A special experience! You sit at the same table with other guests and Robert and his team cook right next door in the open kitchen. You are nicely guided through the very high-quality culinary evening. The ingredients mostly come from the region, if you want you can come along. The food is excellent, the drink selection is special. You can have a very nice conversation with complete strangers, the common interest is good food and therefore a great basis for conversation. Definitely try it out :-)

Located directly on Lake Plön, this restaurant offers a great ambience and perfect service with excellent food. We'd love to come back.

A very nice restaurant with a great ambience, very tasty food and extremely attentive and friendly service

Yesterday we had dinner with our mom. Everything was perfect, the service with a lot of attentiveness and friendliness and the unique, very fine food with delicious wine and sparkling wine, just perfect for us. We were really looking forward to our meal from the Taj Mahal, but unfortunately it wasn't impressive. We ordered chicken tikka masala, two mango lassies and vegetarian starters – veggie pakora and two samosas. The chicken tikka masala was okay, but the vegetarian starters were a disappointment. They were dripping with fat, which not only affected the taste but also caused discomfort and stomach pain. The sauces should be highlighted positively, especially a green, slightly spicy version that really tasted good. The staff deserve great praise - incredibly friendly and attentive in a way you rarely experience. Unfortunately, even the best service is not enough to compensate for the weaknesses in the kitchen. It's a shame, because as the only Indian restaurant in the area we would have liked more love and care with the food. A repeat visit is therefore out of the question for us.

First the good: the fries tasted good. Unfortunately, that was it. The owner (?) sits outside the door and plays with a child. The tables were totally dirty and sticky. Mood rather bored. It's a shame that they don't even bother to let the guests sit at clean tables.

Excellent food, very friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere at a very fair price!

Alte Schwimmhalle am Schloss is a very beautiful with a great view. They also have a lot of outdoor seating

We ate there several times during our vacation. The facility has been completely redesigned this year and is very comfortable. The service is really stressful, but is still really nice, asks if it tastes good and is always available. At our last meal something wasn't what I ordered. I communicated this and so my entire meal was taken off the bill, even though I had almost eaten it. That's what we call service. Thank you again for that. We will definitely come back next year.

A reservation is best. At least on Sunday evening almost everything was reserved. But only almost and we got a table. The food was great, both in terms of quality and taste. Well fed, we have fond memories of the restaurant. See you next time.

A bit expensive? Otherwise a very nice place on Lake Plön. For the chilblains: There are also a few doilies here and you can snuggle up on the bench outside ;) The ice cream was really very tasty, but 10 euros per bowl? Plus two drinks and a piece of cheesecake = almost 40 euros. The service is cool, very attentive and very busy. This place is very popular.

Apparently this restaurant doesn't need to greet guests and the employees don't even offer a friendly "hello" despite eye contact. It's a shame for this beautiful environment that you don't have a nice place to enjoy this view.

Ich war dort wiederholt zum Essen. Die Auswahl und die Qualität der Speisen sind hervorragend. Der Koch ist auch nahe des zeitlichen Küchenendes immer noch uneingeschränkt arbeitsbereit. Ingesamt ist die „Harfe“ ein schönes Beispiel für die Gastlichkeit in Plön.
