Best restaurant in Merseburg. If you're looking for good food and great service, this is the place for you. We have been to the Wilhelm B.18-32 restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. Absolutely recommended.

Very nice location, delicious and very good quality food, super nice host!

Ambiance very nice rustic. Service very good, very friendly. Food quality/price performance not justified, ragout, little meat, lots of sauce and dry bread. Schnitzel is a ready-made frozen product prepared in the deep fryer and you pay just under €20 for it. Potato wedges are normal potatoes! Accordingly, it doesn't taste that special either. And no dessert selection 🤔why not?! And lastly, because I only give 2 stars, you read Wilhelm Busch, and what do you get from a Greek. You can go there but there are better Greeks and better schnitzels elsewhere. LG 🌞

I was in your restaurant today and unfortunately I have to say that my visit was disappointing. The service was friendly and attentive, but the food did not meet my expectations. The dishes were bland and not well prepared.

Very friendly staff, the food is very tasty and plentiful, from schnitzel to fish to steak, nice atmosphere in the Wilhelm Busch Passage. I can only recommend it and go here often, whether to eat or just sit and have a drink.

the locale is sufficiently curious, given all that sententiousness and 19th century graffiti. there is the option of sitting outside. the most inviting place to have a meal is on the second floor, with its excellently dimmed, quasi orange lighting, wooden beams, and comfortable overall setting. the first floor is not as nice, due to the narrow layout, the proximity of the kitchen (open door) and of the bar area at the front. the food was fresh, including the salads (always the best benchmark: the apparently easy being the most difficult). regrettably, the service did not appear to have had its best day, seemed absent-minded (so as not to say disinterested or haughty). the tone or attentiveness changed immediately when a considerable tip was given even so (some might say: out of pity). perhaps friendliness should not be tied to monetary matters; then again, it's all just business.

A short stay in Merseburg led us to this restaurant. We became aware of it through the name and were excited to see what awaited us there. On a still quite warm evening on the first day of autumn this year, we were actually able to sit outside because luckily there were still a few free tables. The menu was interesting. At first we thought it was a German restaurant, but some of the ingredients and dishes sounded more Greek and there was also something Mediterranean and even Asian. For example, the huge schnitzel came with a sambal oelek sauce, the corn-fed chicken leg with gratinated mozzarella. But both extremely tasty. We couldn't quite manage the large portions. There was also a delicious dessert for free. We left this recommended restaurant full and satisfied. And yes, it is actually run by a nice Greek guy.

In the middle of Meserburg and still cozy and peaceful. Very nice service, who cares about your well-being and gives you a smile. The four-legged friends were also thought of with water.☺️ The food is top, nothing to complain about, very fair value for money. Always worth a visit again.🫶

It was okay, but sitting outside is a bit drafty, I forgot to bring a jacket and felt it was a bit chilly. Based on the name, I thought it was a German restaurant, but I'm not sure if it was Greek Restaurant acts. Price performance is completely okay.

Both my companion (both with professional experience in the catering industry) and I had a problem with the food. When we reported this fact to the waiter/bartender in a friendly manner, it was initially acknowledged with a noticeably negative attitude. He later approached us and we hoped for an apology to make up for such an unpleasant experience. Instead, my companion was asked in a harsh tone whether she always drinks from a bottle (Spezi) and whether this is not appropriate in restaurants. The topic of hair in the food came up again and he made it clear to us that he didn't believe it because we had no evidence (we had removed the hair discreetly beforehand). We didn't feel like we were being taken seriously in any way. Apart from the hair, my pasta was way too runny and 4 cherry tomatoes also felt like 4 too few. The whole thing was also priced 2-3 euros too expensive. Once and never again. Only the second waitress, with her friendly manner, gave us the feeling that the visit wasn't a complete disaster.

We came here spontaneously and were immediately warmly welcomed. The food came quite quickly, it was very tasty and tasty. The place seemed very clean, reasonably priced and affordable.

