Die besten Restaurants in Zwenkau

After a walk of about 3km we were looking forward to beer and food, but we didn't need any guests there, saying we would be full until 10pm and our kitchen with two men couldn't manage it. There were two couples in the restaurant at 11:30am and the beer garden is empty so you don't feel like it.

The price level has risen significantly, but the quality of the food has also improved. Subjectively, the portions have become a bit smaller, but still ok for “normal” hunger. The staff is friendly and accommodating, it's a good place to sit and relax, especially in the outdoor area if it's warm enough.

The food is very tasty. Everything is very clean here and the food is freshly prepared.

Super tasty Indian dishes that don't spare anything! We had Lamb Vindaloo and Saphron Chicken. I also tried lentil soup which was delicious. Naan is like a buttery cloud. Really great flavours all around! And super professional service. We ordered through Lieferando and we'll hopefully visit! We moved to Pegau from Frankfurt and tried a lot of restaurants there, but for me personally this is the best Indian food I've had so far in Germany. Recommend.

We reserved a table three to four months in advance. I've now received the call that our appointment has been canceled so that a celebration is suddenly taking place. It's not bad so far. But no alternative date was even mentioned.

I had read the review beforehand and still went there to eat. I was there around 5:30 p.m., warm welcome, 4 tables already occupied. Good service, very good food. I cannot confirm the negative reviews. I'd love to come back! Best regards Uwe

Unfortunately, the gastronomic situation in Zwenkau has shrunk considerably. Somehow incomprehensible, with the ambitions of the city, with the harbor and all the new residents and tourists. Of the long-established restaurants, the Schützenhaus is now probably the last one that still offers warm food. But I can only recommend this one! The food is delicious and plentiful, special requests are also taken into account, the staff - from the boss, Mr. Valtin, to the waitress - is extremely friendly and the price-performance ratio is very good!! I hope and wish that this restaurant will continue to exist with this line-up for a long time! For me, who comes to Zwenkau for a short visit once or twice a year, the Schützenhaus is my first choice for a good meal.

The food gets worse every time. The delivery person is very unfriendly and barely speaks German. Furthermore, he is allergic to small change and is unable to count it. He even refused to accept our change, considering that some businesses charge fees for change...incomprehensible... The delivery service is unpunctual and simply not recommended…
