Die Taverna Merseburg kann ich nur empfehlen. Die Bedienung ist super nett, immer freundlich und hat stets ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Man fühlt sich von Anfang an herzlich willkommen. Besonders die Vorspeisenplatte ist sehr zu empfehlen – frisch, lecker und abwechslungsreich. Auch der Chef ist immer freundlich und aufmerksam, sodass man sich als Gast wirklich wohlfühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Lokal ist schön und das Essen lecker, nur das Personal hat keinen Plan und beim bezahlen wird beschissen. Beim Essen wurde nur die Hälfte serviert, erst beim späteren Nachfragen musste nachgeschaut und dann nachgeliefert werden. Kennt man die Gerichte überhaupt? Man kann vieles mit Freundlichkeit und einem lächeln kaschieren aber nicht wenn man beim bezahlen mit dem Rückgeld beschissen wird. Also Obacht wenn ihr in dieses Lokal geht. ☝️

Sehr gute Küche ohne Chichi. Mittagskarte wirklich günstig. Service freundlich und schnell.

Ein wirklich großartiges griechisches Restaurant! Das Essen war sehr lecker und authentisch, alles frisch zubereitet und schön angerichtet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Service: Der junge Kellner und die Kellnerin waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr professionell.

Ein nettes wenn auch nicht typisch griechisches Ambiente. Personal sehr lieb und bemüht. Speisekarte ist o.k. geschmacklich war das Essen auch in Ordnung - alles insgesamt hat aber noch Luft nach oben.

Zum 2x da gewesen und es war wieder sehr lecker. Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und echt gut auf Zack 😉, gern wieder!

Wir waren mit ein paar Freunden hier essen und haben verschiedene Gerichte probiert – unter anderem frisch gegrilltes Gyros, ein Gyrospfännchen mit Metaxa-Sauce, gegrillte Rinderleber und Lammhaxe mit dicken Bohnen und Feta. Alles war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Da das Restaurant erst vor Kurzem eröffnet hat, haben wir zusätzlich noch eine kleine Vorspeisenplatte mit verschiedenen Dips zum Probieren bekommen, die ebenfalls sehr gut war. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Abend – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die Idee mit einer festgelegten Weihnachtskarte ist sicher eine gute Idee für die Betreiber, für die Gäste eher traurig. Für Vegetarier wenig Auswahl, für Veganer nichts. Personal bemüht, Essen leider lauwarm, lieblos angerichtet, z.B. lag das Schnitzel übergossen mit Soße neben den Pommes, nicht mal 1 Salatblatt ergänzte das traurige Duett. Nun, wem es reicht, der darf gern ein zweites Mal hingehen, wir nicht.

Auf der Weihnachtskarte hat man als Vegetarier eine wahnsinnig riesige Auswahl aus 3 Vorspeisen und einer Hauptspeise. Als Veganer reduziert sich das ganze auf 0-1.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Merseburg. It's especially wonderful to sit outside in the summer. Highly recommended!! Addendum: My definite highlight this year was the lamb for Easter, but the kale comes a close second – so, so good! ☀️🍀

Von außen ein wunderschönes Ambiente und man fühlt sich Wilhelm Busch nah. Von innen leider nicht mehr. Wir fanden es kein schönes Ambiente. Wurden herzlich empfangen. Das Essen war leider mittelmäßig. Die Bratkartoffeln total versalzen und der Kartoffelbrei komplett ohne Geschmack. Für den Preis waren wir nicht begeistert und eher enttäuscht. Auf unsere Beschwerde wurde auch nicht eingegangen.

A table reservation is a must. We received a very friendly welcome and were seated downstairs in a lovingly decorated room. The food was delicious and the service attentive. The restaurant is nestled in the charming Wilhelm Busch Passage. Great👍

The food is really good, and the side dishes are creative rather than ordinary. What really stands out here, however, is the service and the people! Attentive and friendly staff, and the atmosphere was very harmonious.

The food was delicious and the service was good, but the ambiance is terrible: the downstairs dining room is tiled, and the refrigerator looks and is (we took off our jackets!). The upstairs room wasn't open, as it was quite cramped and squat.

A very nice restaurant, located in a cozy courtyard. Small but mighty. Friendly, attentive, and young staff. We had cod with tomato rice and grilled vegetables, as well as very tender beef liver with fresh mashed potatoes. A true chef is in the kitchen here. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Merseburg.

Totally cozy, lovely outdoor area... The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the food doesn't take too long to arrive, and the portions are very filling. Absolutely delicious, too. And I have to say, I really like the music that plays in the evenings!

There were two of us and the food was very good. We had beef liver and rump steak. Both dishes were excellently prepared and generously presented. The service was very attentive. Even the chef checked to see if everything was OK. Highly recommended restaurant.

