I waited for 1 hour, wasn't served well, didn't eat anything and left

Very nice restaurant, good food, nice service. We would love to come back.

It wasn't our first time at Seeprinz, we've been eating there for many years and were there for the first time this year. I have rarely had such bad food, the currywurst burnt beyond recognition in the deep fryer. The salad dressing tasted like the chewing gum balls that you could get from the vending machine for 10 pfennigs 30 years ago and which we loved so much as children. Maybe the cook was able to buy an old lot and made the salad dressing out of it. From that perspective, a successful sauce. My wife had camembert that had eroded in the deep fryer, no salad dressing and no cranberries either. I had that on my currywurst. Nice to look at as a splash of color with my black currywurst. Conclusion, we will not eat there again. Phenomenal for a drink with a sundowner and a view over Lake Plön! We'll be happy to enjoy it there again soon.

We reserved a spot on the white couch, the colleague on the phone called it “the lounge” and reserved the spot for me. The next day we came by and another colleague told us that the place was occupied and that we couldn't reserve the place. They would then have reserved a place for us on the terrace at the table. Well, it was annoying but the location is really nice and the space was nice too. The prices are a bit high for the food. My wedges were cold and the fried celery slices were so thin that they only tasted fried. The fruity salad dressing was super delicious. I think you pay more for the location, which is really nice. All in all it was "okay" but I would only come for something to drink.

Location: Really wonderfully located - the Seeprinz in Plön is the best (only?) nice location for eating outside because it's basically on the water. In the colder season you should definitely make sure you get a window seat, because the interior ambience with the lime green accents is not very spectacular. Food: What is very positive is that there are vegan options - strangely enough, not yet a standard in this region. But meat fans also get their money's worth. I would describe the menu as large family-friendly, because you can find everything from salads, pasta, tarte flambée, burgers, fish and meat dishes. As it happens when the kitchen tries to satisfy all tastes: none of the dishes are particularly good, but everything is tasty and reasonably priced. And the fries have never disappointed. Service: Some of the staff act like ambitious star hotel trainees, which is neither necessary nor appropriate, but seems a bit stilted. This has been amusing us for years. In a place like this you want to experience natural, relaxed warmth and no “Did the gentlemen enjoy it?” Despite the small points of criticism, we are always happy to come back.

Very nice English speaking staff. Food was nice but wasn't too special. It's your regular "touristy spot" restaurant but does it well! Waiters are really really attentive and we had a great time there.

I wouldn't come here again. It's all about the location, but the prices are not acceptable to me because the quality of the dishes is very low. We weren't impressed by the service either, as our table was only cleared at our request because we would have had to juggle the dessert bowls.

Not exactly cheap, but tasty and filling. The dogs get a bowl of water. Highly recommended. If the weather is good, you should make a reservation.

For what it is (tourispot) it's okay, the food could be more sophisticated, for example the same vinaigrette is used in different dishes, which is also too sweet and not quite suitable (for the starter and main course). Wonderfully beautiful restaurant with a large outdoor terrace on Lake Plön. Prices are also wonderfully high, but it's worth it as a highlight! You can also moor from the water with your canoe or kayak.

We felt like having lunch, dishes look nice, no question. The trout was a little dry, otherwise fine. Service tried hard and friendly, but in standard mode.

Unfortunately completely unprofessional. There is a sign at the entrance that will guide you to your seat. Stood there and was ignored by 5 waiters. Great location right on the lake. Breakfast very good and plentiful. Dinner very different. Caprese with olives....rather not that tasty.. Burgers for over 20 euros are not big. The schnitzel, on the other hand, was very good.

Went there spontaneously for breakfast. Breakfast for 2 is also sufficient for 2 adults and a child. There is something of everything for everyone. Service was friendly and our dog was provided with water without asking.

Blicke von der aufnehmenden Servicekraft, aber keine Reaktion oder Nachfrage, warum wir denn unser Essen noch nicht hatten. Meine eigene Nachfrage ergab zwar eine Reaktion aber nach 10 Min. war immer noch nichts geschehen. Habe unser Getränke bezahlt und sind enttäuscht gegangen. Deutlich mangelnde Gastnähe oder?

Nice restaurant, located directly on Lake Plön. We had trout with fried potatoes and cucumber salad. The trout was tasty, but was previously frozen. Accordingly, the skin wasn't fried until crispy, which I thought was a shame. The cucumber salad was cut into amateurishly thick slices, very sour and inedible to me. The service was friendly. I thought €26.90 for this dish was excessive.

We were spontaneously in the area yesterday, discovered this restaurant while walking and decided to try it... AND... we were most pleasantly surprised! SUPER food, SUPER staff, SUPER children's meals, SUPER ambience and SUPER service! So many great accompaniments to the dish, the cutlery, just great! A motorcycle pizza cutter, LEGO children's cutlery, ultra beautiful cocktail glasses! And a seagull that we were able to watch through the glass roof. Thank you for the great evening!

