Wir kommen schon viele Jahre in diese Gaststätte. Es ist gemütlich. Das Personal super nett und freundlich. Das Essen super lecker. Man kann das nur weiterempfehlen. Hier fühlt man sich einfach nur wohl. Der hausschnaps sehr lecker 😋. Wir kommen auf jeden fall wieder. Vielen Dank .

Habe angerufen wegen Reservierung. Anruf wurde freundlich entgegengenommen. Mit Hund im Biergarten gesessen. Es wurde gleich Wasser gebracht für ihn. Essen war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Eine sehr schöne klassische Kneipe mit prima Essen und gutem Service... zum Herrentag gab es sogar noch einen kleinen leckeren Shot aufs Haus... ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen.

Heute zum Mittagessen im Sportlerheim eingekehrt und gleich sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Die Bedienung hat gleich freundlich gefragt, welchen Tisch man wünscht und gleich beim Essen bestellen sehr gut beraten. Dort kocht die Chefin alles selbst, SPITZE und SUPER Qualität. Einfach Lecker. Hier war alles rundherum super ! Das Essen ( Ochsenbäckchen und Rinderroulade ), der Service, alles sehr gut , wir können nichts beanstanden, sind dankbar einen Platz bekommen zu haben. Ein Schild mit Mein Lokal, dein Lokal und dann noch 1.Platz , sagt alles . Super gemütliches Sportlerheim, mit tollem Außenbereich. Die Küche ist der absolute Hammer, alle Speisen werden frisch zubereitet und liebevoll angerichtet. Auf der Suche, nach deutscher Küche, haben wir das gemütliche Sportlerheim gefunden. Sind sehr herzlich empfangen wurden. Das Essen ist spitzenmässig, das Personal ist super nett. Das war vor drei Wochen und seit dem sind wir wöchentlich da. :-) Auch Paul ist herzlich willkommen und fühlt sich hier sehr wohl.🐶Vielen Dank an Kathrin und Simone. 💞💓💞

Yes, the Eichholz is basically a restaurant at a sports complex, serving traditional German cuisine at reasonable prices. The service is also okay. The ambiance suits the location. However, what is completely unacceptable is that the opening hours are not adhered to. Either you arrive two hours before closing time (according to Google Maps) and the kitchen is closed, or, as happened today, you find out two hours before closing that they're closing. This is simply unacceptable, especially since the restaurant confirmed and updated the opening hours and other information as correct just nine weeks ago.

Super sweet, kind, and friendly service! The food was beautifully presented and the menu selection was excellent. Everything was delicious and very tasty, prepared with fresh ingredients. I'm extremely satisfied and can only recommend it to anyone who wants to eat very well. Really great, keep up the good work! Cheers!

We went here because of the good reviews and were not disappointed. Even though it was late and we arrived unannounced, we were still warmly welcomed and were seated. The food selection was so good that we definitely have to come back, and the quality and taste were top-notch. The value for money is reasonable. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten track near the sports field, but there is ample parking right in front. The staff was very friendly. If you want to be sure of a seat, it's best to call and make a reservation in advance.

After a walk of about 3km we were looking forward to beer and food, but we didn't need any guests there, saying we would be full until 10pm and our kitchen with two men couldn't manage it. There were two couples in the restaurant at 11:30am and the beer garden is empty so you don't feel like it.

The athletes' home at Eichholz is somewhat inconspicuously hidden on the sports field in Zwenkau and is an absolute recommendation! We had our daughter's start of school organized here and everything was perfect. Our wishes were implemented exactly as discussed before. The service team was very friendly. The food is incredibly tasty, which is what all the guests reported back to us. And people, be sure to try the spiced meat, it's sensational. A big thank you to Simone and her team from the athletes' home at Eichholz. P.s. The sports center rightly received first place in the VOX TV series “Mein Lokal Dein Lokal”.

The food was delicious, I haven't eaten so well in a long time. The service was friendly and immediately thought of the dog. I ate twice during a 3-day vacation. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely go for a delicious meal there again.

Vacation in Zwenkau. Where do you go to eat. Our landlord's tip: the athletes' home at Eichholz. Call before opening time! was received in a friendly manner and the call back with reservation confirmation followed promptly. The boss makes the food herself. Super tasty and large portions. A super nice lady does the service! You immediately feel at home there. The beautiful weather and a great spot in the beer garden complete the picture. Highly Recommended!!