We honestly sat there for 1.5 hours waiting for our food, even though the place was empty. Two families who arrived after us left before us. The shrimp with "crustacean sauce" didn't have any sauce, just oil. If the menu says it contains Parmesan, I expect more than a teaspoon, but most of it was on the basil.

We definitely had a very nice evening. The waitresses were very polite, nice and hardworking. These are not to be envied when they have to run up and down the stairs countless times. The chef seemed fun. Oriental music was playing from the kitchen, which might not be appropriate for a German restaurant, but was still entertaining. The portion sizes were generous and the quality of the food was good to very good. Depending on what you ordered. So all in all a solid performance.

What direction the restaurant takes remains a mystery to me. It's not just regional, as we thought. A mix of German and Italian? Service staff tried hard and friendly. Rooms attractive. Cozy on the outside. Prices ok. 2 dishes really good, 4 stars. But the tagliatelle were covered with meat, so unfortunately they squished and stuck. They hardly had any sauce and could only develop some flavor by adding salt and pepper, which was a real shame. 1 star. Fresh tzatziki. If necessary, wipe and degrease the spice container...

There were four of us. The waitress was on her first day and was very accommodating. However, unfortunately the food wasn't good. 4 different dishes, all unfortunately not satisfactory. The metaxa sauce was miserable. Fries inedible. The salmon was quite ok. Then we had liver. In the end, of course, it's all a matter of taste.

Were there recently. Otherwise everything was ok. There was no space for over 30 people. My husband and I will not visit this restaurant again. Greetings

Best restaurant in Merseburg. If you're looking for good food and great service, this is the place for you. We have been to the Wilhelm B.18-32 restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. Absolutely recommended.

Ambiance very nice rustic. Service very good, very friendly. Food quality/price performance not justified, ragout, little meat, lots of sauce and dry bread. Schnitzel is a ready-made frozen product prepared in the deep fryer and you pay just under €20 for it. Potato wedges are normal potatoes! Accordingly, it doesn't taste that special either. And no dessert selection 🤔why not?! And lastly, because I only give 2 stars, you read Wilhelm Busch, and what do you get from a Greek. You can go there but there are better Greeks and better schnitzels elsewhere. LG 🌞

the locale is sufficiently curious, given all that sententiousness and 19th century graffiti. there is the option of sitting outside. the most inviting place to have a meal is on the second floor, with its excellently dimmed, quasi orange lighting, wooden beams, and comfortable overall setting. the first floor is not as nice, due to the narrow layout, the proximity of the kitchen (open door) and of the bar area at the front. the food was fresh, including the salads (always the best benchmark: the apparently easy being the most difficult). regrettably, the service did not appear to have had its best day, seemed absent-minded (so as not to say disinterested or haughty). the tone or attentiveness changed immediately when a considerable tip was given even so (some might say: out of pity). perhaps friendliness should not be tied to monetary matters; then again, it's all just business.

A short stay in Merseburg led us to this restaurant. We became aware of it through the name and were excited to see what awaited us there. On a still quite warm evening on the first day of autumn this year, we were actually able to sit outside because luckily there were still a few free tables. The menu was interesting. At first we thought it was a German restaurant, but some of the ingredients and dishes sounded more Greek and there was also something Mediterranean and even Asian. For example, the huge schnitzel came with a sambal oelek sauce, the corn-fed chicken leg with gratinated mozzarella. But both extremely tasty. We couldn't quite manage the large portions. There was also a delicious dessert for free. We left this recommended restaurant full and satisfied. And yes, it is actually run by a nice Greek guy.

In the middle of Meserburg and still cozy and peaceful. Very nice service, who cares about your well-being and gives you a smile. The four-legged friends were also thought of with water.☺️ The food is top, nothing to complain about, very fair value for money. Always worth a visit again.🫶

It was okay, but sitting outside is a bit drafty, I forgot to bring a jacket and felt it was a bit chilly. Based on the name, I thought it was a German restaurant, but I'm not sure if it was Greek Restaurant acts. Price performance is completely okay.

Both my companion (both with professional experience in the catering industry) and I had a problem with the food. When we reported this fact to the waiter/bartender in a friendly manner, it was initially acknowledged with a noticeably negative attitude. He later approached us and we hoped for an apology to make up for such an unpleasant experience. Instead, my companion was asked in a harsh tone whether she always drinks from a bottle (Spezi) and whether this is not appropriate in restaurants. The topic of hair in the food came up again and he made it clear to us that he didn't believe it because we had no evidence (we had removed the hair discreetly beforehand). We didn't feel like we were being taken seriously in any way. Apart from the hair, my pasta was way too runny and 4 cherry tomatoes also felt like 4 too few. The whole thing was also priced 2-3 euros too expensive. Once and never again. Only the second waitress, with her friendly manner, gave us the feeling that the visit wasn't a complete disaster.

It was well seasoned, really seasoned...unfortunately that's something that's missing from many restaurants! Plus delicious beer and yeast on tap. We'd love to come back.
