We spontaneously went there for dinner yesterday. The food was excellent, the service and the venue were superb, and the ambiance was beautiful. 💯

Friendly service, delicious food and a great atmosphere.

Reserved a table, OK. Restaurant only had two tables occupied, OK. Asked by staff if we could sit outside or inside, OK. After 15 minutes, no order taken, nice evening.

I can't recommend it. The wrong food was brought to my table twice. I took the second one (the 44 instead of the 54). There was no apology for the wrong food. Not even a free drink as apology. The quality of the food is below average. (But that's just my opinion.) We won't be visiting this restaurant again.

We spontaneously stopped by for lunch today and were immediately warmly welcomed. The service was very attentive and friendly. We had two pizzas and one nuggets (which were homemade) with fries. The pizzas were very large and delicious. Highly recommended.

Either the owner or the chef has changed. The tagliatelle with beef was apparently a bit of a dud, at least the beef. Unfortunately, we ordered it twice more. The beef was hard to get down, so we returned both dishes half-finished. We still had to pay full price. We remember it very differently from last year's visit. Since we only come here once a year now, this won't have any impact, except that we won't go there anymore. At least the dish was well-covered with greens.

The food was okay. The service was completely unattentive and ignored empty glasses. We drove 20 km specifically because of the good reviews. We won't be going back.

Everything was fine. The service was quirky but authentic. Only when it came to the food did a dark shadow of frozen food and convenience hang over the tables. A safe bet for many, but not enough for me.

A chic, delicious restaurant. Reservations are essential. It's perfect for birthdays, and there's no shortage of cocktails and other drinks. The waiters just don't speak German very well.

We were incredibly unlucky. After we called and made a reservation, they didn't have a suitable table for us. They seated us 'temporarily' (for almost an hour) at a table for two. The food arrived, but despite repeated requests, they didn't move us. The waiters laughed or ignored us. As we were about to leave, two others came and tried to save the day. The food was reheated, and we each received a free drink. The evening was still ruined, and we were extremely annoyed. They should have turned us down over the phone or been honest upon arrival. Then the ignorance and the making fun of us because there were three of us sitting at a table for two. Well... We noticed that many people really enjoyed it, and hopefully we were the exception, but that wasn't how we imagined the evening. The food was good and the prices were upscale. The atmosphere was nice, but very cramped, crowded, and loud. Best wishes to the employee who has Google's bad reviews removed. If you've messed up, you have to own up to it.

We've been here several times with 12 employees after a conference. The pizzas are amazing, super delicious and freshly prepared. The prices and quality are right; we always enjoy coming back and enjoying the end of the day. We can fully recommend it.

Unfortunately, the food has deteriorated considerably. Prices are also somewhat overpriced.

The place is very nice and the seating is comfortable. I don't really understand the overly positive reviews of the food. The spaghetti aglio e olio had tomatoes in it which 1. didn't belong in the dish and 2. weren't on the menu, which quickly puts you in a bad mood if you're allergic. The peppers weren't spicy, they tasted like paprika and the parsley wasn't cooked through. Furthermore, the portion sizes aren't right, as one children's pizza will easily feed four people, while another won't even feed one. One visit later, the grilled peppers were completely dry, fried or grilled, whatever, it was inedible. Service and atmosphere were great, food so-so, neither one thing nor the other. A little tip... hire an Italian chef if you're going to base your menu on that.

The place was packed on a Saturday evening. The service was attentive and friendly. There were 17 of us and we received excellent service. However, I only had 2 starters because I wasn't very hungry. But these were very good. Salads and pizzas were eaten at the table. Everyone was very satisfied

We were there last Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with 15 people, reserved several weeks in advance. Reception and space were great, drinks and food orders were picked up quickly - but that was it. The rest was a complete disappointment: 100 minutes until the food arrived, rump steak, although ordered medium, was not only well done but fried really dry, you had to look for black tiger prawns for €26.50, grilled vegetables were completely oily. Steak was returned and after emphatic intervention directly at the kitchen, the steak of inferior quality arrived after another 35 minutes. No apologies, boss couldn't be reached, invoice also had to be corrected - that's enough. You have one less long-standing customer.

