Highly recommended. We felt very comfortable. Nice restaurant with very nice service. The selection of food is sufficient and there is definitely something for everyone. The portions are good and very nicely prepared. It was very tasty. We would love to come back.

The place was packed on a Saturday night. The service was attentive and friendly. There were 17 of us, and we received excellent service. I only had two starters, though, as I wasn't very hungry. They were very good, though. Salads and pizzas were eaten at the table. Everyone was very satisfied.

Women's Day 2025, the positive thing was the food... service was not good at all... when we reserved our table we pointed out that it was Women's Day so that there had to be enough service staff present as the restaurant was always fully booked... last year everything worked better and we were satisfied... we had compared 2024 to 2025... it was just a shame that we were so disappointed today

So the service and ambience was great, but there was a mango. I ordered a kebab box and was dissatisfied. The meat was too dry and the fries tasted like they had used up fat, not very appealing from a salad perspective, it was good

The food is very bad. I ate some of it and then I had severe stomach pain for two days. I do not recommend eating them and their work is not clean.

First the positive. The food was super tasty and really great for the price. There's absolutely nothing you can say. The mango lassi also had a lot of spices, as it should be, but unfortunately you definitely don't get it from every Indian. The ambience itself is actually nice, where we come to the negative. We ordered a table for 2 people a few days in advance. When we arrived there was only one table occupied, so you would have had a free choice of seats. But what are you doing with us? We sit down at a table for four, which we pull apart so that we have two tables of two, 5cm apart. My friend asked if there wasn't another table for two we could sit at and was just looked at strangely. Nobody reacted. I then asked if anyone else would be seated at the neighboring table (5cm away), and was told "Definitely not at the moment", so we stayed seated there. In the meantime, a lot of couples came in without a reservation and were seated at a table for four without complaining, which wasn't pulled apart. Why didn't that work for us? We have made a special reservation! It didn't take 10 minutes until our neighboring table (5cm away!) was occupied and from now on we were basically sitting at the table with a strange couple. All! Those who came in without a reservation were given a table for four. So I'm wondering why they couldn't put us there? To be honest, we felt a bit ripped off and don't know whether we'll come back again after this event. What I also didn't find particularly inviting was our tablecloth, which already had several stains when we sat down. Looked like they hadn't been replaced in 3 days.

Panorama and view priceless. Very friendly service. Schnitzel was tasty and surprisingly large in size. However, quite thin and therefore a bit dry. The fried potatoes, like grandma's... well, I know them differently, could have been a little more. The portion was quite small. Very nicely presented on a plate. I think we'll have to get used to the prices. €19.50 is already a challenge with a small income.

03/04/2025 We often come to the Lotus privately and also through the martial arts association Shorai Do Kempo Dojo Merseburg e.V. It's inexpensive, tasty and the food is beautifully presented. Disappointing experience We had pre-ordered food for my grandma's 86th birthday party - specifically with the request that it be delivered promptly at 1:30 p.m. because she is diabetic and needs her insulin on time. Unfortunately we had to ask at 1:50 p.m. where the food was. There was no apology or clear answer, just a statement that it was “coming soon.” The driver didn't come until 2:05 p.m. - also without any apology. To make matters worse, the driver had no change when we gave him €90 for a bill of €81. His reaction was simply: “Can’t give it out anyway.” – and he simply left. Of course we wouldn't have wanted to give a tip for this impudence. Overall a very disappointing experience. Punctuality, customer service and appropriate communication should be a given in an inn - unfortunately that wasn't the case here.

I can only recommend a somewhat quaint little restaurant but extremely tasty and at a great price. The service was super friendly, accommodating but not intrusive, very nice. I had a veal schnitzel with fried potatoes and mixed vegetables, it was so delicious, just awesome.
