The food was remarkably good, both in terms of taste and appearance – it's a joy! This certainly justifies the slightly higher price level. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive; we felt at home. It's also cozy, with the tables beautifully set in a classic style. So far, the brasserie makes an above-average impression and justifies a recommendation for a more sophisticated dining experience. 😀 However, I would consider a refresh of the interior renovation to be necessary as soon as possible. And the window cleaners should come more often. Then the ambiance would also be able to achieve more than 3 stars. ♿ The restaurant is easily accessible with a wheelchair.

After a wonderful day in Plön, we discovered this little restaurant. We sat outside and received a very friendly welcome. We ordered a pizza and a pasta dish... we were thrilled, as it was the best pizza we've ever had, and the simple but delicious pasta creation... Highly recommended

We ate at the brasserie today and were thrilled. The service was extremely attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was very inviting. The food was also a complete success—everything was freshly prepared and delicious. We'll definitely be back next year. For us, it's by far the best restaurant in Plön!

Today, May 29, 2025, I picked up a takeaway pizza and salad from the Brasserie am Schlossberg. 1 pizza of the month with salmon, spinach, and crème fraîche, and 1 vegetarian pizza with sheep's loin and double cheese. It came with a mixed salad. The pizzas were really delicious and had a lot on them. Above all, everything was very well seasoned. The taste was amazing. The manager was very friendly and competent. I had our takeaway in just 15 minutes, even though the restaurant was very busy. Everything went smoothly and without any rush. I'd also like to mention that the pizzas were wrapped in aluminum foil. Even though we drove another 25km, the pizzas were still warm. If we come back to the area, we'll definitely stop here.

This is a really cozy place out of the ordinary. Absolutely delicious food. Really refined and tasty. The atmosphere was good and it was a nice peaceful place, even though it was well visited. And the service is great.

We really enjoyed the restaurant at the Schloßberg in Plön. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance was cozy and atmospheric. The pizza de mare with delicious shrimp was particularly delicious. Another highlight: they also serve Fritz-Kola! The location right next to Plön Castle makes the visit even more enjoyable. Give yourself a very special break and best take your little one and your good friends with you. A culinary delight awaits you with a great service team that clearly puts their hearts into it. There were two of us here. The menu and the dishes are really, really good, large portions and super tasty! The service is also excellent, always very attentive and extremely friendly. The atmosphere is very cozy and classically chic. You really enjoy spending time here!

We came here by chance and what a find…we are so glad we stopped. Me and my husband both had a glass of wine and both of our choices were exquisite. I loved my blanc de noir wine from the Pfalz. We both had a salad to start and the salad sauce was out of this world! My husband had the coq au vin and he said it was the best he has ever had! Can you imagine a better compliment!? The restaurant doesn’t serve gluten free pasta. But they were happy for me to bring in my own gluten free pasta and they cooked it perfectly al dente! I had the pasta with large shrimps and it was very good!

Enjoyed very good food. There was salmon carpaccio, then we had the pasta dish with salmon and shrimp and the perch fillet with risotto. Everything is very good and really to the point. Big compliments to the kitchen. The only thing I was missing was a slightly more attentive service that would allow you to look left and right. The young lady that evening was so friendly and so polite, absolutely great, thank you for that!

The brasserie is located directly on the pedestrian zone in Plön - the beautiful outdoor area, however, faces the back - towards the castle and is therefore completely relaxed. Super nice ambience - inside and outside - you can see that this restaurant is family-run. Fast, very friendly and competent service, we didn't have to wait long for the food (the menu was great but we were craving pizza) and it was fantastic. The great red wine rounded off the picture. Always happy again - many thanks to the house.

Went there on a spur of the moment today at 8 p.m. and were looking forward to a good meal. Puppy cake! Unfortunately, the kitchen is only open until 8 p.m. Means... that "unfortunately" there was nothing left. Open until 10 p.m., but kitchen only until 8 p.m.?! I'll leave this free of judgment for the reader to see what they think about this at a crowned restaurant.

There are hardly any vegetarian dishes, certainly no vegan ones, even the pasta dishes contain meat. I did not like it!

