Linde in Bad Salzungen

Relatively expensive. It was warm and plentiful. The taste was disappointing.

The food is delicious. The staff is friendly. The prices are reasonable. There's a playground for the kids next door. Perfect.

There's nothing negative to say about the ambiance; the outdoor area is particularly well-made. However, we waited about 45 minutes for our drinks order (we made ourselves known several times). Throughout the evening, we also had to wait a long time (up to over an hour for drinks, even though it wasn't that busy otherwise). Only some of the drinks were brought, and we had to wait for the rest. The icing on the cake was that our hosts were billed early in the evening because: "Nothing has been ordered in the last hour." That's true, but how are we supposed to cope when there's no waiter to be seen or we're simply ignored? Some of the food was good. Others, less so (e.g., almost raw boiled potatoes). The service often seemed overwhelmed, which apparently also had a negative impact on their friendliness. Conclusion: For us, it was our first and last time at this restaurant.
