Very tasty food. Good service but classic ambience. Some like it, some don't.

The Eisenpfanne is a nice restaurant. The service is great and the atmosphere is also nice. I would recommend it.

We really haven't eaten something so delicious for a long time! We were slightly overwhelmed by the selection, so we ate according to our feelings and recommendations. The portions are really big & definitely worth the price. A great taste experience! We'll definitely be back. Thank you also for the friendly and courteous hospitality!

The ambience is very nice but a bit cramped. The staff was friendly but a bit cozy. The food ranged from very good to satisfactory. But all in all we had a very nice evening.

Wir waren hier schon öfter zum Essen (vegetarisch) in den letzten Jahren. Es ist nicht berauschend gut, aber essbar. Der Service war immer freundlich. Im Sommer allerdings ist es Massenabfertigung, was sich auch am Essen negativ bemerkbar macht. Heute (Ende Oktober) war das Lokal kaum besetzt, im unteren Gastraum gerade mal 4 Tische. Die Bedienung erlaubte uns nicht an einem der seitlichen Tische zu sitzen, da es Vierertische seien. Es waren gerade mal 4 Tische besetzt und bei dem Wetter war auch die Innenstadt wie leergefegt, also kein Ansturm zu erwarten. Die Zweiertische stehen ausschließlich in der Mitte und in einem fast leeren Lokal den Gästen die freie Platzwahl zu verwehren ist nicht nur unhöflich sondern dumm. Wir waren erst vor 14 Tagen dort und da war es total okay. Wir konnten sitzen wo wir wollten und an einem Vierertisch saß sogar ein einzelner Herr. Alles kein Problem. Die Bedienung heute war so unhöflich, dass es an DDR-Besuche erinnerte, wo die Bedienung einem unfreundlich den Tisch zuwies. Uns werden sie nicht wiedersehen, wir haben uns wortlos umgedreht und sind gegangen. Ein Erlebnis der besonderen Art.

Nicht empfehlenswert Wir hatten schon vermutet hier niemanden zu überfordern und deshalb Pizza bestellt. Der Teig ist so wie von TK Pizzen die Auflage bei meiner Frau frisch bei mir lieblos aufgehäuft mit den eingelegten Peperoni. Bedienung war nett aber nicht wirklich interessiert.

We were there late on a Sunday (best coffee time for others). The restaurant was very well attended. What is interesting is that German, Italian, Greek and Balkan dishes are offered. We had a Greek grill plate and a lasagna. The dishes came quickly and were served attentively. The portions were so big that we (both adults) could only eat half of them each. Well packaged, we took the other halves home with us and had another very tasty meal the next day. The prices are normal, almost cheap for the size of the portions. We will definitely come back.

There are international dishes here, all of which taste great. The portions are plentiful! You can come whenever you want - it is usually well attended here. It's also very nice to sit outside (when the weather is nice), either in front of the restaurant, in the evening with the pleasant setting sun, or to the side in the small "medieval" path on larger steps. All in all, highly recommended!

We've actually always really enjoyed being here. We even drove a few km for it. But the last few times we were very disappointed. We know that everything has become more expensive and less expensive, but unfortunately the service has also become very poor and not just once. The service staff was once again very unfriendly.

Today was pizza day so we thought why not try it out....... The restaurant is quaint, the service is very friendly and quick. It should be a pizza with spinach and a "Fantasia". Both were almost unseasoned and the dough was reminiscent of cake. It had nothing to do with delicious, fluffy, crispy Italian yeast dough. Unfortunately that was a letdown for us. The other dishes looked attractive and well portioned.

Unfortunately, the restaurant has lost the splendor of years gone by. When I was at school it was still a cult restaurant, but today it seems more like a tourist trap with lackluster service and bland food. One wonders whether the chef even tries what is being served. The pizza was rubbery and tasteless - is the wood oven broken? No trace of crunchiness. The spaghetti carbonara came with cream, which is frowned upon in Italy, but if you're going to do it that way, at least it should be done right. Instead, the noodles were swimming in a watery cream sauce and instead of crispy bacon there was only bland cooked ham. Unfortunately it was a disappointment in terms of taste. You don't go to a restaurant for food like this. What a shame!

We were there for lunch... politely asked if it was ok that we had sat down at a table. It was actually just out of politeness, but we got a very unfriendly answer that there was a sign on the door. We then chose something to eat, rather expensive and got greasy fried potatoes, bland fish, salad with bland dressing, the mustard sauce was good. Overall, no recommendation from us.

