Tolle Lage mit fantastischem Blick über den Plöner See! Und selten so einen leckeren Matjes mit Bratkartoffeln gegessen! Total lecker 😋. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir waren zu 8 und allen wurde ihr Essen gleichzeitig serviert. Es hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt

Just awesome to sit in the middle of the lake, the service is good and the coffee too

A culinary prince in Plön How nice it is to have a good meal and to be treated with exemplary, honest courtesy and professionalism. How nice it is when this happens three times. November 2024, March 2025 and April 2025. While unfortunately one often experiences that a restaurant rests on its great view/great location and the service and cuisine are rather poor, the great location competes with very tasty food and very good service staff. Be it a young lady in November who does this as a part-time job while attending high school and has such “host qualities” that many full-time adult “professionals” do not, or in all of the other two visits. As I write these lines, I'm already thinking up a reason for the next visit. So it won't be long before I'll be a guest again.

We only ordered two ice creams, after 45 minutes the waiter came to us for the first time and apologized, the ice cream would be there soon. After another 15 minutes he came again and was completely irritated that we still didn't have our ice cream. The whole thing went on like this every 10 minutes, apologizing again and again and reassuring us that the ice cream was currently being prepared. End of the song, after a little over 1.5 hours we left without ice cream 🤷🏼‍♀️

Excellently located restaurant and very friendly service. Unfortunately the food wasn't up to par. I have never eaten such tasteless, half-cooked asparagus. The potatoes served with it were also bland and lukewarm, and the side salad was overly sweet. My impression was that the liquid added as melted butter was something completely different and something I couldn't define. The wine was fine.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Seeprinz in Plön. The location right on the water offers a fantastic view and a relaxed atmosphere. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The meat on my plate didn't initially meet my expectations, but was replaced immediately and easily - the new plate was really excellent. Even though the side salad was a little too sweet for my taste, the rest of the meal was delicious. Overall, a very pleasant and positive experience – we would be happy to come back.

Overpriced and uninspired snack food, lovingly served in a sensational location. You can virtually enjoy the distant view over the lake with your feet in the water. To do this, however, you have to drink Bavarian Helles or Weizen (of course there is wine and spirits, but no other beer) and accept completely overpriced prices for the food. My matjes, offered for sale at a gourmet price of €21.90, was unfortunately of poor discounter quality and accompanied by a thick mayo paste as a sauce and lettuce leaves half-heartedly drizzled with ready-made sauce. Should I have chosen the currywurst for €18.90 or the veal schnitzel for €30.60? Next time it would be better to just have a cocktail on the sun deck, after dinner somewhere else.

The food was very, very tasty. The service was very poor for the price range. You had to draw attention to yourself; no one came on their own. Dirty dishes on the table were also generously overlooked. It's a shame, there's still a lot of room for improvement. We'll come back anyway and hope to be sitting in a better line of sight.

Directly on (in) the Great Plön Lake. You can dock with boats.

Wir hatten Ostersonntag mit 3 Personen für 2 Std. Einen Tisch reserviert. Unser Essen kam gleichzeitig für alle 3 Personen, was nicht unbedingt überall klappt. Ich hatte Spargel mit Kalbsschnitzel für Eur. 30,50 bestellt. Ein riesengroßes sehr dünnes Schnitzel mit einer winzigen Schale Salat und ebenso kleiner Portion Katoffelsalat mit Essig und Öl wurde serviert. Den Spargel suchte ich vergeblich. Auf Nachfrage hatte die Bedienung es angeblich falsch verstanden, obwohl sie es sich notiert hatte. Der Spargel wurde ca. 20 Min. später nachgereicht, 5 Stangen zarten Spargel in einer sehr schlechten Hollandais, wahrscheinlich ein Fertigprodukt. Allerdings vermisste ich auch noch als Beilage die Salzkartoffeln. Das Schnitzel war bretthart und man schmeckte nur die Panade. Alles in allem war es für mich ein enttäuschendes Osteressen, da ich mich auf den ersten Spargel der Saison gefreut hatte, da hätte auch die angebotene Tasse Kaffee als Entschuldigung nicht geholfen. Die restlichen Essen dagegen waren in Ordnung, sonst hätte es nur einen Punkt gegeben.

Went here spontaneously on Wednesday in wonderful weather and found a place on the terrace. A really great view. Unfortunately, we were unlucky that some of our food seemed to have been forgotten. One got it promptly and the other two only got it almost an hour later when we asked. That doesn't work at all. If it had been extremely crowded I might have been understanding, but that wasn't the case. The “special” drink as compensation was a coffee, which sounded better before.

