Just bad! We just wanted to have a relaxed 6th dinner. It started when they messed up the drink order. Large drinks were small and some were missing entirely. Now about the order, about 30 minutes later the food arrived. Ok in itself... but then there was one pizza, the dough wasn't cooked through and was as thin as paper. Then complained and then everyone was finished eating at the table. After 30 minutes the pizza we complained about arrived. I let her go back. Saying I should take her with me. Simply no! Save yourself the visit. A table away also had problems.

The place right on the lake is very nice, the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately the menu only had pizza and pasta, I would have liked fish or a meat dish on it, the pizza was. It was very tasty to eat with mozzarella and there was also olives and bread as a welcome gift from the house. That's why one star less because you can perhaps increase the selection a little.

We love this restaurant because Italian hospitality is the name of the game here. You feel like you've been on holiday a little bit. The food is delicious and the ambience by the lake is beautiful. We like to come back again and again.

We chose this location to enjoy a nice Sunday afternoon. I ordered an ice cream sundae for which I had to wait 30 minutes and when it was finally brought I realized that it wasn't what I ordered. No problem, I should get a new one. For which I had to wait another 30 minutes. In the meantime my partner had already reached the end with his tiramisu and coffee. When the ice cream sundae I had ordered was brought to the table after an hour, I realized again that it did not correspond to the order I had placed at all. What's so hard about an ice cream sundae that contains 3 scoops of yogurt ice cream and strawberries? In the end I gave up ice cream completely and we paid and left. Furthermore, I really have to mention the arrogant manner of the waiters. This location is not in any price-performance ratio and I definitely cannot recommend it. It's a shame that there is no competition here.

Apparently they didn't want us as guests. I just wanted to ask for a table and was mocked, they didn't let me finish and denied my question in the middle of a sentence. Overall, I didn't feel taken seriously and didn't feel welcome at all. Very, very unfriendly and completely for no reason. I'm horrified.

Very nice location right on the water, the food was of great quality. The service was quick and professional. Thank you dear team. It is advisable to reserve during peak times. We will come back.

A really nice place. Just wanted a coffee with ice cream from the ice cream stand that was next door to the restaurant. Unfortunately it wasn't clear that the ice cream stand wasn't serving anything at the table. So we just had a coffee, which was fine. There was also some tension in the air between the restaurant owner and the staff. Too bad! However, I can't comment on the food. Later, however, we each ate a scoop of ice cream from the ice cream stand, which again was highly recommended. Unfortunately, nothing was possible with ice cream cones, only paper cups 🤷.

Unfortunately the food was subpar. Embarrassing for an Italian. The pasta was floating in oil, had no seasoning and was definitely al dente. With the lasagna you could look for the pasta sheets between the overcooked minced meat sauce. And the crowd was also a joke. Maybe enough for a child, but definitely not a portion for an adult. When complained, the chef became cheeky and asked if anyone else had a problem. At least the food wasn't charged when paying. Otherwise definitely not recommended.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not good, even if you sit in a nice atmosphere. Portions small, poorly seasoned, let alone the absolutely overpriced starter plate... nothing special, regardless of whether it was pizza or pasta. Service is good, it could be a little friendlier and a little quicker, but overall it's okay. Maybe for an aperitif again, otherwise skip it.

The restaurant has a great location overlooking the harbor. But that's where the positive ends. We were greeted very rudely by an older waiter and ignored. Another waiter brought us a card and the service was good. The food was beyond bad. The waiter apologized and offered us espresso and grappa. We definitely won't be coming back

Beautifully located restaurant with a great view of the harbor, pizza was delicious, service was very nice and quick, great ice cream sundaes.

There were three of us and Il Lago was our first stop on our spontaneous trip. What can you say? Disappointing as a restaurateur? I don't know. Ambience: Well. A few flowers on the outdoor tables would make it a little more inviting. For the “Hot Cherries with Vanilla Ice Cream” only the vanilla ice cream should be replaced with chocolate. Lt. The waitress said this wasn't possible, but you could queue up at the ice cream stand and buy a scoop of chocolate. I don't understand the problem of simply replacing the scoop of ice cream?! In the end it became a latte. The cup of coffee would have made you think it was espresso. And last but not least, the shandy was at room temperature. Not so hot on a hot day. Conclusion: In 2 out of 3 things alone, Il Lago is out of the running for us and does not qualify for further visits. Everyone has to decide for themselves or just try it out. These are merely empirical values.

Great location, very nice staff. Unfortunately there was only one ice cream sundae and ice cream cafe/ice chocolate. That was super tasty and recommended. Otherwise we haven't tried the "warm" food yet, we'll do that next time 😉

It actually took me a year to write this review. The olive starter was served with small wooden skewers and was delicious. For the main course we ordered pasta with shrimp! The main course arrived, the atmosphere was great and I wanted to leave a nice review on Google. To get a better look at the shrimp, I took this small wooden skewer from the starter and draped the shrimp a little more upwards. Suddenly the boss came to me angrily…. why I go back and forth with the “toothpick” (that’s what he called the chopstick) in his food. Loudly in front of all the guests🙈 Terribly aggressive! This way doesn't work at all! A quiet inquiry at the table would have been professional. I paid and didn't even taste it. It's a shame but the waiters were very nice.

Good location by the lake, nice terrace, but in the fresh weather we had to sit inside, and it's not comfortable there, the tables are close, someone keeps walking past your back, very loud, both from the employees (cutlery banging on each other), as well as from the guests (chair legs gathering on the floor, children running). The food was good, but the atmosphere was like in a commercial kitchen.