I wouldn't have expected that. Very cozy courtyard, the service was really quick and attentive and the food (fish dishes) was really good and at an absolutely fair price. It was well seasoned, really seasoned...unfortunately that's something that's missing from many restaurants! Plus delicious beer and yeast on tap. We'd love to come back.

Table reservation, no problem. Ultimately sat outside. It was full, so it took a while until we got the menu. Very good selection of food and drinks. Paid 50 euros for 2 meals + drinks. I was satisfied. Cash and debit cards were accepted. Unfortunately payment with credit card (Visa/Mastercard) is not possible.

Had 'rump steak' medium with a colleague - his was a little overcooked, mine was half delicious - half English and full of tendons. For €27 you probably can't ask for more. The garlic bread (4 small slices) is available for free elsewhere - €4.50 here. Service not so good - all in all suitable for this city - 1 star

We have been to Wilhelm B. for the umpteenth time and the food is fantastic - really very good. What I find very disturbing and questionable, however, is when the calculation is incorrect. For the umpteenth time! Some things are simply not accepted/accounted for - regardless of whether they are food or drinks. However, you only notice it when it comes time to pay. This has now happened for the third time, so it can't be said to be an isolated case. So one half of the table pays the entire bill because they are honest and the rest is left under the table because not everything was included. That's really what the service says. Incredible. This leaves a very unpleasant feeling for those who pay their bill in full - i.e. me!! Above all, how can the accounting be correct? If food and drinks go out that you had to buy as a company and are then not billed to the guest? Very questionable!

Little gem, with great service and a great innkeeper

Absolutely no recommendation. It was not possible to serve a large group because the restaurant was completely understaffed. 2.5 hours of waiting for the food, which was ultimately burnt. Once and never again. There are still 2 stars in service for the friendly waiter, who tried to somehow save the evening. Unfortunately a gastronomic disaster.

Although we had not pre-ordered seats, tables could be put together so that we could sit at one table together. We ordered several starters and main courses. Unfortunately, these were delivered so quickly that one guest received them in quick succession. Better attention should definitely be paid to the order! The main course was no longer hot to eat! After some confusion during the delivery of one of the main dishes and the subsequent clarification of different names for a dish between the waitress and the guests, clarification was achieved. After a small correction everything was perfect. The food was very tasty and, above all, plentiful! The service was friendly and accommodating. In the end, my guests were very satisfied. Disastrous quality. As soon as you entered the restaurant, which was very sweet, there was an unpleasant smell of old fat. The “homemade” schnitzel was obviously fried to death, dry and in no way breaded (convenience). Not tasty at all (old fat!). A lot of effort had gone into removing any crunch from the fried potatoes; they were wobbly and unappetizing. Any reasonably talented fast food restaurant can do all of this better and cheaper. The 17 euros asked for was a bad joke.

Nice service, delicious food, nice ambience, clean and tidy. Because of us, half of the dining room was rearranged so that we had enough space with the dogs. 👍😉 Special requests were fulfilled 🙏

We went to SpareRibs all you can eat today and it was super tasty. A very large portion and whoever wanted got another one. So really all you can eat. The service was simply great, very friendly, very quick and attentive. I can only recommend it and we will definitely come back.

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant mit leckeren Speisen. Es war erst etwas kühl, jedoch wurde nach der Bitte die Heizung an zu machen, es gemütlich warm.

Ich war schon mehrfach in diesem gemütlichen Restaurant essen. Am liebsten sitze ich draußen unter der mit Wein überwachsenen Pergola. Das Essen ist jedes Mal eine Gaumenfreude. Man merkt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Beim Personal konnte ich bisher nicht meckern, erst recht nicht, wenn die Frau vom Chef bedient (eine wirklich liebreizende Person). Ich bin froh, dass es in Merseburg ein so tolles Restaurant gibt, dass man gern Freunden und Bekannten wärmstens weiterempfiehlt. Ich komme gerne wieder... und wieder... und wieder. :)

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Unser Essen war lecker und ansprechend angerichtet. Die Küche hat sehr zügig gearbeitet. Die Preise sind angemessen.