Das Niveau sinkt stetig. Die Bedienung wirkte auf mich unsicher und nicht gut eingearbeitet. Ich bestelle ein Glas Weißburgunder 9,30€ . Gebracht wurde mir eine Weißweinschorle. Das Getränk wurde anstandslos getauscht. Eine Entschuldigung oder ein anderer freundlicher Kommentar unterblieb. Ich hatte Spargel mit Kartoffeln und Wiener Schnitzel für 29,50€. Die Kartoffeln und Butter waren jeweils in einem Schälchen angerichtet. Auf dem Spargel wurde das Fleisch angerichtet.. Ein Schälchen mit Salat war auch dabei. Auf den ersten Blick vermisste ich die Sauce Hollandaise. Den Kellner gefragt, wo die Sauce wäre oder ob er mich im Vorfeld hätte fragen sollen ob ich statt Sauce Hollandaise lieber Butter wünschte, verneinte er. Er verlies den Tisch, um belehrend zurück zu kommen. Ich möge doch das Fleisch hochnehmen, darunter wurde die Sauce sichtbar. Mit mehr Informationen im Gepäck hätte der Kellner einen gleich darauf aufmerksam machen können.. So war es nur sehr unangenehm Das Fleisch war köstlich, der Spargel verkocht und zum Ende unsauber geschält. Die Kartoffeln waren wässrig, ungenießbar. Unterm Strich viel Geld ausgegeben, um am Ende verärgert und enttäuscht das Restaurant zu verlassen.

We had a fantastic breakfast, right next to the fireplace, overlooking the lake. Service was great - quick and friendly.

Lie down on the sofa and enjoy a cold drink in the wonderful sunshine. And that at the beginning of April at 16 degrees 😁

Father-in-law invited us to breakfast at the weekend. We were greeted very friendly, the gourmet breakfast was good and plentiful and the coffee flowed freely 😉Everything seemed well organized and informal. The view is awesome 🤩, which is why you should definitely pre-order. Due to the rainy weather, I didn't take any photos.

Our second visit to the Sea Prince was just as satisfactory as the first. Nice staff, delicious food, slightly expensive drinks (#seeblicksteuer) but the bottom line is that the price is worth it 😉

For a cappuccino you pay 4.10 euros PLUS 1.50 euros for oat milk. Pure rip-off

A bit expensive? Otherwise a very nice place on Lake Plön. For the chilblains: There are also a few doilies here and you can snuggle up on the bench outside ;) The ice cream was really very tasty, but 10 euros per bowl? Plus two drinks and a piece of cheesecake = almost 40 euros. The service is cool, very attentive and very busy. This place is very popular.

We spontaneously popped in here and got a spot in the sun on the terrace. The food was good and the ambience was a highlight. The service, however, was only mediocre. However, the two men were also quite young.

We reserved a table outside for our birthday breakfast. The atmosphere was great, the service was super friendly, the breakfast was perfect. The table was even specially set and a garland was hung up. Nothing more is possible. By far one of our favorite spots for breakfast.

Unfortunately, the breakfast is very minimalistic and simple...always on a cake stand...no matter whether 2 or 3 or 4 people order it. But there is only 1 salad bowl on the cake stand...it's a bit stupid when you have to share with several people...who gets the salad? Unfortunately not stocked with fruit/vegetables for the number of people...very stupid... Very expensive because you have to pay extra for every drink...

Smells a lot like cigarette smoke in the restaurant, apparently coming from the staff's room, the latte tastes like water and the food is thawed and tastes like bad frozen food. We won't be coming back. It's a shame, because the location is actually great. The view deserves the points.

We wanted to eat something, I was with my family, when we were there two small round tables were put next to each other with the statement that the other places are only for people who want to eat, I didn't think that was good at all, I wanted a decent place with my I have a family, so we just had a drink and went out to eat somewhere else. The staff was so rude and cheeky, just for these prices. But sitting out there in the summer is a dream

We have already been here for lunch and breakfast. We enjoyed both. The price is okay, but the location also makes it something special. The staff is friendly, the toilets are clean. We'd love to come back!

I ordered the prince duck dish and received a completely dried out half bird with partially charred skin. After telling the waiter to inform the kitchen, there was no reaction from there, no apology. This behavior prompted me to write this review.

We went to Seeprinz for a spontaneous breakfast. There is a small breakfast selection. Every breakfast is attractively served on a decorative cake stand. All ingredients were fresh, absolutely sufficient quantities. Fresh rolls and delicious croissants. A freshly made omelette made from real eggs with crispy fried bacon, delicious coffee - everything was great. You can sit comfortably in a beautiful atmosphere with a view of the lake and receive extremely friendly and courteous service. Great location, we would love to come back.

