Homemade Thuringian dumplings and a goose breast with sauce and Rotraut: a Sunday dinner just as I wanted it. The atmosphere is also, as expected, very secret, as it should be in the village. The service is very courteous and friendly. I and the others who were there (8 people) really enjoyed it and enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

Anyone who appreciates rustic cosiness, good home cooking and warm hospitality has come to the right place. The old hall tells many wonderful stories, the genuine ambience and the warmth of the landlady give you a feeling of security, and the Thuringian dumplings are unsurpassed.

Ordered pizza yesterday and received an order confirmation. Waited all evening and received no delivery. Late in the evening I just received an email that my order had simply been canceled without giving a reason. The really no service that's why only one out of 5 stars.

We came there spontaneously today and everything was done despite being busy. Wanted coffee and cake and was served promptly. We were very surprised with the dedication and attention to detail that everything was designed here. Highly recommended. The big hit for us was the end when we left. We were told that we were welcome to stay here with our motorhome and that it would be no problem to even supply us with electricity for a fee. I really enjoy being here in Thuringia because the world and the people here still have their hearts in the right place. We'll definitely be back next year and of course in appropriate clothing.

Ordered a large and even the small would have been bigger than what I got. Carelessly topped, just thrown away, tasted okay but far too small. impudence.

As always, everything went quickly and the subs were delicious too.

The food tastes good. The staff is friendly. The prices are okay. Next door is a playground for the kids. Fits.

Had dinner there with my grandma yesterday. The food was very tasty, service was very attentive and friendly. We didn't have to wait long either. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

The location is pleasantly quaint, but I found the staff to be annoyed on both visits. Unfortunately, the quality of the food does not match the location, the fried potatoes and schnitzel were fried in oil, which in my opinion should traditionally be fried in butter or goose fat if you already have potato specialties.