Ich war mit meiner Begleitung am frühen Abend da und wir sind freudlich begrüßt und zügig bedient worden. Neben zwei Cheeseburgern mit Beilagen hatten wir noch als Vorspeise zwei verschiedene Suppen. Sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich waren die Gerichte sehr ansprechend. Jeder der klassische Küche und ein tolles Ambiente sucht, sollte hier einen Tisch reservieren.

Ein ungewöhnlicher Biergarten.In einem Hinterhof.Hiet wurde es sehr schön mit Zitaten und Bildern gestaltet. Das Essen war okay.Zwar etwas salzig,aber noch zu genießen.Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Ich kann den Unmut der letzten beiden Bewertungen verstehen, allerdings finde ich die Bewertung mit nur 1 Stern mehr als ungerecht! Vielmehr wurde in dieser Bewertung das eigene Ego zum Ausdruck gebracht. Wir waren zu viert am besagten 8. September gegen 19:30 Uhr am Tisch 23. Mittig und für alle erkennbar, saß eine größere Gesellschaft. Die junge Frau hat uns freundlich begrüßt und unsere Getränkebestellung umgehend aufgenommen. Ja, die Getränke ließen einige Zeit auf sich warten. Das stimmt!! Aber wir waren zum Essen dort und nicht auf der Flucht. Gemessen daran, daß alles immer frisch zubereitet wird, wurde unser Essen schnell serviert!! Das Essen war wiederholt einfach nur mega!! Optisch schön angerichtet, geschmacklich toll und ordentliche Portionen waren es auch. Das dort gebotene Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis sucht in Merseburg seinesgleichen!! Der Chef sitzt übrigens nicht im Designerhemd in der Ecke, sondern steht von früh bis spät in der Küche! Und weil es am Freitag wieder so ein schöner Abend im Wilhelm B gewesen ist, waren wir gestern Abend spontan erneut dort essen. Die Fischpfanne war wieder göttlich lecker!! In der heutigen Zeit fordern immer viele mehr, als was sie selbst zu leisten vermögen. Die schwachsinnigen Corona-Maßnahmen haben der Gastronomie zig tausende von Arbeitskräften geraubt. All das sollte man bedenken, wenn man hier solch unverhältnismäßige Beurteilungen abgibt!! Und sollte man wirklich mal unzufrieden sein, muß man das vor Ort ansprechen und somit dem Restaurant eine Chance geben.

Ich bin mit einigen Freunden zum Abendbrot in dieses Restaurant gegangen. Wir waren alle sehr von der Qualität und dem Geschmack der Speisen überrascht. Ich selbst hatte die Haxe und die war wirklich top zubereitet! Komme mit Sicherheit wieder und probiere die Karte weiter durch.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant in einer kleinen ruhigen Gasse. Der Burger war klasse. Wer will kann sich auch die Fleischplatte grillen lassen. Fragt den Service der war klasse ,immer auf zack nie musste jemand warten. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 13 Personen.

Wir waren das Erste Mal dort Essen und es wird definitiv nicht das letzte Mal sein, die Bedienung war super freundlich und hat uns auch darauf hingewiesen daß es etwas länger dauern wird, aber das Warten hat sich gelohnt, das Essen ist top und Preis Leistung stimmt auch. Beste Grüße aus Berlin.

Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant in gemütlicher Umgebung! Es gibt eine sehr abwechslungsreiche Speise-Karte, die nicht zu groß ist. Die Preise sind moderat. Empfehlen kann ich als Beilage immer die Rosmarin-Kartoffeln, die noch mal würziger als die Bratkartoffeln sind. Auch das Grillgemüse ist sehr geschmacksintensiv. Mein Zanderfilet wurde auf den Punkt zubereitet. Unbedingt mal probieren!
