Great place with a wonderful panorama. The food was very good.

We were there spontaneously on a Sunday, the service was very friendly, the food tasted excellent and we were pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. You get something for your money here. The only (really very small drawback) for us... the dessert selection only consisted of ice cream.

Went there for a wedding and we really enjoyed it. The location is great with a wonderful view and plenty of space. The food was also very tasty and when we are in the area again we will definitely go and eat something delicious again.

Everyone in the restaurant is friendly

Unfortunately, the name Panorama Hotel only applies from Wednesday to Sunday. Unfortunately, you won't be able to see the panorama on the other days, as access to the (panorama) terrace is only possible via the restaurant, which is closed. The hotel staff pointed this out to us in a “very friendly manner”: “Just come back on Wednesday” (it was Monday).

The ambience was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing time with the family. We ordered fries and apple spritzer, and both were just great! The fries were crispy and flavorful, and the apple spritzer was refreshing and mixed just right. The service was also very friendly and attentive - even though we only ordered simple dishes, we felt very welcome. A nice place to take a little break and enjoy good food. We'd love to come back!

Had a very good lunch in the restaurant. Asparagus with schnitzel and potatoes. The pork loin with croquettes are also highly recommended. The salad is also great. Even though it was very busy, service was quick and friendly. The view is fantastic. There are enough parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.

Rooms are tidy and cozy, very nice hotel owner and hotel staff. Beautiful landscape. Breakfast is top. (very nice lady who took care of everything) I would love to come back here if I work nearby. 😊

On Saturday we had a wonderful celebration of our diamond wedding with 30 people. The food we ordered was very tasty and attractively prepared. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend it.

Were there at Christmas. Very, very busy but everything worked smoothly. The food was delicious, the staff was busy (and lots of them). All in all. Just like the last few years. We are coming again next year.

Everything is very good... the price level prevents the fifth star

We were here for a meal with around 10 people. The shop was completely empty and we were able to sit at the window and enjoy the wonderful view of the Thuringian Forest. The fireplace was also burning and it was nice and cozy. Actually just right on a cold winter day. The service staff were friendly and we got our food and drinks quickly. Unfortunately my Cola tasted stale. Things didn't improve with the second glass either. In my opinion, the Gypsy steak was ready out of the package. From whatever. I mean it cost almost €25! If I had been here privately I would have complained about both the food and the drink. A pity. Because the location is and remains great and the employees actually do a good job. I think as there is little going on there, it may well be that you have to resort to ready-made preparations. I have to think about whether I should eat something here again. P.s.: the toilets were clean but there were used glasses on some tables even though there was no one there except for us.

Tolle Lage des Hotels mit einem sensationellen Blick auf den Thüringer Wald. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr lecker und die Portionen sind groß.

Unser Eindruck nach einem weiteren Kurzbesuch im Panoramahotel: Super Lage, tolles Ambiente, sehr netter und höflicher Service und nicht zu vergessen das leckere und reichliche Essen. Innen und außen macht das Panoramahotel einen sauberen und sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Sogar an einen kleinen Spielplatz für den Nachwuchs ist gedacht worden. Und genügend Parkplätze sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Unsere Gäste aus Jena waren vom Panoramahotel total begeistert. Nochmals Danke an das gesamte Team.