A nice place, just had a drink. I thought the price was exorbitant; it was much cheaper on the ship. The view is great, but otherwise not that convincing.

Such a beautiful view! To be honest, I didn't expect much from the food because we came more for the view. But it was so incredibly delicious, we haven't eaten so well in a long time: everything is homemade from scratch and really, really well seasoned. The staff was nice too, it was really great. You have to plan for a bit of waiting time, but you're happy to accept that when you get the chance.

The Seeprinz simply has a great location with a view over the large Plön Lake. It's also very comfortable inside. Although we, our group of 10, had placed our order two weeks in advance, we still had to wait 75 minutes for our food. Quality was ok, but the prices were really high

Das Restaurant Seeprinz liegt sehr schön direkt am Plöner See. Man kann toll draußen sitzen. Wir haben zwei Mal dort zum Abendessen und haben vorher reserviert. Das geht nur um 17 Uhr oder 19 Uhr für zwei Stunden. Ausgebucht war das Restaurant nicht. Die Preise sind hoch. Die Portionen sehr groß, was wohl die Preise erklären soll. Wir haben die Portionen nicht geschafft. Andere Gäste auch nicht. Hier wäre weniger in der Tat mehr. Das ist Lebensmittelverschwendung. Sehr schade, was da in den Müll wandert. Das Essen war lecker, aber nicht herausragend. Sehr unangenehm und unerfreulich war, das, als wir eine Beilage gegen eine andere ausgetauscht haben, hinterher auf der Rechnung die neue Beilage bereichnet wurde und zusätzlich noch 1,50 Euro für den Beilagenwechsel berechnet wurden. Natürlich wurde die ursprüngliche Beilage nicht abgezogen. Das waren mal eben 5 Euro mehr für das Essen. Das stand weder in der Karte noch wurden wir darauf hingewiesen. Auf Nachfrage hieß es nur, "wir haben uns gedacht, dass Sie hier nachfragen". Unverschämt. Allein aus diesem Grund würde ich nicht wieder dort essen.

The motorcycle trip was worth it. According to the motto…“the plönichmir…”! Very juicy Prinzen burger with your own branding! It was delicious. And in this sunshine, the ambience on the outdoor terrace was an additional pleasure for the soul. Prices are on the high side, but you have to be able to treat yourself. A fantastic ride to Plön! And really friendly and patient staff.

There was herring fillet "Nordic style" with homemade sauce "Prinzen style" and fried potatoes, with a small salad with blackcurrant vinaigrette... But hello, how delicious that was!

We were there off season. We really liked it. Nice service, great service, vegan was convincing. Only the salad dressing was too sweet - only Harry and Sally can help: extra dressing please 😉 Sitting outside was of course very nice, make sure to reserve if the weather is good.

Wanted to eat ice cream today. Coming from the other side of the lake by sailboat, 4 people. You can invest wonderfully there We've done this several times before. But We weren't allowed to dock today. That's it then!!!!!!!!!! They'll never see us again.

I can't comment on the food as I only had something to drink. In general it is a nice restaurant and cafe with a view of the lake. The staff is friendly and quick. The prices are high and sometimes overpriced, it's cheeky to charge an extra €1 for alternative milk (oats etc.). That means a cup of coffee costs almost €5, even as a Berliner that's a bit exaggerated, don't you think? Unfortunately, a lot of people still do that and there is no reason for it. There is a need for action here and therefore a star deduction. Otherwise, I can recommend it for a visit if you don't have to worry about money.

I waited for 1 hour, wasn't served well, didn't eat anything and left

Excellent service, great view by the lake and great food and cocktails! We didn’t have any reservation but the lovely waitress got us a table just on the water. We had a great sunset! Very attentive staff who checked up on us if we had drinks and if everything was ok.

It wasn't our first time at Seeprinz, we've been eating there for many years and were there for the first time this year. I have rarely had such bad food, the currywurst burnt beyond recognition in the deep fryer. The salad dressing tasted like the chewing gum balls that you could get from the vending machine for 10 pfennigs 30 years ago and which we loved so much as children. Maybe the cook was able to buy an old lot and made the salad dressing out of it. From that perspective, a successful sauce. My wife had camembert that had eroded in the deep fryer, no salad dressing and no cranberries either. I had that on my currywurst. Nice to look at as a splash of color with my black currywurst. Conclusion, we will not eat there again. Phenomenal for a drink with a sundowner and a view over Lake Plön! We'll be happy to enjoy it there again soon.