Food, service, value for money are absolutely top - the ambience is great if you can sit at the harbor, in the restaurant there is a little room for improvement if you sit in the middle of it. Anyone who likes Italy is in good hands here.

The decor is stylish and cozy, both indoors and on the outdoor terrace, making dining a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The menu offers a diverse selection of Italian and Mediterranean specialties. From crispy wood-fired pizzas to fresh pasta dishes and tempting desserts, there is something here to suit every taste. I would particularly like to highlight the Neapolitan pizza, which is prepared with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. In summary, "Il Lago" is a perfect place to indulge in culinary delights while enjoying the idyllic surroundings. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit.

A real Italian restaurant with friendly service and delicious food… After a hike in the beautiful area, there is a perfect place to take a break and enjoy Italian delicacies right on the promenade with a view of the small harbor. We just wanted to have something to eat until we set off on the lake cruise on the Santa Barbara. Whether savory with bitters and caprese or sweet as a cappuccino with homemade tiramisu - you will start again very tasty and satisfied. We are convinced that you can also have a wonderful dinner here and spend a perfect early summer evening. Conclusion: absolutely recommended!

Zero stars, never again. When we wanted to pay, we were told that “all” the waiters had lunch now. Finally we were insulted and shouted at by the boss and insulted that the “Germans” never had time. It's worth noting that after half an hour of waiting, I politely asked again if I could pay. Something like this has never happened to us before, unfortunately none of the guests dared to express their opinion about it. Nobody is allowed to eat there anymore, it's really bad.

I'm very disappointed, I've never been served so badly at an Italian restaurant, and that on Mother's Day. The order was taken incorrectly! At the neighboring table, schnapps was given twice, but we didn't have any... But the view is very nice.

We were there on the weekend two weeks ago. I only ate one tiramisu, but I wasn't impressed with the taste. Then I drank a Crodino and since I had already drunk a Crodino somewhere else the day before, I had a direct comparison and I have to say, this one was diluted with water and then added ice??? If I had let this thaw, I would have almost drunk pure water. And the whole thing for 8.50 euros, so hello... for me the price-performance ratio is not right at all. That's why I definitely won't sit here anymore! But the view of the lake was very nice, but Il Lago can't do anything about that.

After 40 minutes of waiting we left?!?

Extremely expensive, half a liter of water costs 5.40 euros and very unfriendly if you want to pay by credit card, the boss gets angry. The fact is, we won't see you here again, especially the cheeky boss. In addition, every shop says that no card payment is possible, it doesn't say this here, it's a pure rip-off restaurant.

Attractive location, nice staff - very accommodating, clear menu so guaranteed fresh products, great view of Lake Zwenkauer. Today we had the appetizer plate that was very oily, the price was too high, and the portion was too small for two people.

When we are at Lake Zwenkauer we like to come here for an Italian restaurant. Located directly on the harbor with a view of the harbor, you can always sit very comfortably and experience the sunset. There is typical Italian cuisine. So far we have always been right with our choice of food and drinks. Thank you for your hospitality.

Some pasta dishes and the pizzas are quite good, the prices are just ok. The staff is mostly friendly, but sometimes overwhelmed. Thursday rest day.

We were guests on a Saturday evening without a reservation. The fact that we hadn't made a reservation wasn't a problem - we were greeted in a friendly and very polite manner and shown to the table. Less than 2 minutes later we received the menu and the order was taken courteously. While we waited we received a snack basket with bread and olives. The waiting time to receive the drinks and food was very short. The meals we ordered were very appetizingly prepared and incredibly tasty. The price-performance ratio is fair, the atmosphere in the restaurant is nicely designed and the staff is really friendly. We would definitely love to come and eat with you again! :-) Thank you for this lovely evening. ☺️

Netter Service und der Blick auf den See ist natürlich auch fein, aber das Essen ist leider nur Medium. Die Pizza hat einen guten Teig ist aber leider etwas fad im Geschmack. Die Nudeln etwas verkocht und aber auch diesen fehlt es an Geschmack. Leider etwas teuer für das was man bekommt.

Tolle Lage, unkomplizierte Reservierung, gutes italienisches Essen, Preis Leistung stimmt und am wochtigsten: Hat Montags geöffnet!!!

Man sitzt sehr schön am Hafenbecken mit Blick über den See. Sonnenuntergang und gutes Essen , was will man mehr? Tischreservierung klappt telefonisch wie üblich sehr gut, das Personal ist freundlich und höflich- nichts auszusetzen. Der Laden war voll, die Wartezeiten moderat, aber wer es eilig hat kann ja zum Schnellimbiss gehen.

Wir waren heute spontan hier auf eine Pizza. Aufgrund der schlechten Rezensionen waren wir skeptisch, dann aber positiv überrascht. Die Pizza war sehr lecker, dünner knuspriger Boden. Aussicht auf den Hafen und ein kaltes Getränk, was will man mehr. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Grazie mille!

Schönes Restaurant, waren leider zu früh dort, hatte noch keinen Hunger! Sehr nette Bedienung!

Plastikstühle an der Straße, mit Kind 10 min auf Getränkebestell Frage warten, Pasta nicht al dente und nichts besonderes. Dazu und dafür sehr teuer.

Direkt am Zwenkauer See, sehr schön. Leider waren die Tische in der 1.Reihe mit Blick zum Hafen mit Flatterband abgesperrt. Deshalb ein Punkt Abzug beim Ambiente. Personal sehr freundlich, Essen kam schnell. Der Salat war nicht herausragend, aber frisch und lecker. Es gab Baguette mit Oliven als kleine Vorspeise aufs Haus. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.
