbread, which was not charged extra.

We had dinner at Lucy today and ordered a vegetarian and a meat plate. Both dishes were served very appetizingly and presentably. The food tastes very good and you can tell that it was prepared with love🥰😍. The Ethiopian owners are very friendly, warm and accommodating🫶🏽. The restaurant is also centrally located near the main train station📍. It's only a few minutes' walk from Schweiggerstrasse. So it's easy to reach. Lucy is located in a quiet residential area and has fantastic interior design that really showcases Ethiopian culture. With a large area offering space for the coffee ceremony, the happiness seems perfect. The menu offers everything from vegan to vegetarian dishes to beef/chicken dishes. I can recommend the restaurant 100%. For me personally, the highlight is the quiet atmosphere.

Restaurant with Ethiopian style in interior. The outdoor area in front of the restaurant is equipped with plastic tables, so it doesn't really look idyllic. The service was initially a bit short-syllabic, but that improved over time. The food was very tasty and the prices were good. I would recommend it, but not for romantic meetings or anything similar.

An extraordinary, authentic, traditional culinary experience. Our group was delighted by the hospitality of the hosts and the impeccable service. Pleasant atmosphere, tasty dishes full of flavor. I recommend DjuDju beer and coffee which is served in a special way and has an inviting aroma. I can't wait to come back with my family to enjoy again the delicious dishes in the pleasant and quiet atmosphere of the Ethiopian Lucy restaurant.

This place is such a gem! My partner and I happened to be in the neighbourhood and stopped by, as they were the closest vegetarian option, and I'm glad we did -The food and flavours are amazeballs! Nice little vibe with the interior atmosphere and kind service my partner and I received too. We will return for sure.

My expectations were completely exceeded. Everyone says there is no Injera in Germany that even comes close, but this one really tastes so similar! The tips are also really good and the service is very attentive, courteous and friendly. I definitely recommend it and will come back! The ambience is reminiscent of Ethiopia with relaxed local music and there is incense and fresh coffee in the air, which also tasted very good! 10/10

The tastiest Ethiopian food ever. Usually take the vegetarian mix for 2, which is really plenty. You can order the bread (which, by the way, serves as cutlery, you eat with your hands and tastes sooo good) free of charge, as much as you need. I love Ethiopian cuisine. I often ordered here, mostly the mixed plates. It tastes very delicious and you can try different things.

I've eaten here 3 times and each time it was very good. My favorite is definitely number 10. I recommend everyone to take the injera. The service is great and in summer you can also eat outside. For newcomers who come for the first time, the platter for 2 is recommended as you can try a wide variety of dishes.

Very cute little establishment, attentive service. There are variations of coffee, soft drinks and everything revolves around oven potatoes. Unfortunately it is only open until 6 p.m. The target group is probably the employees in the neighborhood during the day. Still highly recommended.

Essen war sehr lecker, gut scharf und fein gewürzt. Sind Fans vom Dju Dju und Injera geworden. Fragen zum Essen und wurden freundlich und ausführlich beantwortet. Es kam mit der Bedienung zu einem interessantem Gespräch, in dem er von Kultur und Politik seiner Heimat Äthiopien erzählte. Die Atmosphäre war schön und authentisch. Es roch auch angenehm nach Weihrauch.

Wir kommen immer wieder gern hierher. Bestes ätiopisches Essen in Nürnberg!

Food is always delicious. I have tried every Ethiopian restaurant in Nuremberg and this is by far my favourite. Staff is very nice with excellent service.

Für mich der beste Äthiopier in der Stadt! Das Essen ist köstlich und schön angerichtet; der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Schönes Ambiente! Einziges Manko sind die wenigen Parkplätze, aber darüber sieht man gerne hinweg.

Leckeres äthiopisches Essen zu fairen Preisen und in angenehmem Ambiente. Zahlreiche vegane Optionen (alles was vegetarisch ist, ist auch vegan). Räumlichkeiten sind sauber und geräumig und die Speisekarte liebevoll gestaltet. Komme gerne wieder her - für 12-14€ kann man hier eine sättigende Platte mit Injera bekommen. Kritik: Die vegetarischen Optionen könnten auch direkt als vegan gelabelt sein, damit keine Verwirrung entsteht und wir haben etwas zu lange auf unser Essen gewartet.

Leider war das Essen nicht sehr gut. Das Brot zu wässrig. Die Bedienung war sehr gut. Leider kann ich das nicht weiter empfehlen.

Vorspeise total lecker und mega gewürzt. 1x Hauptspeise mit Rindfleisch und 1x vegetarisch. Mega, klasse 😋😋 traditionell mit Injera Brot serviert. Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen, der gerne auch etwas anderes ausprobieren möchte, als gewöhnlich zum Essen zum gehen.

Das Essen ist lecker und die Wirte sehr freundlich. Leider hab ich das Essen schlecht vertragen. Mein Magen hat es mit heftigen Blähungen quittiert, ist bei Ungewohntem leider recht empfindlich. Aber lecker war's trotzdem! 😋