Went there and had breakfast that was really good

Location and view of the lake are great. The staff is also friendly. But the food is not good at all. And far too expensive for the poor quality. The salad was not fresh and therefore not edible. We were not impressed with the taste of fries and tarte flambée. Unfortunately, there is no fresh cooking here.

Stopped here for coffee time on a motorcycle tour through Holstein Switzerland. A manageable selection of ice cream and cakes, but it is recommended. Lots of in-house and outdoor seating options available. If the weather is good, you should reserve a place on the terrace on the weekend. Parking is available close to the house, free and for a fee. We will come back.

We (2 adults) wanted to stop here for dinner... Great weather, got a great spot on the outside terrace with a view of the lake. Splendid! When we looked at the menu we lost our desire to eat something here. The selection was very clear, I can find the dishes in every chip shop 😟... The prices... Excessively expensive! For a perfectly normal burger with fries €19.90, steak with side dishes almost €30! You can get burgers (the main item on the menu) on every corner for less money! We're happy to pay more sometimes, but we also expect something in return! For the location and with the name we expected something different.... We got up and left... This restaurant wasn't for us! A pity....

First visit: Staff couldn't understand the order, had to ask at least 10 times what I wanted and how, although it was clearly communicated, Aperol wasn't mixed in proportion at all. Second visit (6.6.24): Disappointed again, had to wait forever for the menus, or had to draw our attention and ask for them. Food very nicely prepared and tasty. The young lady from the staff with dark hair and a tattoo on her forearm is very unfriendly and spiteful towards her colleague, who is obviously training. It doesn't work at all.

Basically very nice: Great location, because you're basically sitting on the lake - but you also pay for the great location (0.5 beer - 6.50). The food was delicious - the fried potatoes with the matjes (2 fillets / 19.90) could have been a little crispier.

Very friendly staff, no long wait between placing an order and serving it. Coffee and cake tasted good. The cafe offers a beautiful view over the lake. . . However, the noise level is very high when the dishes are being handled behind the counter or the espresso machine is being used. This is quieter! I also missed a “spit guard” in front of the cake trays that were presented in the open.

Unfortunately very disappointing. I watched it with my daughter for a whole 20 minutes on the lakeside terrace without even getting the card. When we arrived we asked if we could sit outside, and of course we were happy to get a nice one. There were less than 10 guests on site. The staff preferred to clean up instead of serving us. We weren't even allowed to look at the map. Never again.

The Seeprinz is located directly “on” Lake Plön and its location is unbeatable. The view of the lake is really great. Close to the pedestrian zone and easy parking. We only had something to drink - so no review of the food. Friendly and fast service (and delivery) - clean and good seating - nice atmosphere and relaxed audience. The food looked good 😉😉 a must do when you are in Plön - gladly again.

We were here today for asparagus. We emphasized several times when ordering that we didn't want any hollandaise sauce, just the butter. Unfortunately, the meal came with asparagus, which was covered in the hollandaise sauce that was specifically not desired. We were told that the notice in the kitchen was missed. They still asked for the full price. We will not recommend the restaurant.

When we came in we were informed that today was the restaurant's birthday, then there was no further information. What does this mean? You get a piece of cake after your meal or a glass of champagne with the food you ordered or what do you get out of it as guests? Nothing! Why is she telling us about the birthday? There is still a free seat outside, which was still free after we left the restaurant. But they said loudly that there was no free space left outside. I like to eat salad, but this one was like grass and didn't look fresh anymore, for a dish that costs 20-30 euros you just have more expectations. The quality needs to be improved somewhat.

I was there with my girlfriend on May 1, 2024. Great weather and well attended. We were assigned a nice place. The staff is very nice and always there for the guests. We were served immediately without waiting. We didn't have to wait long for food and drinks. The prices are absolutely okay. Everything fit. The food was great, the location was very nice and the staff was very nice and hardworking. Next time I'll bring a little more time. Will definitely go there again.

We wanted a FISH RESTAURANT...that's how it showed up on Google. What I found was a very inviting restaurant...it smelled of fish...everything was ok until then... When we got the menu, only herring with fried potatoes and pollack with Dijon mustard sauce were offered as fish. The service was very inconsistent So three females who conveyed anything but enthusiasm for this job. The mustard sauce was ready-made sauce... because there was a hint of mustard way back... Our two pollack dishes were completely bland and very weakly seasoned, if at all. It's a shame...a "fish" restaurant with this location should offer more fish and no XXL schnitzels.... According to our visit, the price-performance ratio is not even close.