Unfortunately, on Saturday you wait almost two hours for your food despite having ordered a table and unfortunately even with children who had simple nuggets. You will be compensated but that shouldn't be the point of the matter Unfortunately, the food is also very oily, which is not for everyone

Waren heute das erste mal in der Sonne essen. Laut der Bewertungen müssen wir wohl am falschen Tag da gewesen sein. Total überfüllt, trotz Tischreservierung mussten wir längere Zeit auf unseren Tisch warten.Bedienung total Überfordert. Nach ca. halbe Stunde kam erstmal eine Bedienung. Vorspeisen wurden nur zum Teil gebracht. Nach anderthalb Stunden haben wir mal nach unserem Essen gefragt. Gehe davon aus das unseres vergessen wurde, man merkte direkt die Hektik die auf kam. Die letzte Vorspeise kam dann mal mit der Hauptspeise an. Essen war zum Teil ganz gut. Schade das wir um 22.30 Uhr die Aufforderung bekamen die Rechnung zu zahlen .Ja die Öffnungszeiten waren bis 22.00 Uhr wir haben unser Essen aber auch erst gegen 21.45 Uhr bekommen. In allem vom ganzen. Der erste Besuch war nicht so ideal. Wir werden nochmal einen Versuch starten, alleine um uns vom Gegenteil zu überzeugen, da es eigentlich so eine gute Bewertung hat. Wahrscheinlich wirklich denn falschen Tag erwischt.

I was in the restaurant shortly before Christmas and ordered a dish that was not typical, apart from the starters (duck leg, etc.), which completely convinced me of the restaurant. The restaurant is very chic, the service is courteous, the food is incredibly tasty and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I'm already looking forward to the next visits!

The No. 1 restaurant in Merseburg

Ich hatte 4 x angerufen um Reservierung gebeten für den 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag. Beim 4. Mal wurde ich endlich registriert. Das geht schon mal gar nicht. Das Essen kam und war kalt, wir gaben es zurück. Das 2. Essen kam und die Ente war zäh. Kaum Soße und die Klöße waren aus der Tüte, das Rotkraut aus dem Glas und das für 25,- €. Nein danke, dass brauche wir nicht noch mal. Da koche ich viel lieber selber. Man gab uns zwar 25 % Nachlass aber das Weihnachtsessen war dahin.

My all-time favorite and absolute favorite Italian. Great service, an incredibly beautiful ambience (I just wouldn't recommend the table for two in the cloakroom) and a great kitchen! In my opinion, the best Italian in the area! ♡ I recommend the Sonne to anyone who wants to go out for a fancy meal and appreciates good, fresh food.

And you sat with your back against the dish trolley. Unfortunately we also had a heater in the way was a bit disturbing. One word: epic! Very comfortably furnished, a bit expensive but worth every single cent. The food came very quickly and was super tasty. Despite the starter, main course and dessert, no feeling of fullness. 11/10. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back.

Were invited to dinner. Ordering was possible quickly, but then there were problems, but these were not communicated. It was said that no pizza could be ordered. The fries for the child were brought relatively quickly, but unfortunately there was nothing after that, we waited 45 minutes. Afterwards the food came, although all the steaks were fried to death and my food was only a little warm. Unfortunately there were no steak knives, cutting was a bit difficult and the staff wasn't there to ask for another knife.

The food is of an outstanding quality. Can only recommend. Everything is top notch. The place was quite filled with guest, despite that service was fast. No long waits on orders. Additionally it's not so loud as in other places. Gentle and nice music.

Really great restaurant in Merseburg. You feel very comfortable and the staff is friendly. Had the appetizer platter. Unfortunately, there was no selection of the various great starters on the menu, but completely different components. I was a bit disappointed then. But it was still super tasty and the menu simply makes you curious about so much more.

We were really speechless: the antipasti plate consisted of canned ingredients, cheap Zervelat sausage and glued imitation cooked ham, it was “fresh” from the refrigerator, i.e. pre-filled and stored in a cool place, as you would find in highway restaurants. You can do it for €13.90, but we won't order it again. The pizza with shrimp, see photo, tasteless and limp. €16.90 is not even remotely justified. So in short, for us, no location to return to...👋👋👋

The most expensive shed on site. When it comes to the price and performance ratio, there is a huge difference. I just wanted to drink a few beers, someone kept coming by. Who wanted to take the food order, I was just thirsty. When the waitress finally figured it out, they were no longer interested in me as a guest. And then just disappeared. I paid at the counter because no one was there. And then I went to the kebab shop around the corner at the church. And returned there for much less money. It's actually a shame... But main courses for 17-29 euros, dude, that's definitely too rich for me...

Staff nice, food very good. All in all really nice. Half a point is deducted because I had the same quality for less money. I find it comparatively expensive. And another half point is deducted for the fact that we were expelled from the restaurant, I think around eleven, because they wanted to close. I don't even know what time it is and that would be an exclusion criterion for the next evening.

We come here regularly with business customers and have not been disappointed so far. The food is super delicious, whether pizza or meat dishes. Unfortunately, on our last visit we had to wait a while for our drinks. But that doesn't detract from the matter. The restaurant is definitely recommended.

Unfortunately, while eating, I noticed a foreign body in my mouth, which upon closer inspection turned out to be not a Y-bone but a bent metal chip. The waiter who was called looked surprised and later gave us a small tiramisu as a half-hearted apology. “Of course” in the end the full price was charged for the metal-containing dish. Oh well...
