I was really curious about this place because it has a good amount of very good reviews as well as very bad reviews on google, but I kept seeing that it was a very traditional japanese place so I decided to give it a try, and I gotta say I was not disappointed! The food is exactly what I expected it to be, the portions are not big, but if you know anything about japanese culture, then you know that they do not eat to be full, they just eat to be satisfied and therefore, they never have gigantic portions of food. You get good quality fresh fish in bigger pieces, so in my opinion, the pricing is completely fair. The lady that served us was extremely nice, and the chef was also friendly to us. I believe when you go into a place like this understanding the culture and respecting the traditions, they will be more than happy to have you as a guest. I highly recommend it for anyone that wants real japanese cuisine in Dresden. This is a hidden gem in Dresden!
We had lunch today with a party of 9. Cozy restaurant, very nice staff. Unfortunately we waited 70 minutes for food. Unfortunately, several dishes were just disappointing.
The dumplings were made from ready-made dough. The goose leg was cold inside. The asparagus was unpleasantly sour, although no one could say whether it was the asparagus itself or the way it was prepared. My daughter didn't eat the pancakes, which is really a statement. These were also made from ready-made dough and had a completely strange consistency. All in all, unfortunately not good home cooking, just warmed up ready-made food.
I have the impression that a good kebab near the station is rare. Not having much time, I took what was at hand. Unfortunately, I came across an average one. Dürum with cheese – the size was OK, but there was little meat and the cheese and sauces were not impressive. I probably won't come back again.
Our dear colleagues generally do not use gloves and very rarely use the hand basin. Nevertheless, people put their hands in the salad, the sausage, etc. and put it on the pizza, roll the wrapper, lick their fingers, scratch something quickly, it's just disgusting. I saw it personally in Meißen as well as in Spremberg. Ask, ...we are not obliged to use gloves or tools...