Freundliches Personal, super leckere Gerichte, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Man muss einen kleinen Moment länger auf das Essen warten, wird dafür aber mit frisch zubereiteten Speisen belohnt. Da kommt nichts aus der „Konserve“ Kurzum, wir waren rundherum zufrieden und satt und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

Today we had lunch at the Am Eichholz athletes' home. The service and attention were incredibly friendly. We have rarely eaten as well as we did here; the meat was very tasty and tender. The portions are generous and lovingly prepared. We'd love to come back!

We actually didn't expect to have dinner here today without a reservation. But it worked and it was great. The food was very tasty. There was also a tasty beer from the house brand (Lausitzer private brewery) and all of this in the evening sun of a beautiful spring day. The service was also very pleasant, friendly, accommodating, interested, just as you would expect. At the end there was a homemade schnapps on the house. I think the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Unfortunately, it's no longer really an insider tip in my new home, so next time we'll probably make a reservation as a precaution. Went here specifically based on the reviews and were not disappointed. Super nice owners, super great food. You should bring a little time with you, as everything is freshly prepared. There is nothing to complain about in terms of taste and the food is lovingly prepared. At the end you get a homemade drink on the house. We were completely satisfied and cycled home full and happy.

Were at Eichholz on Sunday April 7th, 2024 Eating with 4 men. The food was great and the service was first class. Sitting outside is wonderful, old trees provide shade and create a pleasant climate. We returned home full and satisfied and can definitely recommend this restaurant.

There are days when you are surprised. This was a wonderful and tasty meal. Hats off...... a schnitzel with mushrooms to get it like that. To make fries like this you have to have studied. The tongue was also incredible. And we move around the world a lot. Thank you. Family Hecht

After a nice bike ride we discovered this restaurant. We were a bit skeptical since it was “just” an athletes’ home. But we were more than positively surprised. Nice ambience, great food and nice staff. We wouldn't have expected that in this somewhat remote area.

After our bike tour we spontaneously ate wild goulash with dumplings and red cabbage - a poem. The red cabbage is on point, super seasoned and just the right consistency. The goulash consisted of the finest meat, was tender and had a great sauce. The service was attentive and very friendly. All in all, a rare good restaurant exception.

The food was very tasty and the portion was very large. The seasoned meat is awesome. At the end there was free homemade schnapps. We will come back.

Wie immer ein gelungener Abend mit leckerem Essen, freundlichen Bedienungen und netten Gesprächen, wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

Spontan noch einen letzten Platz in diesem liebenswerten und gemütlichen Vereinslokal bekommen. Jedes Essen war 10 Punkte wert und hat den „Teller“ redlich verdient 👌✌️👏

Gaaaaanz lecker Essen, sehr freundliche Bedienung und angenehme Atmosphäre in einer Sportlerkneipe, bei der man ein so hohes kulinarisches Niveau absolut nicht erwarten würde. Man kann drinnen ( manchmal mit Sky- Fußballübertragung) oder draußen unter alten Eichen sitzen und es sich bei ein zwei drei Bierchen (verschiedene Sorten) gut gehen lassen. Sehr sehr empfehlenswert! Immer wieder gerne!

Wer gute deutsche Küche mag, ist(s)t hier genau richtig. Preis Leistung stimmt, das Personal nett und freundlich, das Ambiente Sportlerheim passt, was willst du mehr. Die Rouladen sind absolute Spitze, das Hamburger Schnitzel eine Klasse für sich, alles wird frisch zubereitet und schmeckt dementsprechend gut. Also einfach mal hin und ausprobieren, wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir wollten gestern alte Freunden treffen und haben fürs Abendessen nach einer schönen Lokalität gesucht. Die Gaststätte haben wir zufällig im Internet gefunden und nach den Bewertungen ausgewählt. Wir waren positiv überrascht, das Essen war sehr gut und frisch zubereitet. Nächstes Mal stellen wir die sympathische Gastgeberin auf die Probe und bringen noch ein paar Freunde mehr mit 😉

Zufällig über Google entdeckt, gesucht, gefunden und positiv überrascht; schöne Plätze im Schatten der Bäume Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen wurde frisch zubereitet (deshalb etwas Zeit einplanen!), war vollkommen ausreichend und hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Man kann das Sportlerheim nur weiterempfehlen.