The atmosphere was good and really appealed to us! We were accommodated on the upper floor. As we learned, it's hard to get a seat here if you haven't ordered! So the upper floor was ok for us! The service was nice, although it took a while - but the restaurant was full, but that was ok! Maybe I would have had one more beer if it had gone faster! Now about the food: I previously had cheese bread with curry dip! For the main course I had the fillet plate with pork, chicken and beef fillet with fried potatoes and vegetables. My partner had the Greek mixed platter with gyros, pork fillet and sirtaki! The cheese bread was a cheese pizza, but with meaningless tasting cheese! The curry dip tasted absolutely artificial! Overall not tasty! This continued with the fillet plate! All 3 types of meat were very dry and actually all frozen, you can taste it! For me it was barely edible. Very surprising to me based on the reviews! The fried potatoes were ok, as were the vegetables! The hollondaise sauce was a bag of hollondaise, but I liked it very much. Luckily I was able to make the meat tastier! My partner's skewer had pork fillet on it - maybe it should have been the sirtaki! But the individual pork fillet was missing! The gyro was edible, but the consistency was not that of a gyro skewer, it was simply meat cut several times! Finally, I treated myself to a chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and cream. A small cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and 3 huge dollops of cream! But the taste is very good! All in all, I was very surprised - we went there based on the reviews, we were here for a tourist visit! We were very disappointed and have eaten better several times! So if we come here again, we will visit a different location! Maybe it's because they're trying to offer Italian, Greek and German. You should specialize in one thing and increase the quality! Very, very unfortunate!

Ich hab alle möglichen Bewertungen gelesen und kann sagen. Ich bin absolut zufrieden. Für die Preise die ich zahle, bekomme ich einiges und kann was ich nicht schaffe mit nehmen. Das Personal war freundlich und immer da, wenn man was brauchte. Egal was wir hatten, die Qualität war gut. Durch die Erfahrung aus der Küche, kann ich sagen. Nicht alles läuft immer gut und jedes essen kann man misslangen. Das hatte ich hier auch schon, doch ehrlich, sind alles nur Menschen hier. Ich weiß auch nicht wo der laden veraltet ist. Er ist kein klinisch totes Restaurant, sondern ein Laden mit Charm, der sauber und schick ist. Leider habe ich vergessen Bilder zu machen, aber beim nächsten Besuch hole ich es nach.

The store is clean but otherwise not recommended. The prices are quite cheap, but when you get the food you realize that you still paid too much. The pizza tastes like the cheapest ready-made pizza you can get at Aldi (I was assured it was homemade, but if that's true I hope the chef only does it part-time). Bolognese contains so little meat that it can almost be considered vegetarian. It would probably have been better in the cafeteria for a fraction of the money.

Service was very attentive and friendly, although, as usual on Saturdays, it was really busy. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. The chicken was still nice and juicy and the beef was nice and medium rare. The fried potatoes with bacon and onions as well as a generous amount of various vegetables are deliciously seasoned. There were also a few herbs on the meat itself, very tasty. Definitely had nothing to complain about. Price-performance ratio is right here.

But it doesn't matter, not everyone can have everything in their range. Toilets are on the first floor. Difficult to reach for people with walking difficulties. It is advisable to reserve the table in advance and not just show up. There's always a big crowd at 6 p.m.!

Rumpsteak medium mit Bratkartoffeln und Champignons für über 30,00 € .... Gekommen ist Rumpsteak durchgebraten mit lauwarmen Bratkartoffeln. Zudem schwamm das Essen in Öl. Bedienung unaufmerksam. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier in keinster Weise. Fazit: ein in die Jahre gekommender Gasthof mit allenfalls mittelmäßigem Essen, unbeholfenem Personal und deutlich überzogenen Preisen. Nicht zu empfehlen!

Get a seat quickly without a reservation. The restaurant is cozy and somewhat rustic. The service was fine. The food itself was rather average, not particularly tasty or special.

The restaurant offers an extensive menu with no discernible focus. This usually doesn't go well. We ordered a gyros plate and a salami pizza. Before ordering, I specifically asked whether the gyros came directly from the rotisserie. Then came a huge portion of meat with djuvet rice and coleslaw. The pieces of meat were roughly cut and looked more like a deep fryer or pan. The rice was overcooked and the coleslaw was roughly chopped and very sour. The pizza had a thick dough base and a lot of cheese on it, probably Gouda. But also at the lower end in terms of taste. We wouldn't go there anymore. Unfortunately there are not many restaurants in Plön. The menu initially put us off, but due to a lack of alternatives we went there. Unfortunately!

A second visit from us is no longer expected. The Olymp grill plate did not meet our expectations at all. The meat also tasted very sour. With a Gorgonzola pizza you could taste some of it in four small areas. The rest was just pizza salami. The only thing that counts when it comes to points is the good Alster water and the two cold soft drinks.

On the menu under the heading Italy, pizza was offered alongside pasta dishes. So I expect a pizza like what is usually offered in pizzerias. But she wasn't like that. What arrived was a well-topped, exactly round pizza with a hard edge. Obviously not a hand-made floor. The impression was that it was a pre-made base or a kind of Pizza Margherita (like Dr. Oetker), which was only "refined" with various toppings.

The staff is friendly, the food was good but not so good that we would go here again on our vacation. Prices are reasonable.