We reserved a spot on the white couch, the colleague on the phone called it “the lounge” and reserved the spot for me. The next day we came by and another colleague told us that the place was occupied and that we couldn't reserve the place. They would then have reserved a place for us on the terrace at the table. Well, it was annoying but the location is really nice and the space was nice too. The prices are a bit high for the food. My wedges were cold and the fried celery slices were so thin that they only tasted fried. The fruity salad dressing was super delicious. I think you pay more for the location, which is really nice. All in all it was "okay" but I would only come for something to drink.

Location: Really wonderfully located - the Seeprinz in Plön is the best (only?) nice location for eating outside because it's basically on the water. In the colder season you should definitely make sure you get a window seat, because the interior ambience with the lime green accents is not very spectacular. Food: What is very positive is that there are vegan options - strangely enough, not yet a standard in this region. But meat fans also get their money's worth. I would describe the menu as large family-friendly, because you can find everything from salads, pasta, tarte flambée, burgers, fish and meat dishes. As it happens when the kitchen tries to satisfy all tastes: none of the dishes are particularly good, but everything is tasty and reasonably priced. And the fries have never disappointed. Service: Some of the staff act like ambitious star hotel trainees, which is neither necessary nor appropriate, but seems a bit stilted. This has been amusing us for years. In a place like this you want to experience natural, relaxed warmth and no “Did the gentlemen enjoy it?” Despite the small points of criticism, we are always happy to come back.

Very nice English speaking staff. Food was nice but wasn't too special. It's your regular "touristy spot" restaurant but does it well! Waiters are really really attentive and we had a great time there.

I wouldn't come here again. It's all about the location, but the prices are not acceptable to me because the quality of the dishes is very low. We weren't impressed by the service either, as our table was only cleared at our request because we would have had to juggle the dessert bowls.

For what it is (tourispot) it's okay, the food could be more sophisticated, for example the same vinaigrette is used in different dishes, which is also too sweet and not quite suitable (for the starter and main course). Service is nice, location is great too expensive for what you get! ps too many red pepper berries in the shrimp carpaccio, it covers the taste of the already bland shrimp, 16 for that is way too expensive

Wir waren hier ein Eis essen und ein Bier trinken. Nachmittags. Alles lief gut und rund. Toller Blick auf den See. Zum Essen kann ich nichts sagen. Das Eis war gut und das Bier kalt. Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Hier würden wir wieder ein Eis essen. Hund ist kein Problem.

Top Frühstück, nicht ganz günstig aber definitiv gute Portionen und lecker! Wir hatten für 5 Personen 3 Frühstücke! War top!

Kein längerer Abend mit Freunden planbar, da abends nur in zwei Schichten Abfertigung, 17 und 19 Uhr, 21 Uhr schließt das Lokal. Wir kamen nach telefonischer Bestätigung, es seien noch Plätze frei um 19 Uhr. Erst hieß es, nun sei alles besetzt, dann saßen wir drinnen im Durchgang, obwohl noch viele bessere Tische frei waren. Service war wenig aufmerksam, Essen in Ordnung.

Wonderfully beautiful restaurant with a large outdoor terrace on Lake Plön. Prices are also wonderfully high, but it's worth it as a highlight! You can also moor from the water with your canoe or kayak.

Unfortunately completely unprofessional. There is a sign at the entrance that will guide you to your seat. Stood there and was ignored by 5 waiters. When we asked a waitress if anyone was coming, she was annoyed and said yes, yes, someone is coming. Then sent a little trainee over who told us there was no more room. The solution could have been friendlier and quicker...

Great location right on the lake. Breakfast very good and plentiful. Dinner very different. Caprese with olives....rather not that tasty.. Burgers for over 20 euros are not big. The schnitzel, on the other hand, was very good.

Wir waren im Urlaub hier in der Gegend und hatten den Seeprinz spontan zum Frühstück ausgewählt. Sowohl Service als auch Speisen / Getränke haben uns vollends überzeugt. Wir empfehlen gern weiter und kommen wieder.

The restaurant is located directly on the lake and makes a very nice impression. Unfortunately, the food was average at best and unreasonably expensive. In particular, the dressing for the side salads is virtually inedible.

Schön gelegenes Restaurant, direkt am Plönersee. Aber, ja aber, trotz ausreichend Personal keine Gastnähe und Bestellungsübersicht. Wir hatten bestellt und warteten ohne Erfolg auf unser Essen. Blicke von der aufnehmenden Servicekraft, aber keine Reaktion oder Nachfrage, warum wir denn unser Essen noch nicht hatten. Meine eigene Nachfrage ergab zwar eine Reaktion aber nach 10 Min. war immer noch nichts geschehen. Habe unser Getränke bezahlt und sind enttäuscht gegangen. Deutlich mangelnde Gastnähe oder?