The brasserie is very classic and of very good quality. The atmosphere is slightly dated but authentic. The service is very friendly and you feel very comfortable. Prices are high, but appropriate for the performance. At one point or another the taste didn't completely suit us, but everyone may decide that differently. Hence the one star deduction. Overall it was a very nice evening. Dogs are very welcome.

We are thrilled with this great restaurant, beautifully located in the middle of the old town of Plön. Excellent cuisine with great quality. Very friendly service, spontaneously conjured up a dish for our daughter that wasn't on the menu. Thank you for the great evening and the delicious food.

Excellent wine, friendly staff, good food. However, the place feels dated, stuffy, a bit old fashioned and geared towards more senior public. That translates to food too which feels a bit old fashioned too.

Das Essen war insgesamt gut. Risotto mit Leber waren ausgezeichnet.Sehr geschmackvoll und hübsch angerichtet. Die Creme Brulee war leider etwas zu flüssig.Nicht richtig gestockt. Der Service war freundlich und schnell. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung.

Best pizza in Plön but that's not a great standard. Best crème brulée in Plön. My friend and I liked it so much she was stealing from my crème brulée! Good pasta but not many good vegetarian options. My friends liked the pasta here but my vegetarian friend didn't like it.

Nicht ganz tiefpreisig, aber das völlig zurecht: sehr nettes Personal und unglaubliches Essen! Noch nie (keine Übertreibung!) so guten Spargel, so gute Kartoffeln, so gute Sauce Hollandaise gegessen! War jeden Cent wert!

Dieses Restaurant hat - auch aufgrund der guten Rezensionen - neugierig auf mehr gemacht. Leider kann ich die Vorschusslorbeeren nicht alle komplett bestätigen. Das Ambiente ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Senioren fühlen sich hier sicher wohl. Ich bin nahe der 60, mir war es etwas zu spießig, aber das ist auch Geschmackssache. Das vegetarische Gericht (Ravioli mit Spargelgemüse) war sehr übersichtlich, hätte etwas mehr sein dürfen. Das Rumpsteak war guter Durchschnitt, bei dem Preis hätte ich mehr erwartet. Der Nachtisch (Crème Brûlée) war allerdings kaum zu übertreffen, selten so lecker und mit einer Kugel Eis serviert bekommen. Obwohl zu diesem Zeitpunkt das Restaurant nicht stark besucht war, war die Aufmerksamkeit des Services nicht die beste ... aber das erlebe ich in letzter Zeit leider oft. Alles in allem ein schöner Abend, Preis-Leistung könnte jedoch besser sein.

Das Essen ist super, ausgefallene Geschmackskombinationen, erhöhte Preisklasse. Die Bedienung freundlich und auf Zack aber etwas kurz angebunden. Leider waren wir an einem kalten Wintertag da und in dem Restaurant wurde nicht anständig geheizt, so dass man zu dieser Jahresunbedingt warm gekleidet dort erscheinen sollte, ansonsten leidet die Verweildauer und die Stimmung!

Leckeres Essen, erstklassige Lage, keine ewigen Wartezeiten, Kinderlieb. Ein Traum :) Tische draußen stehen schief - aber das ist eben der phantastischen Lage am Schloßberg geschuldet.

Sehr freundliches Personal, auch mit Kindern gut geeignet. Die Gerichte waren hervorragend, das Ambiente sehr stimmig und gemütlich. Obwohl das Restaurant voll war, wurden wir schnell und zuvorkommend bedient. Die Preise sind dem Gebotenen angemessen und gehören zur leicht gehobenen Kategorie. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

Ich war am zweiten Weihnachtstag mit einem Teil meiner Familie zu Gast in der Brasserie. Das Vorhaben bestand schon weit aus vorher, nur passte es zeitlich/jobmäßig bisher nicht. Ein wirklich sehr schönes Ambiente! Prima Service Personal mit einem guten Wissen+sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit! Ein großes Lob an Frau Schulze-Thielmann, für ihre Geduld und liebenswürdige/straighte Art ✌️💓 Eine Empfehlung für Menschen mit Niveau.

2022 dreimal dort bisher gegessen, Salat, Steak auf dem Punkt und im November Ente, zart und saftig, mit Klöße & Rotkohl. Absolut begeistert.

Sehr altes Lokal, Inneneinrichtung in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Essen und der Service waren sehr gut!