Delicious salami pizza I had the pleasure of trying the pepperoni pizza at this restaurant and I have to say it was simply amazing! The dough was perfectly crispy and airy at the same time, exactly how you want it. The tomato sauce had a wonderfully fruity note and harmonized wonderfully with the mild, spicy taste of the melted cheese. The salami itself was of the best quality: nice and spicy, not too greasy, and distributed on the pizza in just the right amount, so that every bite was a small taste experience. The combination of spicy salami and the slight spiciness of the fresh ingredients made this pizza a real highlight. Overall, one of the best salami pizzas I've had in a long time. I will definitely be back and highly recommend them to any pizza lover!

Unfortunately I can't judge the food as I didn't get anything to eat. I am very disappointed that you won't find a vegan dish in 2024 - although Spaghetti Aglio e Olio is very simple and quick to make. But there was no exception on the grounds that everyone wants one - an Italian meal that can be made with the simplest ingredients available... Unfortunately, I don't understand why you can't prepare a simple Italian dish for four paying guests. The ambience was nice, the location was very nice. We ended up here because of good reviews online. The portions offered are quite large, for me “artisan plates”. My wife had a Primitivo wine with our meal, which was probably quite good. Her gyro plate was made of meat that definitely didn't come from a rotisserie. Probably from the pan, with a high fat content. And unfortunately they also tasted like fat. My lumberjack steak was also a bit tough and not particularly appetizing. The main drawback with the plates was that they looked like they had been filled with an excavator. Try cutting a tough piece of meat lying on a pile of fried potatoes. The service was nice and friendly. Conclusion: The kitchen was totally disappointing and the good ratings were inexplicable for me. Unfortunately a failure. For people with disabilities: The toilet is on the 1st floor.

Today, after the 5 Lakes bike tour on a cargo bike without electric drive, but with a child on board, we arrived at the iron pan, exhausted and hungry. The menu also offers a relatively large selection of children's dishes, there are a lot of children's chairs, all in all you just feel welcome here with children 👌🏻 The food from the Greek section was great, full marks. A request for changes to the supplements was no problem. You should try the many non-alcoholic drinks that are currently available in summer outside of the standard drinks menu. The waitress came several times and asked whether everything was okay and the food tasted good and was very friendly and made us feel welcome ☺️ At the end, our daughter was allowed to take two coloring pictures with her and was given a bag of gummy bears. A single point of criticism, which is deliberately placed at the end of the review and may have been due to the full house: We were the first guests to arrive on the upper floor and after us three more tables were occupied by other guests. Our order was the last to be taken and therefore the last to be brought to the table, while the others had long since received their food. It was probably because we sat right at the back against the wall and the waitress worked her way from the front to the back. Everything on the upper floor is very bright, modern and friendly; on the ground floor it seemed a bit dark when I walked through.

Very friendly entrance. We were able to sit outside, even though the official opening time was 12 p.m. The menu left nothing to be desired. Whether German, Italian, Greek, etc. cuisine, there were just great dishes, so choosing was very, very difficult. The drinks and food were served incredibly quickly and in a friendly manner - we also noticed this with the other guests. The dishes were lovingly prepared and tasted delicious. Hello first of all, we have been regular customers for 10 years. Unfortunately no one knows us yet, but that's of course because the restaurant is very busy, and rightly so, we only had bad luck once when I think the Giros was warmed up three times, but don't worry about it. What really bothers me is that a slightly larger, strong blonde 👱‍♀️ woman was in a bad mood twice. After I asked for a free table in a friendly manner, especially since a colleague told me please ask at the counter.... Her rather unfriendly answer was ask my colleague etc. I'm thinking about coming back again with my wife. When you're not welcome.

I don’t really understand the great reviews. Ordered a pizza and what we got felt and looked like a small frozen one, also a Bolognese that was mostly a tomato sauce and a huge pile of pasta. Souvlaki was good, and sizes (except pizza) were big. But overall the food didn’t meet our expectations. The service however was very nice.

We always like to visit the Iron Pan and when you know that the Iron Pan has been around since 1976 and that we have lived in the Plön district since 1980, you know that we are loyal visitors, right?

Potato casserole and homemade lasagna arrived 5 minutes after ordering. A high-speed kitchen eliminates the question of fresh preparation. Unfortunately the taste is not convincing either. Conclusion: Quality and price don't match!

Had a grill plate there, among other things. Ordered with gyros. The portion was big enough to fill you up. What was unpleasant, however, was that it wasn't real gyros, but (ready-made) pan gyros from a bag that was served, which doesn't come close to a real gyros dish. If there had been a corresponding note (pan gyros) on the menu, I would definitely have chosen a different dish.

The atmosphere makes a cozy impression and the staff is extremely relaxed and friendly. Unfortunately, the food didn't really convince me.

Weder griechisch noch Balkan dieKüche besteht aus Fertiggerichten aller Art egal ob Fleisch Sauce oder Gemüse. Es ist einigermaßen schmackhaft zubereitet, große Portionen und das Preisleistungsverhätniss ist ok. Der Service verdient 5/5 aber definitiv kein zweiter Besuch
