We had a truly lovely evening at Hanami. We arrived just in time for the cherry blossom season. A cherry tree with fresh blossoms greets you at the entrance, and the experience continues inside. The wonderful staff and excellent Vietnamese food, including sushi, delighted us :-)

The shop is actually OK. Unfortunately, no one there speaks a single word of understandable German. Drinks are categorically not included. You will then be called and told that it was a mistake and that the money will be credited to you. Unfortunately nothing happens. It's happened exactly the same way 3 out of 3 times now. If my wife didn't like the noodles so much, I wouldn't have ordered there the second time. The food is qualitatively priced appropriately. Nevertheless, today is the last time I will order here.

It's not just the people of Uhlenhorst who consider it an insider tip for fresh Asian cuisine, especially "to go". The small and simple bistro is open almost all the time and lives from the people who pick it up, who often wait at the tables for their orders and so you shouldn't be looking for comfort if you want to have a delicious meal on site. Since the clean kitchen is visible, some of the kitchen smell inevitably wafts into the dining room and clothes, but there is also a simple outdoor area! The staff is polite, on the ball and totally open to special requests! Also child and dog friendly! The fairly manageable menu (including vegetarian dishes) has the advantage that all the ingredients are fresh! If you like it spicy, you have to be bold about it! The prices are pleasantly fair, especially compared to the higher-priced environment! The daily recommendations, which are not generous in terms of quantity, are around € 12, including a greeting from the kitchen (mini spring rolls). Parking spaces (chargeable) are rare! Bus "6" + "17" opposite, as well as the "Apria" (Gym & Hotel). So, off to the insider tip on Hofweg!
