Linde in Bad Salzungen

The doner kebab is so delicious! Unfortunately, I'm only here for a spa treatment. I haven't found anything comparable in Dresden yet.

The food is delicious. The staff is friendly. The prices are reasonable. There's a playground for the kids next door. Perfect.

We spent a long weekend in Bad Salzungen and felt so comfortable and warmly welcomed at the Hecker Hof that we simply "had to" spend two evenings there. From the dining room to the restrooms... everything is furnished with loving attention to detail. The food is delicious... everything is freshly prepared! My personal recommendation is the vegetable stir-fry with pike-perch in batter... Delicious! We were served by two charming ladies who clearly enjoy being hosts. Thank you so much... We'd love to come back again!

We went there on Boxing Day because we were invited by family. When we walked in, it felt incredibly crowded. It was so loud you could barely have a conversation with the person sitting next to you. Once we sat down, it felt like a factory. The waitress was extremely grumpy and unfriendly. Other people who arrived later than us were served their food, and I didn't even get a drink, even though I had ordered mine 30 minutes earlier. The food itself was okay. But it was clear they were only focused on making a quick buck and trying to fill the tables as quickly as possible. The tables were so close together that the waiters could hardly get through. So, my suggestion for improvement: Please focus more on creating a pleasant atmosphere where people feel comfortable and can enjoy their family meal in peace and without stress!

Saturday evening, 8:30 p.m. The restaurant was empty except for two tables. The food tasted good, but the portion sizes were quite small; four pieces of meat for a main course is rather disappointing. The naan bread was dripping with oil, which is unusual for me. The service seemed unenthusiastic and could have been faster, but the staff were always friendly, albeit somewhat forced. The prices were reasonable. The food tasted good.
